Important to note that most automotive bulbs are Halogen and you should never touch the glass with your bare skin. The glass is a special form of crystal that reacts with the oils in your skin at high temperatures. This could cause the bulb to fail or even explode when it gets hot enough, and will always reduce the life of the bulb.

I couldn't twist my right brake light to get it out and went to my mechanic for help. He took 20 minutes to change it and unscrewed "all 3 bolts" to free the whole assembly. I thought it was going to be 30 seconds of free help according to the owner's manual; I searched for a video just to verify that he was full of crap. Mission accomplished.
