I’m in Missouri so our kids went back to school immediately in the fall. I will say while they were home we had a blast. Our state didn’t shut down like others tough. It did for awhile but my kids still hung out with their friends while out of school during the summer. About 2 months in we were ok, this is dumb, we are going outside. Everything seemed pretty normal here pretty quickly. Restaurants were closed but we did curb side. Maybe it was just being in a conservative state was the difference. All this blaming behavior issues on the pandemic seems weird to me. Being in an abusive household would be horrible of course.
It’s funny you said that about parents abusing their kids during the pandemic. I read somewhere that both of Scottie’s parents work in some capacity for the school system. That would mean they were all home last week during spring break. More time for a volatile situation to take place.

He was found hiding out about 2 minutes from his house. Alive and well. He managed to hide out/ live in an abandoned trailer and evade the search parties.

One kid is usually the scapegoat in abusive families like this. The other children may even be spared if they continue the same toward scapegoat.

There is a county highway garage just north and east of Hartford city. It is 11 miles away from Eaton.
