Drop G on a 7 is essentially D standard tuning with an added low G... so you can play most LS lead parts on a 6 string tuned to D standard

Song’s in drop G, tune every string a whole step down. Strings 1-6 are correct. I’m not certain if this solo even utilizes the seventh string at all.

Drop C on a six string works. There's tabs for it on songsterr. It's not a super hard solo if you know how to sweep.
