    That unit is what process everything like he said, heater,gps, all sorts of options on the unit. This is not the actual Amp. You don't necessarily need to have the 9 speaker Amp system. I have the 6 speakers set up, I have a 2014 dart 2.4 limited, yet it still came with the Amp already connected and working cause the front speakers hit hard. One thing I recently found is the connections taped up by factory tape for the 2 back speakers and the woofer, since mine does have the holes pre-cut already.

      This controls everything from the radio with powering the speakers as I stated control units whatever is below that radio I'm at bezel if you unplug it nothing works it's not a big amplifier that's in that it's only like 16 Watts or something like that to each speaker if not less everything plugs into that unit as I stated

    this unit isn't doesn't have an amplifier, the amp comes with the alpine package and would've been located in the empty space to the right of the head unit of the radio next to the glove box, they are black and rectangular

      i cut the harness to get a output to hi input to low out put rca adaptor from the amp module that you see in the video then resplice back in when i installed a after market 5 channel amp there was no harness at the time available prob might be now i don't own the car anymore if you can see the big harness has 8 wires grouped together those were the speaker wires i dont rem colors you have to test i tested them with a 9 volt battery to confirm than did an ohm test as well i describe what the plug looks like at the end showing a very similar harness of what you need to look for just the mail version that plugs in to the amp gps module it was white and the biggest one

      I never did a wiring harness on this I just tapped in the stock Factory harness and cut it after testing with a 9-volt battery where the speakers were and an voltage meter / ohm tester built into that once I cut a new what what it's a pretty simple harness being like my 2003 Dodge Dart a very similar but not the same little bit oval shaped Bing White that's all I remember the pins are definitely not the same

    So I purchased the 8.4n uconnect screen with navigation or atleast it should have it. I have the stock radio right now but it seems you were able to set up the radio fairly easily with just the LCD and the amplifier lots hope it's as quick for me and I hope these come with the cords lmao will keep you posted if anyone is interested

    at 4:01, the 3 knob like circles, are those the factory amp adjustments?

    • @BIGKEV9606
      @BIGKEV9606 7 місяців тому

      That might be true but I think it's a factory stamping of when that part was made whatever that is at that time obviously don't have the car anymore some years ago as bought it in 2013 and lemon lot at 3 years later so I can't definitively say or not their adjustments it might be a stamping on that part/cover was built I probably would have noticed it if it was adjustments but I can't just definitively say that's what that's for or if it's adjustable

    I can't for the life of me figure out which harness controls which. Which one does the GPS? Which one is the radio? We're trying to splice in an amp connected to an 8" speaker but we can't figure out which harness or wires connect to the rear speakers at all. It's a mess of green colored wires with stripes on them, it's frustrating and it took ages to get the CPU out n

      The wiring harness that is for the speakers for the amp on that module. It's the big rectangular style white one that unplugs from that module that I show in my hand. That's a great plug. It's very similar looking to that. I don't remember what wires are what? I do not own the vehicle anymore. It's the biggest plug on the unit

    I was the owner of that car The Dodge dart in this video "POS" I don't own this car anymore due to I lemon lawed this car due to the problems that Chrysler wouldn't fix on it. I posted this on my brother's account at the time on the dart that module controls everything. Everything plugs into it. GPS heater controls radio everything for instance, if you unplug something on it that doesn't work for whatever you unplugged on it, you can test it. I know what all them plugs kind of look like The square style that is black is for the heater controls. The white one below. It is for the radio.power The other four are for antenna, CD player and GPS unit. two them is USB style for the CD player and The SD card slot and That's at the 15:06 mark I know that unit controls everything from doing car audio because if you unplug one thing one thing doesn't work Those cars or that car for instance might be specific. With this module located I haven't seen that setup in anything else sense. I own a 2015 Chrysler 200 that has the Alpine system in it and The amp for the Alpine is in the same spot but it's just an amplifier. It doesn't control everything everything like the dart the 200 it's ran off the head unit control wise for heaters and heated seats and gps . everything on my 200 is different and is wired individually. due to every speaker being electronically crossed over specifically I rewired this whole car. I own this and the way you have to do that car is kind of set up as a six speaker setup with passive crossovers.for the 3.5 speakers I've wired a 2021 Jeep compass that's similar to my dart. The head unit on my 200 and my Jeep are the same with the output that comes out of them. Radio wise The only difference is it goes into amplifier on my 200 and the dart goes into this module located in the same spot where my Jeep Does not have a separate amplifier above the glove box. It comes off the actual radio screen. Being an 8.4 touch screen There are some companies out there that make wiring harnesses or a DSP module that piggybacks out and back in whether it has a DSP module on it or not. Or plugs into that wiring harness You can rewire into an RCA high low converter unit or use what is supplied from some of these companies. As for the wiring harness My Jeep was probably more complicated than my 200 because the output that came out of that vehicle front to rear is different and you'll need a DSP unit to fix that. My 200 had the DSP built into the wiring harness from pac audio . Pac Audio doesn't make anything for the Jeep compass but they make things for other Jeep products that are Chrysler based because even though all these cars are kind of Chrysler based, My Chrysler 200 is Chrysler based. My Jeep compass is fiat based. The dart is fiat based. They don't make too much stuff for fiat based vehicles, I've talked a pac audio. I've talked to Rockford fosgate and there's another company as well. Fiat-based stuff is very hard to find things at work. As long as you can find a wiring harness that fits, you should be able to figure out what speaker wires are What with using a 9 volt battery or an ohms tester with seeing what color the wires are as well in the doors and tracing them back. That's what I did on a lot of these cars to make sure I don't mess anything up because my cars still have warranties on them Even to this day. I've wired a couple other cars up that have Sony systems in them that are not Chrysler products and they're kind of even more complicated They give you a wiring harness and it's not correctly labeled stating what wire is, what and what the polarity is as well My 200 was not correct. The wiring harness that was provided to me for polarity wise was wrong and had a test and confirm everything when I did a Sony system for a Ford Taurus the back subchannels were not correct at all. I had to re-cut a different stock harness that I didn't have a plug for and was not provided and resplice it cuz that car had two separate amplifiers in it. One for the sub channels and one for the high frequency channels My suggestion is if you're new to this and you haven't been doing this 25 plus years and kind of know what to look for take it this to a shop. These cars are very complicated with wiring and you might mess something up. If you don't know what to look for in test for I know what to look for and what to test for. I've been doing this a long time.I don't work in the car audio business by any means I never have but I've been doing this like I said for 25 plus years on cars. I've worked on my brother's and friends and family cars as well I just know what to kinda of look for and test and how things are wired and make sure I get it right you test. It's all about testing and researching the vehicle you're looking for. You don't find what you're looking for. Search it again and read your Reddit forms. That's what I do for a lot of vehicles before I start on them

      I'm guessing the yellow cable is for the antenna. Lately, I've been experiencing some strange engine check lights. Each day, the engine code indicates a different sensor issue, even after replacing them. I even replaced the engine control module with no success. Now, I suspect the problem might be electrical. I've checked all the fuses, and they're intact. I received the code B142D13 for "Audio Antenna Not Connected-Circuit Open," which I initially ignored as it had appeared before. However, upon inspection, I found the antenna base was loose and had water in it. I replaced it with a part from a junkyard, but the issue persists, possibly due to a defective part. I'm hesitant to reopen the headliner without a new part. Dealing with this 2013 Dodge Dart has become quite frustrating. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

      Once for the antenna once for a GPS I don't remember the colors I think one was yellow and one was white one for GPS and one for the antenna
