That’s a beast. US Land Cruiser 300 in a tuxedo 🎉. Smaller, yet a true beast on and off-road. This vehicle is not for the masses. It’s for those who want the capability and ability to do and go wherever and whenever. You can’t substitute quality for quantity or functionality for flash. The LX is the apex predator with no peers. 😮
The LX600 should be compared to Range Rover, not Escalades, Grand Wagoneer's, ect. It's not a human hauler, that's the TX. I owned a 22 and a 23. They're awesome.

The GX550 is not wider than the LX600. Lexus markets the GX550’s width with mirrors included at 83.22 inches meanwhile they market the LX’s width without mirrors at 78.3 inches. The old GX460’s width is 74.2 inches. The LX is bigger in every way compared to the GX. Lastly the LX’s with the AHC suspension is hydraulic. It’s not air suspension.
They do make the LX with captains chairs I was just in one the other day .

I have a 24 LX Luxury. Nothing in common with the Wagoneer. This is a luxury Land Cruiser. It's designed to last one million miles. You may never get 200,000 miles out of the Wagoneer. Whole different level of build quality.

Congratulations! I wish the US got the 3.3 twin turbo V6 diesel. In Eastern Europe where I live, people are getting LC300s and LXs with the diesel engine a lot more than gasoline b eacuse it has greatgas mileage and lots of torque.
They did away with KDSS (hydraulic), only have E-KDSS anymore, and it's not available on the LX for whatever reason. The OG hydraulic KDSS stops with the GX460 for Lexus. I don't think the LX570 had KDSS either, but the Landcruiser 200 variant did. I think the Landcruiser 300, which the LX600 is based on, has E-KDSS.

The Grand Wagoneer has a very lovely interior, but with regards to durability, reliability, build quality, and off road-specs, here is no comparison. The Jeep will be assigned to the garbage heap long before the Lexus

LX is awesome, good choice. Landcruiser and LX have 4 year waiting list in Europe and Asia. Trade it for the luxury trim in 2025. Just Remembe the Grand Wagoneer is not offroader. This is luxury offroader. Wagoneer is family hauler. Lexus is an incredible brand!!!

Grand wagoner is junk. We drove it and all the gadgets and gizmos have major lag. Quality was eh. The LX wasn’t as big as the exterior makes it appear. A lot of cabin noise from the motor. If you want to spend 100k on a good suv go caddi or Yukon Denali

Congrats! Nice truck. These are reliable to the moon and back at the expense of tech and toys. Less things to break. Great vehicle but I have a feeling you will be back in a Wagoneer due to better size and space.

It's a little bigger on the outside than it is on the inside when you compare the two. The biggest difference you'll notice in terms of size is that the LX is a few inches wider than the GX (3-4") or something like that. In some cases the GX has better legroom. The GX is a "large" midsize SUV whereas the LX is a "small" fullsize SUV, and that's because the LX as we know is the Landcruiser 300 and designed to go offroad and not be gigantic.
The GX550 is basically 3 inches shorter than the LX600

@@OldRoute66 yeah but the (subjective) problem is that the LX is 60-70% more expensive than a GX. When you compare the two vehicles, which are both VERY close in size, it's hard to see anywhere close to that difference in value. I can see the LX being 20k more than a GX at most. The LX bottom $93k trim has zero options you can add, so you need to spend $101k minimum on the premium (next tier up) if you want to add anything to the vehicle (HUD, sound system, adaptive suspension, better wheel/tire combo for comfort, blackout package, etc), which will take it up to $107k. Meanwhile you can get a GX460 new for $60-64k and it rides better and runs smoother than the LX600. Just to be clear, I like the LX (maybe biased Lexus fanboy), but I feel like it's expensive for what it gives you over the GX.

what about a grandhighlander all you would be missing out on is message chairs you get way more power in the grandhighlander than a grandwagoneer,not to mentions the reliability aspect way more reliable with the 6 speed transmission and even more space ,but this lexus is sweet too

Having a 6 speed in 2024 on a high end luxury car is unacceptable, and I'm a big Toyota fan.
Grand highlander has like 360 hp max. Grandwagoneer has like 500hp×..

@@Slythey Correct. Grand Highlander is 4300 pounds and 362 hp which is 11.8 pounds per HP or .084 HP per pound, however you want to look at it. Grand Wagoneer is 6412 and 510 hp which is 12.5 pounds per HP or .079 HP per pound. I was bored lol

I'm with you on the Grand Wagoneer route....we love the size, interior volume, and ride comfort of our '23 Wagoneer L with the air suspension...I'm sure the Lexus/Toyota is bulletproof reliability but I think I would've went with a Grand Wagoneer L Obsidian w/extended factory warranty 👍🏽

Nothing competes with it if you plan on keeping it…. Lexus is better than all the other brands mentioned in the video… unless you are leasing than it doesn’t ,after but for long ter, ownership you made the right choice.
