Well , technically any rangefinder can be accurate if you sight it in to that rangefinder and use that one alone. For example if I sight in with a rangefinder that is telling me 15 yards is actually 20 well I sighted in to what it is saying so it wont be off.
I just watched another video on this range finder and a guy has a very expensive one and this one and he compared them both and he said tidewe is more accurate then the expensive one
I wish someone would take a minute or three to measure out 1000 yards to check accuracy
Seems like other reviewers just assume it is accurate
