The main thing with burning treated wood, is that the chemicals will create a lot of creosote buildup in the flue/chimney. Not an issue if it is swept regularly. Not sure about the health issues, but a failed/failing door seal will only draw in more uncontrolled air and will burn much faster 👍
New an old fencer who only burnt old fencing,the fella drunk like a fish and chain smoked roll ups made from cheap pipe tobacco! Was physically active till he was 96! Didn't get cancer but had a heart attack! If your chimney is drawing properly you should be ok!
