Nice to see another one on the road. I have a 2021 model in red here in Australia, and I absolutely love it. There are two other bikes in the garage which aren't getting much attention. The aussie model has a few differences to the US model, it has the rear footpegs, and centre and side stand. We get the nice little turn lights, and there's no kill switch. It has a single seat, but you can buy a squab seat for the luggage rack, so it's definitely legal to have a pillion. Thanks for the video 👍🇦🇺

Also I forgot to mention on my 2019 I have a dark blue seat with extra padding great for long rides, I bought my 2019 honda super cub year ago, good luck I'm one of your older subscribers.

Did the seat come with the motorcycle or did you get it aftermarket?

Should I get a 1980’s fix up for $500-$1000 or should I buy the brand new one for about ~$4,000?

I have both. I love my two 1982 C70s, but my C125 is really the only one I take cruising. It tops out at 65 and the fuel injection gets you there quick. If you can afford both, I would say do it and have the best of both worlds. I you can only have one, I would say get the C125 because is is much more capable and versatile

@@SouthpawWorkshophi,i have a honda c70z2 1982..i have done an upgrade with genuine honda parts at 98cc 4 speed 12v geared internally with primary from z50 and cruises at 70km low revs ,top speed is 60-65 depends ,and clocks 134.000 km so far.consumption is with steady 70km per hour at 45km per litre.Depends what you want to do what you have what is your goal and your mechanical skills..personally i dont like the new cub.its not so reliable in general..needless to say i have work at honda once..the old cubs are better all around just slower.

I don’t like the cast wheels on the new Cubs. Spokes would look great on them.

have a 1980 yellow c70, but im trading it for a 70mph mini bike. the c70 is fun, but ive tried out a few mini bikes and they are (somehow) even more fun.

I bought a 2020 C125 super cub and now my Passports sit neglected in storage. I’m keeping them, but they won’t see much use.

Those are both sweet little motor cycles. Do you have any thoughts on an 88 c.c. bigboard kit for the C70? Thank you.

Plenty of people have installed them with no issues, so I’m sure you are good there. I personally have no experience with it, but I can’t imagine the extra 18 cc really gives you much more on the top end. Maybe there is a low end/acceleration benefit. Not sure. If your 70cc engine is still good and you are looking for a top speed increase, look at changing out your drive sprocket to one that has a higher tooth count.

It is a scooter because it is a step through a motorcycle hasa petrol tank between the headstock and.the seat

A scooter has no clutch. If it has a clutch, it is a step-through motorcycle

There are 3 criteria to observe in order to classify a motor powered cycle either a scooter or a motorcycle: tire height, gas tank location, and clutch configuration. Any 2 of the 3 criteria will determine the cycle classification. In the case of the Vespa, short wheels, tank under seat, but manual clutch. Since 2 of the 3 criteria for scooter are met, it is therefore a scooter. In my case, manual clutch, tall tires, tank under seat. 2 of the three criteria of a motorcycle are met, therefore it is a motorcycle.
