*Lures looks very realistic even prunked my friends with it.Looks very durable **enjoyable.fishing** recommend sunk very good into the water.Cons: Storage package could be bigger.*
Just watched your electronics video loved it a lot of us can't afford that stuff so I would like to see someone doing it on the cheap!! This is the 3rd video I've watched and just hit the sub button! Love spinning
That was a hot method of catching them deep on clear water lakes in the eighties. Guess I'll get my one ouncer's back out. Thanks for the reminder Todd.
funny I do this all the time with my spinners an get special spinners that allow me to slow roll them an they usually get crushed back to back when they want that presentation. Its def very effective an can land some good size fish as well so I def agree. An especially when most people now in days when they use spinners they just straight crank them in or reeling them pretty fast an I think fish get used to that so I think slow rolling def helps in those situations.
Great detailed information and terrific on the water execution and success. I agree that with a long cast combined with deep water and an extremely slow reacting bait to the hookset that your rod recommendation is super key along with a bit wider reel choice. Looked to me like Jason's rod was a bit light. I shared the video with my crew, hoping to get you some more subscribers.
First time on your channel Todd! Good information! I have always been a fan of a heavy Hooksett and a heavier Rod to accomplish it. But sometimes it's hard to convince others that that is the way to go.
Todd, I need a tip video on the buzz bait man!!!!! My buzz bait always lays on its side, never seems to run straight! Everyone talks about it being the end all be all of topwater and I can’t get a blow up with the darn thing!!!! Brian in SC
Before I knew what I was doing, I tied on a small booyah buzz bait with a 3 in kyteck paddle tail and just swam it back to the boat. I still use it to this day. It has such a realistic look and gets big bites. Try it sometime, and thank me later..
Excellent video absolutely fantastic , I have been using XX heavy fast action rod for spinnerbait my hole life especially the falcon when I still use to live back in Africa 💪👍👌 please do a full review on the falcon rod you use for the spinnerbaits thanks
You should talk about flooded lakes in the summer since Rayburn is so high. I’ve been ripping them pitching brush and slow rolling chatterbaits in tight lanes around the flooded brush. We wore them out twice this week practicing for rusty young tournament but today was sunny and only got 11lbs. I’ll take all the advice I can get for Rayburn right now...kinda one sided with it so high.
Man i love rolling a spinnerbait around,my buddy throws a big blade on a 3.8:1 curado and when they eating it,it is usually some bigguns,i just can't throw a reel that slow lil,its hard to keep up with those big girls, fun way to catch em,thanks for sharing, don't hear much about a spinnerbait anymore with chadderbait around
As much as I love a spinnerbait, I’ve never fished one deeper than about six feet. This will change. Thanks for the tips. Y’all had any plastic on them dwellers?
That super duty is a 8:3:1 ratio so it’s pretty fast but it’s very easy on a big reel like that to just reel slower. It’s different than cranking so I’d rather slow down than keep the same pace with say. 5:1 or 6:1

Oh Yeah, slowrolling deep holes with giant chopper blades thumping the rod tip is where it's at!!
You nailed it man! I been doing this for years and it will get you a kicker sometimes when nothing else will. Great show man!
Another great video 📹
Thank you
Great Info and solid details

Awesome, Thanks for the video!! Loving the tips
When if ever do you use Colorado blades?
That was a hot method of catching them deep on clear water lakes in the eighties. Guess I'll get my one ouncer's back out. Thanks for the reminder Todd.
It’s still good in those clear lakes but you can fish them way deep, 30 and 40 feet
Enjoyed the video just subscribed 👍
Did you trim the skirt ? I saw a lot of comments of where people had problems with the skirt getting stuck on the blades
Yea the bottom dweller did get caught up a bunch
Struggling with ledge fishing man. Would love to see how you find the right ledges, approach it and favorite baits
We throw spinnerbaits on brush piles, just barely missing the top of the pile and they hit it good this way.
Yea that’s killer

Nope just leave them like they are
@@toddcastledinefishing5924 thanks brother man.
Hey todd love the videos what Cara rod is that you are using for those spinnerbaits.
No bite compares to slow rolling a big spinnerbait deep and then the bait disappears cause a hawg knocked 5 foot of slack in it.
True
@@toddcastledinefishing5924 I know you fish Alabama a good bit I was wondering if you ever fished the black warrior river?
Maybe I missed it but does he use a trailer or trailer hook?
No trailer hook to much junk
Show how u go about graphing deep show how u go about driving over points
Yea I need to do one for sure
Works at night as well
Man I havnt night fished in years
The hotter it gets then the fish sink down into the pile and that's when the big ten inch worm comes into play.
reel ?
What about it?
@@toddcastledinefishing5924 what ratio do you use for this ? i didnt hear you say it in the vid , sorry if you did and i missed it
Wondering the same.

What’s the name of the spinner bait you use?
Trailer no trailer? Trailer hook no trailer hook?
Trailer (hook). Always.
Great info on your gear. Do more of that for other baits you use. Really enjoyed the series on co-anglers.
