- Peglin Part 79 - legend has it something happens if you win a run with the Alien's Rock relic. Well, I would finally need to win a run with the Spinventor in order for that. Is today the day?

The slime pocket doesn't take damage by hitting the slimedrops. It takes damage by CREATING slimedrops.
Interesting fact: some slime gets stronger if the peg it is applied to gets upgraded, and even more when downgraded. For example, healing slime heals more, and double damage gets more damage

@@malcolmw121 I mean exactly what I wrote down. When the peg is +10 healing slime heals 2, when the slimed peg is -10 it (as I know) heals 4

I don't think you noticed it, but every 10 damage that you upgrade the healing slime, it adds another healing. So 0-9 it heals for 1, 10-19 it heals for 2, 20-29 it heals for 3, etc. You were at full health in the fight at 16:46 because you had 36 damage on that healing slime and were healing for 4 every time you hit it.

Thanks for the Peglin upload. You introduced me to this game, and I'm almost finished on beating Cruciball 20 on every character now. I only need the basic Peglin, and he's at level 20.
ayyy i'm almost finished too! i just need cruciball 19 and 20 on roundrel. who was your toughest character? it's been roundrel for me cause i suck with shield builds
@@parmesan6133 roundrel was definitely the hardest for me as well. Lots of attempts in 19 and 20.
I finally beat it by getting Crit + debuff + ballusion synergy going, but it was tough.
Balladin was easiest
Spinventor was second easiest.
Peglin was third easiest, but it's gotten easier now as I've honed in on multiball bomb strats.

In case you didn't know, I just recently found out that when you take the Alien's Rock, you know how after the run it says "new relics unlocked for custom mode"? The Icon for Alien's Rock there isn't the same as in the run but is instead a pixel image of Tyler! I found that pretty funny when I saw it

At 8:55; This is precisely what I meant by an earlier comment. Orbs like Balleviation are merely okay by themselves, but the balleviation slime existing in the game is a huge buff to Prime Slime and Potion Ballt. You don't take the double damage slime either; but it still benefits you thanks to Prime Slime here.
Tyler they changed "Constricting Chains" relic so that you get +1 Multiball! while yes you'll still have to choose 4 directions but that +1 mulitball helps imo!
The Robert Frost mention got me.
8:56 I think you give yourself damage reduction so the 1 damage attack from the spider did 0. It also says dodge when you have the oboe since 1 turns to 0.

I finished Cruciball 20 with the Spinventor the other day. Get ready for a challenge, cause all of those above 15 are really hard!
Him skipping the heavy orb that targets anyone and activates one thing multiple times (beautiful synergy) caused me PHYSICAL PAIN
For the 2 enemies you are missing, one is the QR code, a boss you have battled many times before the update, and the other is a super secret enemy.
Also maybe try the cruciballs above 15, as I think you have those on the default Peglin.

5:58 you applied a slime that reduces damage by 1 point for that round of enemy attacks. Those spiders deal 1 damage. The game counts it as a miss instead of 0 damage
I feel like a good fix to the slime multiball would be "can't activate slime pegs"

An Item Idea:
On every reload: -5 HP, then +1 HP per orb and +1 HP per UNIQUE orb (So 5 of the same orb heals 6 and 5 orbs with no repeats would heal 10)
Potion ballt gets way better with the relic that gives +5 to slimed pegs. Goes from inconsistent support to busted every time

Potion Ballt met the unfortunate fate of being pretty good and getting so heavily nerfed that it just becomes garbage. its whole purpose was lots of random slime, but it can hardly do that now with "once per battle" and cant even deal any damage. I think it used to be able to gain damage from any relic? I dont remember.

funnily enough, there's this ONE peg that wasn't hit in the entire dragon fight. check it, between 3rd and 4th bumper (of last stage of drake fight) right in the middle of that group of pegs.
That peg got hit multiple times. It looks like the game just removed the extra refresh damage from it near the end.
I feel like people focus so much on summoning circle but forget opposite rearction, they do they same thing basically but have slightly different pros and cons
In my experience against the slime sack, it is better to tank the weak slimes and try to kill the sack fast, especially when you can heal without coins.
Rubborb should get some type of stat synergy with slime, like hitting a slimed peg doesn't remove the slime from the peg
Just seems like Rubborb is fun but never really worth it

Potion Ballt is horribly overnerfed, it's 0/0 AND it cannot deal damage AND you can only use it once per fight AND slime disappears after you pop the peg anyway.

Been watching since the bloons days, and while I agree he has “cleaned up” his videos (I mean, he literally used to go by dildobike), I think his newer content is really good. The editing is way better, and you can tell he’s more comfortable in front of a camera than 5 years ago. As long as he’s happy with the content he’s putting out, I’ll support him
