Bella married her childhood friend Mortimer in the lore. They were best friends in Sims 2. My guess is they are based on Gomez and Mortacia Adams, kinda creepy goths that are totally and deeply in love. Cute vibes all round.

@Lucyn I mean, the odds of that are high even if the 'canon' of Sims 4 says they are. Unless Bella really took a youth potion or something, she would have been too young to have Cassandra, much less Alexander. Cassie at least has some of her facial features but it ends there :/
I like the makeovers overall, but I would've kept Cassandra's hair as black and give her darker glasses. I do see the goth vibe, it's in the name, but I see her more as a serious, studious, dark girl. I'm also so glad you didn't give Mortimer a full beard, because the mustache is too iconic. But his outfit is too modern. I think a campy, Addams family feel is more his vibe.
I wish they all gave off more goth. They seemed very… dulled down? After the makeover. More of the modern e-girl stuff. It’s a little upsetting
I wish they also would of kept Bella goth short red dress. It's one of the few details about her in every game that stays the same

I completely deleted them, and started a whole legacy challenge, trying to recreate the family, with all their ancestors and family connections, they have had from Sims 2 and 3. It's rather fun.

Bella and Mortimer are actually supposed to be the same age, they were best friends since childhood. But for some reason they changed their ages like that in sims 4 idk why. Whenever I give them makeovers I just make Bella an adult which also makes more sense with Cassandra being a teen already.
The lore is that bella’s husband (I forgot his name) gave her an age down potion

Um YES. Townie makeovers are always amazing to watch and with Clare, the godess of CC no less! You NEED to do the Villerials next, I need to see it! Also Clare, your bug were you can't see the scroll bar or some of the swatches is a bug in my game too, if you want to fix it you need to hit the button in the top left corner, it changes and cuts off part of the screen when you mess with that genetic panel.

If I remember correctly, Bella was best friends with Mortimer when they were kids, since the sims 3 takes place when they were kids and she was just Bella Bachelor and when Mortimer was just the quiet kid of that rich grumpy guy and one of the Crumplebottom sisters. They’re the same age, so to see Clair refer to Mortimer as “old” or have the idea that Bella married for money is absolutely hilarious 🤣

I think if Clare gives a makeover to all the npc families she should save them to her gallery and whenever she starts a new save file she can replace them so we can see the hot npc around the place! Like so Clare can see!

You forgot Bella's wedding ring!! And on the topic of marrying for money, apparently it's VERY hard to make them cheat on each other in-game, like Mortimer is VERY devoted to her, and even she won't be tempted, so I don't actually think that's the case--or, if it is, she grew to love him. Because they are the most devoted couple in-game.
That makes sense since they're based on the Addams family, and Morticia and Gomez are very devoted.
Although my sim got Mortimer to cheat and divorce pretty quickly, but she did have traits that made it easier for her

Mortimor Goth or Johnny Depp. Lmao. Loved Bella’s dress, but not with her accessories. The watch felt random. Loved everything about Alexander. Cassandra felt more dark academia than emo girl. I think the Goths are a twist on the Addams family. I always dress Cassandra like an emo Wednesday.

Hi Clare can’t wait for future makeovers , i think you should do Villareal’s next (specially for max). Or you could do the Landgrab’s .
I like the tweaks you do to the faces that make them resemble actual humans more (chin,eyes etc) and that give them back some of the personality from the older versions they lost along the way
Don't be afraid to keep doing that because in the video you always give great explanation as to why or the vibe you're going for like with Bella giving her back a lil bit of that cheeky face
I feel with Sims as new games kept being made most npc's lost a lot of unique looks and became more ''bland'' to please the masses
