I have watched a few f your videos now. Sounds like most of my VBlood problems can be solved by using Chaos Dash and Chaos Bolt lol this is helpful

That's actually pretty smart, thanks for sharing! Kiting is usually the last thing that comes to my mind when I have a wide variety of otherwise excellent melee weapons.
Oh and I saw that you haven't hunted down the Putrid Rat yet, he can be summoned from the rat nests you can build.

I believe the names of the skills are, chaos veil (the dash which you get from Clive the firestarter), chaos volley (the projectiles, you get from Lydia the chaos archer), and corpse explosion (which you get from Goreswine the ravager). If you follow the list of bosses downwards you will have them all before Tristian.

Good show mate. I got him by jousting him back and forth and horseback all night long. It was tedious and I was one hit from dying but it worked.

I used a mount to get him down a decent amount. Unluck got dismounted. I killed him in the sun using xbow, chaos travel and spell dmg. But delayed "feed" and didn't get the power.
You say you've seen him take down groups, but that's because enemy health, damage, and even their moveset scales to groups..

Research with either books (found from drops) or use paper (RNG though)

terrible boss design wise. He keeps running away at low health and healing his HP back to 100%. Such massive bullshit.
It sounds like you're kiting him too far. There's a maximum range from the point you agro him then he'll reset. Try dash through him to keep him close to the initial point of aggro. It's understandable to think that he'll follow you around the map on account of him patrolling but this isn't the case - once he gets into combat he'll always reset to his original position
