Out of all those Turbo chewing gum exotics and later posters of my childhood in post communist Romania, the Barchetta was always special. I later moved to California where I drove multiple roadsters and where I still own an '09 Z4. But the Barchetta kept lingering so last summer I bought one for vacations in Europe. So far it's been all I ever wanted from it. A future classic.
Great interview. I agree, the original front design is much lighter and balanced than the restyled one. I miss such great and pure designs in today's automotive landscape.
