Yes, voice isolation has been a game changer for me. I've been able to take some video that had noise reduction applied to it unsuccessfully and completely removed the noise using V isolation... I'm blown away!
yeah, i have worked on a few projects from the past where this would have been super useful. I remember one that had two people working for a week to try and remove an air con buzz, now it would take two seconds.
