I work at a auto part store, customer came in same year and model car, asked to get her tail light bulb replaced, took both of us 15 minutes to try to get that housing off, I eventually came to the conclusion that a hammer is our last resort, hit it 2 times on the bolt that the 10mm nut was on and it popped right off, if anyone else has any trouble just give it a good ol love tap!

Thanks for the helpful video, very well explained and demonstrated. Unfortunately, that assembly was stuck in there good, and I was not able to pop it out. I didn't want to start prying, or whacking with my gloved hand for fear of breaking something.

For the seats?
Yes sir they are just standard seats not electric ones but they are heated and I think the elements finally gave out
I'd honestly just find newer seats from a local salvage yard. You can search car-parts.com on that site you can see what salvage yards have what, for how much, and the condition. The heaters them selves are hard to do. You have to remove the upholstery to get to the heating elements.
