Flamu you say medium range, what is consider medium 10-15km? 8-12km? Can you clarify. BTW on the topic what is consider close medium and long range in this game in km term. I hear this all the time but does not know?
I have difficulties to win with this ship. If i play like u do, my team doesn't do anything. If i play more agressiv at close range (to use radar at the beginning) i win but not a lot of dmg. What do u suggest?
Silly question but wouldn't it actually make more sense to wait for the new cruisers to come out when you get to tier 9 since you say they're OP? Or do we get them for free if we already grinded out the tech tree?

"Moskvas weaknesses are carriers in general"... Ahhh I remember my first experience with T10 APDBs. Moving toward flank in my Moskva, DBs spotted. Ehh, whatever, some chip damage maybe a fire nbd. Boy was I wrong. 100-0ed through DEFAA with AFT. 65k gone with a Midway autodrop. I was speechless.
Midway has HE DBs. Hak has AP, but even then 3 cits won't do enough damage to kill you outright. It's like 8600 dmg/cit on those, so at best it'd take 3 drops of 3 cits each to kill you from full health.
Moskva is just like the Venezia - a ship that’s not for everyone. Both Moskva and Venezia have great guns and decent armour, but their slow reload and huge citidels really put a tough test on the player’s skill. Still, I would argue that Moskva and Venezia are the two most powerful cruisers in the current version of the game, if and only if they are played correctly, and that’s not an easy thing to do.
If you have that mission available, yes, do it. Moskva with the slot 3 aiming and unique upgrade usually lands 6+ out of 9 shells fired at bb's at 19km, if your aim is good, or the bb is stationary/backing up (an easy shot). We laugh at these "dispersion conspiracies". (there is still dispersion, but it's so small compared to any other ship...)
Hey flamu, longtime viewer here. It's been a long time since I've seen anyone do a guide on the yamato, I've seen a lot of commentary on the montana and the kremlin, but since the carrier rework and the introduction of the smolensk I've gone from ~55% win rate in the Yama to around 43%. I can do well in other tier 10s but I feel so lost in the Yamato. I don't know if you do requests but I'd love to see an update on the yama. Thanks!
I Love love love my moskva these days. It is like an island of confidence for your team, I notice that it inspires a lot of confidence in your teammates around you when you play it well.
This is my favorite ship in the game. Super easy to get at least 100k damage and with a little more skill, have a meaningful impact on the game. It's also easy to snipe DDs at 10-14 km which is always fun. Only tweak is that it should have better concealment than Kremlin
in my play through, if you were forced into a nose in with a DM, you can actually try to shoot its turret, with good shell velocity and accuracy, you can quite consistently destroy one of its front turret and mostly they will get scared and back off
It's kinda funny how Flamu encourage you not to tank, while in fact you end up tanking anyway, because your fellow BB comrades tend to love mapborder xD
Don't forget, the Moskwa has the same citadel weakness as the Yamato. Meaning, if you are angled but can still use all your guns, you can be citadelled (although unlikely, besides close quarters, where it's quite common for me to do that in my Hindenburg).
Here is something that is also so much fun on the Moskva: Battleships pushing in around a corner to get you because you are "just a cruiser" with no torps. While grinding the legendary I had two Musashis and a Yamato doing that and regretting it in the same 24 hours...
Iam fully agree with the statement, that this is one of the most difficult handled CAs in game. And it can be very powerful, the strenghts are good shown in this vid and the speak about weaknesses this ship has. But in the current Meta and especially if you play solo random it gets some issues, vulnerable to HE and strong AP caliber from BBs, if they hit your superstructure they can easy hit you with 6 - 12k dmg equal if you bow on (RNG makes it possible). I say its an unforgiving ship, no mistakes allowed for almost flanks only ( no center part ship) and it hates crossfire and its very hard to escape when in position due to the big Citadel. Iam a good player but i have a hard time grind the legendary, cause of the special playstyle, the legendary random potato playerbase and Bad Meta for this ship. I was at 110k average and its going down to 91k, its really a position and rng depndent ship. Its more a Clanbattle ship , you need to have support to perform good (or at least than a 3er divi) and for this it makes it in random very unattractive. And for this i prefer kiting ships like Hindi and Zao.

