Thaks soooo much for posting this... I just made my first pouch watching your video! Needless to say I need a little bit more practice! LOL Thanks again and I love your videos and all the information that you share.!
I 10/10 recommend making this, even though I struggled 100% and had some technical problems along the way lol I am really happy with the outcome even with my first attempt
Just a suggestion, a walking foot made for your brand of sewing machine would make sewing the fleece easier as it feeds both fabrics together at the same time. Love your videos.
When you sew the outside and inside and outside together, it’s easier to remove the free arm and slip the pouch over it. And the stitching should be small straight stitches.
Thank u for the vid I am planning to get some sugar gliders soon and your vids rly help and u soulf have a lot more subs and views your vids are super help full 👍
I'm stumped. I'm a slow learner. So what confuses me, is where do the seams actually go? You sew them, and they're a straight edge. Then you flip the bag inside out. Shouldn't the seams still be on a straight edge, just inside? Please forgive me- your tutorial was extremely clear and the visuals were perfect- I just comprehend how this works... how does the seams become hidden?
Awesome Sugar Glider Mommy i had mine for a year i have them on TPG, SGS2 the same way you posted yours and BML. i’ve done all three because they aren’t picking on it. And now that i’m thinking about the only thing i’ve done different is that i got them a bigger cage for them about 3-4 weeks ago. i now kinda see them pick on it but not like they use to eat. so your saying no treats until the start to eat there staple.
Btw don’t make this for sugar gliders that can’t fly if that wasn’t already obvious because they may be able to climb out but it could loosen the strings from the fabric and they could hurt themselves in it
Then what do you use? They all have to be sewn so what do you mean by they can loosen it? And also what does flying have to do with it because they have to climb out of the pouch before they can fly? I am really confused.
Best mommy for your sugargliders. I cherish your channel so much! It's educational, and I am wondering about your opinion about this: would it be a good idea to own sugargliders while you are in college? I've been wanting to know, and I just really think you would know what to say, y'know? I asked an owner before, and what he said was sort of helpful, but not a thing I will do. He said that he kept his sugarglider in secret in his Sophomore year. I can never do that, because of my anxiety. I have really bad panic attacks and ugh. I can never do that- but I do want sugargliders while in college. Any advice??
Thank you! I have to say, if you have to hide them, then you should not keep them. If you get caught you will get into a whole lot of trouble and will have to rehome them anyway. Even when you can keep them, as a college student you have to think this through really, really well. You have so many responsibilities anyway and that's the age when you still develop so many relationships, you go out often and so on. If you stay at home most of the time and are allowed to keep them, then it's fine 😊 You have to invest a hour or more daily in bonding with them, cleaning their cage, making their food every month or so. Plus sometimes you get barkers and you can't keep them in a dorm, because they bark 5-10 times per night (my Lily is like that). I waited until I had my own place before purchasing suggies and I think that they were worth the wait. In the meantime you can do a whole lot of research and save up money for when you get them 😊
Truly you do a great job & do NOT need to apologize for anything.
I use this video every time I make pouches for my babies! No one else is so clear and thorough and they love the boxed corners!
I’m actually making some possum, sugar glider, koala and wombat pouches for the bush fires here in Australia:)

👍
Is it possible to add a zipper closure to this?
Yes, but they don't have ventilation so it's not recommended. There are however other tutorials on YT on how to sew a bonding pouch :-)

Sorry- cant* comprehend.
Cause once you flip the material it folds over the seam so hence it becomes ✨ invisible ✨
How do I find you on facebook?
Hi, Teresa! The link to our Facebook is in the description box :-)
Again, what materials did you used?
I used polar fleece.
hi what do i do if my gliders aren’t eat the staple diet i’ve done 3 different ones and they are t eating any of them😔
No snacks until they get used to eating their staple :-) What did you add to the mix?
