    Personally I eat very little carb, lots of veges, dal, salad, fish/meat/egg.
    I love this way.
    But those who can't control their portion your system will help them immensely.

    Luke my lunch consists of roti sabzi dal salad curd. I understand salad has to be eaten first. But is it ok to eat roti sabzi dal and then curd?

      Avoid having Raw Salads. Steam/Saute/Boil them except Onions, according to Ayurveda science Onions can be taken raw with Lemon juice on top of them. Curd is beneficial whether to be eaten before or after but do add some honey in it.😊

    This is great information Luke! Big fan of yours from Canada. Fully convinced with your suggested order but how do you practice with typical staple Indian diet? For example if you have Roti, cooked Sabzi and Chic peas stew. Raw salad->cooked subs->chic peas stew (protein)->Roti. How do you eat Roti then, On it’s own plain? It fits very well with western diet as they eat Bread on side but our habits are different, eating carbs together veg or proteins. Looking for your suggestions as willing to alter my eating habits.       Hi kamal... Pure jaggery is completely different from sugar.. Its sweet, but has all the essential minerals and vitamins in it.. You can have it in lunch but in moderation..

    We South indians mix sabzi with rice and eat. Can we mix it with sabzi and rice mixed with (sambar Or rasam) Or else we should eat sabzi first and then followed with protein and rice.

      Hi.. Fruit is not advisable with meals, as it digest easily and faster.. So mixing fruit with meal will create acidity.. Have fruits as breakfast or before breakfast.. Or as snack in between meals if you want
