I Found a Mud Hole INFESTED with Deadly Snakes!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 жов 2024
- In today's video, I revisit the mysterious mud holes to catch out, and save more rare aquarium fish! We recently discovered these crazy mud holes made by plecos, and when it floods, fish and other creatures get trapped in there! This time I made 3 mini fish traps to place in the holes, and while we let those sit I stuck my arm inside of the holes to see what I could catch! We ended up catching baby plecos, cichlids, colorful crawfish, oscars, mysterious unknown fish, AND MORE! We then came across MONSTER plecos stuck inside of the holes, including a big royal place, and albino pleco! After catching some pretty nasty stuff, like giant snails and leeches, I decided to place 2 more fish traps inside of the hidden tunnel! We then checked the bottle fish traps and were shocked at all the fish we caught including albino catfish, orange crawfish, cichlids, AND MORE! We took back all the fish we saved, and put them into my backyard ponds... We then went back to the creek to check the other fish traps, and were shocked at what was inside! We found a DEADLY snake called a coral snake lurking in our fish trap... We had no idea what to do or how to get the fish out, so we had to act fast and save these fish, while avoiding a bite from a highly venomous snake... Should we come back and do a part 3?

That was indeed a venomous eastern coralsnake. Although they are venomous, bites are very rare as they are generally very reluctant to bite. Even when bites do happen, an estimated 25 to 50% of bites are "dry bites", and even when venom is injected your chance of survival is around the 99% mark. If I were you I'd probably invest in a breakdown snake hook that you can keep in your car, so that you can safely move snakes if you need to in the future.
I read they're related to the cobras... but aren't anywhere near as aggressive. Still not a snake you want to pick a fight with.
They tend to be very reluctant to bite due to being rear fanged they really have to chew on you to envenomate so for the most part they will not try to bite.
Still their venom is pretty potent, so don't mess with them.
@dempseyowens5430 that is not correct and is a common misconception. Coral snakes are not rear-fanged, they have front fixed fangs just as all elapids do.
Yo watch out for Apple snails they're egg-laying season's coming up and the eggs are have a Nero toxic not mistaken and carry rat worm lung disease do apple snails are carriers of rat worm lung disease also very interested in color crayfish hopefully I can get in touch with you

13:53 looks like some type of Raphael Catfish by the hinged spine fins
15:00 is a marbled or giant Raphael Catfish
18:15 chocolate pleco
22:40 striped Raphael Catfish, they along with the plecos can breath air from the surface probably why he was up at the top
23:22 midas Cichlid/ red devil

27:33 looks like a channel cat hard to ID at that size
27:41 Red Pike Cichlid
28:29 Bristlenose pleco

33:44 maybe a Vieja?
the geophagus is a steindachneri to be more specific
I thought the geophagus looked more like a green terror phenotype haha
13:53 spotted Raphael catfish
WOW.
@@ashlygacha2489 I'm heavily into fish myself specializing in salt water. They are fascinating
Those kind of crawfish go for big money. It is a Warsamson River Crayfish. It is native to western Papua New Guinea. It's amazing that you've found one as it was only recently discovered. I've seen them go for as much as $120. It's definitely one you want to take extra special care of. Maybe put it in an indoor tank so it doesn't get eaten by racoons or birds or snakes or something. Would you leave $120 laying around in the yard? Didn't think so. Definitely put that beauty in an indoor aquarium, and if you can find another one of the opposite sex, definitely breed them for fun and PROFIT!!!
Bobby, pleco are live bearing fish! 😂They don't lay eggs, the eggs develope and hatch inside them and then they give birth in those holes!
Cool 😎

It does look like a Warsamson River Crayfish, but I thought it looked more like a Cherax Pulcher Crayfish but I’m not an expert so idk
It’s a thunderbolt crayfish 😂
Yeah I think that is right

I will do one push-up for every like because Thursday is coming up and I have a sports event so you know I need it
The Thunderbolt Crayfish (Cherax pulcher) is a newly discovered and extremely rare species of crayfish native to the Hoa Creek of Western Papua New Guinea. With its remarkably eclectic coloration, this crayfish is without a doubt one of the most unique-looking crayfish in the world. This crayfish is also commonly known as the Pink Coral Freshwater Lobster, though true lobsters do not exist in freshwater. Deep blue, hot pink, emerald green, orange, white, and black are all distinctly shown on top specimens of this crayfish. A 7-color spectrum is not found on any other freshwater crayfish! The Thunderbolt Crayfish will breed in the aquarium with proper care, although the fry are extremely slow growing, especially compared to the many more common US crayfish species that are popular in the aquarium hobby. In fact, many of our specimens have bred in our tanks at our facility!
The crayfish was lit the for telling us
I thought it was this one?

