- I think Tears For Fears have some really interesting guitar parts in their songs. The riffs and solos in this one are killer and the song itself is a personal favourite of mine.

That was just f💥ck’n insane! One of my favourite TFF tracks and you just nailed Roland’s guitar progressions perfectly! He has a guitar brilliance in his phrasing. It must be hugely satisfying to listen to a track, watch how the artist plays it and then to translate it into your own playing, across the frets. I know that song so well so I was watching for each new change up and you delivered on everything! It was a master class! Thanks for posting. Your tracks have been a revisit and a reminder and a revelation, since I discovered your channel a few days ago. 👍😎💥🎸🍺🍺🍀 (But I wish that the lights were up just a little, so that I could clearly see where you were going with your playing! 😉 )
This video is almost 10 years old when no one would be watching my vids so I naively didn't care with the lighting too much, but I try to do better these days.

Great playing and tone. This the closest to the real thing I've seen and heard. I've listened, and watched videos of them playing it live and few people get the intro and middle part correct the way the guy in TFF plays it. Most go for the A and F# on the G and B strings. Which I think the way the other guitarist plays it? Thank you for posting.

@@EphemeralProductions It's hard to explain, but the windup helps him time his 'jump' back into the song & makes the chord sound better when he strums it. On tape it would blend both guitars better & trick your ear into thinking there was movement when there really wasn't. Hope that makes sense. ✌
