@@riversurflab I was curious if you could review the newer Hala Peno, you reviewed the older one a while ago, the newer Peno has that 2" step-down style inflatable rail. And there isn't anyone out there that has reviewed if those rails really make a difference. Thanks!
@@cutter5733 I did a long term demo of the new Peno when it first came out. I’ll have to see if they’ve made any changes to it since. I felt like the thickness was overkill and made the board feel too corky. As far as the rails, I think they’re a great idea but it’s hard to tell the difference on the mushy, foamy waves that it works best in. It still felt like it was turning around the fins rather than using the rails to carve. If there’s a new version, I’ll give it a look!
Welcome back! Could you review some high volume boards for mushy midwest waves? Thanks!
Do you have any particular boards in mind? There aren’t a lot of options out there that are high volume and short enough for the river

Stoked you’re back! We need these reviews as they’re super helpful when picking out a board. Can you do the lib tech whirlpool?
Yep! I had a 5'4" Whirlpool for part of last year, but decided it was too big for me. My plan is to pick up a 5'2" version this year.