Never heard of an Apple Snail before. I love Escargot and thought, what could be the difference. Strange that people don't hunt these for food. You're hilarious btw, brave too for sticking your hands down unknown water holes. You've surpassed a million subscribers now, I'm very happy for you. Keep up the fascinating entertainment.
People do eat them sometimes. But they are extra chewy and can only really eat the foot. They also have to be cleansed properly as they can carry some mean parasites.
But since theyre invasive they should be killed most likely. Some do eat them though.
Removal invasives.

I live in south GA and this is the rhyme I learned growing up, "Red on black, friend of Jack. Red on yellow, kill a fellow." I'm honestly surprised you don't come across more snakes and gators.

bobby is parasite. 😅
Immune system to strong 💪
He doesn’t drink
The water or have a gash.
Yea its very easy to avoid parasites. Dont eat what you find in the mudhole raw and dont drink the water 😂. As far as infection, just dont have an immune disorder. Or if you do, not a hobby for you unfortunately.
13:15 she probably had two clutches and made just more than one hole or there can be more and just leave and go back to living in the canal

At 14:06 that insect is called a Jerusalem Beetle. The funny thing is it’s not from Jerusalem nor is it a Beetle. I caught those on my ranch at 5,500 feet above sea level. It’s harmless, but it looks scary.
Has anyone noticed the fact he cares about fish it doesn’t look like it he says they might have been breeded and the parents are still there…never catches parents but takes the poor child😂😂😂❤❤❤
The crayfish are evolving 😂
Loving all the different plecos you're catching. They're one of my favourite fish. Part 3 for sure 👍

The large crayfish you caught is not a lobster (which are marine crustaceans), nor is it a hybrid of some sort.
Like someone commented before it is most probably a Cherax warsamsonicus from West Papua in Indonesia or maybe Cherax pulcher from the same area. It can be difficult to tell them apart because both species have a similar coloration.
It looked like this one didn't it?

You should make a pleco fish pond,I really want you to make one
Bobby just so you know you can't always go by that color thing with coral snakes. I think you should do some research on it because you are always coming across them. I just don't want to see you get hurt or even worse brother. God bless you and your family my friend.
Hi just letting you know that leaches are actually very good and are used by doctors aswell as maggots and leaches won't kill u they painlessly make an incision of the skin and suck blot out from the wound when there full they will drop of and the wou d will continue to bleed and will quickly clot its actually quite good for u a beneficial parasite love what u do for the fish keep it up
Love your videos. So interesting and exciting.
Maybe you should bring an extra bucket for when you find things like glass or garbage to dispose of rather than throw back in.
Dude, that type of snake was a milk snake they are extremely aggressive
As a fish lover I enjoy these videos with you your friends and with helen and look forward to all your future videos you put out!!! Keep going❤

Thank you for exploring and explaining. You must be a true fisherman! 🎣
Bobby, that spiny catfish you caught at 14:48 is a Megalodoras, or as I like to refer to them; a chainsaw catfish. They grow to over 2 feet long.
Chainsaw, you say? *Kickback plays and headbanging ensues*
that fish that was hanging onto your finger that was a rip saw

That crayfish you caught is a different species of crayfish than the ones you normally catch. That crayfish is an invasive species from Indonesia, didn’t know they made it to Florida until now but they’re very beautiful
I was though it from Malaysia 🤭
Cherax pulcher
Yes, in fact, they are called Cherax Pulcher Crayfish and they are very pretty
It’s a thunderbolt crayfish 😂

Hey Bobby! Love your videos!
Just wanted to let you know that, yes, a coral snake is venomous and could kill you if bitten, it’s more likely to leave you alone. And even if you were bitten, as long as you seek treatment right away, there’s a strong chance you’ll survive. However, all that said, I would still exercise caution when near one or any other venomous snake. And thank you for not killing it and rather just letting it go. Keep doing what you’re doing!
Thank you! Yes, coral snakes are pretty docile and chill. It you leave it alone you'll be alright 😊
Catfish make those holes
@@SebastianSmith-ui3ch who are you talking to? The person you're commenting to said nothing about that.

At 17:32 he looked like he just got jump scared by Freddy Fazbear
That was insane!! Definitely not the normal habitat you’d expect to find a coral snake. They normally stick to more dryer habitats like planted pines. But there’s always that one oddball in the group…you know what I’m taking about Bobby. 😂😂 Just kidding…great video I think this may be your best one yet.
It feels like a shame to see that 'Murica' crawfish disappear into the jungle gym to probably never be seen again. Would have been great to have him in a tank!
Just so you know, snakes that are venomous have more box like shape, heads, and the snakes that are non-venomous have more round heads
Yes, you should go back for a part 3. I would love that.
I am glad you ok and are able to keep making these amazing videos for us
Day 80! Of telling Bobby he is making everyone’s day better
Don’t worry. If you want to catch it just wear something thick and gently but firmly grab mid body. If you grab mid-body the snake feels supported and very low chance to bite even if curled into s defensive position and looks stressed.
I love your videos! Thank you for posting!! You and Helen should do another fish trap challange