Bought Yoshino and loved the super cruiser gameplay. Farmed FXP for Alaska and loved her too. Than i went for Moskva and i loved her too. I rly like this hybrid role of a cruiser that can work in some moments as a tank with big dmg potential. I rly enjoy playin these super cruisers
I enjoy one shotting these cruisers with battleships like the Montana or the yamato because they think they have turtleback armour and won't get citadeled.

Moskva has always been vulnerable to planes because its so often stationary and is easy to citadel with AP bombers, even the RTS days. This is also why Stalingrad is less powerful in random battles than it is in clan battles because its just as vulnerable to CV.
I like how according to the game the velocity of guns ranges somewhere between 700 and 1000 m/sec. But if we look at the numbers at 16:50 we see 7.69 sec for 15.94 km. On my book thats an average(!) shell speed of 1,886 m/sec. That's no more high velocity but hypervelocity.
The game is speed up like 2.5 / 2.8 times or smth compared to real life values. This includes as far I know: Ship speed Shell and Torpedoes Planes and ther cargo ( bombs and torps) And ofc ship handling is vastly improved so is acceleration and deceleration. While reload and turret traverse time are pretty much real life values +/- some degree of gameplay enjoyment enchantments. Cheers Thel

The only Problem is the braindead Playerbase... If you play so far back in the Moskwa, the only thing that will tank is your Karmapoints... People will report you left, right and center for not suiciding to get one radar off...

I wish they would buff DFAA and AA related modules...it's really annoying that unless I am in a AA platoon enemy squadrons just don't care. At least in the old CV gameplay DFAA would lower their accuracy, which could directly contribute to you mitigating damage even if they got through.
Hi flamu..always enjoy your video..i have suggestion for you..how if you post a analysis video in youtube about your gameplay that still can consider as a good game but in that game you had a lot of disadvantage..for the example in moskva you miss positioning so you become a target from multiple bb..or you got spam by cruiser..or you in wrong side of map so you have only limited target because nobody spot for you..or maybe a game when you only score 80k-100k damaged because cv targeting you that make you always get spotted by the enemy and what you can do is kiting..in the video you can give advice for us what is the best solution or to do in that situation..
Start applying all the flags friend. I went from tier 7 to t9 since I made this message. Current impressions of the line right now is that the 12km radar is a godsend. You can light things up from safer ranges and have high velocity guns that decimate agile opponents.

What I've noticed with Flamu and Flambass is that they have some pretty good map awareness, and when it comes to aiming and shooting they hardly ever miss. For example, I feel like you that I feel like I'm doing what they're doing, but I miss some shots that they would make which makes the difference
Because Moskva is ridiculously different to the ships that precede her, probably the most egregious case of it in any tech tree. You try to play a Donskoi like this, you will get annihilated.
For us who all ready have it with LG mod and perm camo , how WG will rewards us? Free replacement equal to T10 replacement + perm camo or ? Any ideas Flams?
Been out of the WOWS loop well over 18 months now. When this becomes "special ship" will it have as good economy bonuses as other premiums? I love this ship and would enjoy coming back to her.
No like he said in this video, there is not really a T10 premium economy bonus, you will get the camo and that all. However when she became "premium" you will be able to cycle Kusnetsov on her.
Special ships don't tend to have any economy bonuses, but they usually come with permanent camo that might give various bonuses. In this case I expect that players who'll buy Moskva from the Armory will get permanent camo on it. And I predict that players who already have Moskva in their port will either get permanent camo for free or through some mission/event. (These are my predictions according to how similar situations have been handled in the past, WG has not yet conformed this info yet)

I hate that most about the Moskva. I lose so much hp just moving into position at the start of battle. I really have to start taking the long route places -- makes me feel like I'm in a BB a lot of the time.
I don't understand how I get such a different experience with this ship. Every time I get spotted ALL enemies turn their tails and get out of my firing range. It's bizarre saying that about a ship with 20km range. What the fuck is happening to me?

Since you have played the moskva a while now, I think you will love the Stalingrad much better as the play style is almost same. Not that Bourgogne is a bad ship but I’m pretty sure you will like Stalingrad better. Stalingrad is a blessed ship man.
Same here man, I main her in CBs, she is more versatile and tankier than Stalingrad but does not have the BB level AP penetration, DDs fear the Moskva more, but they play almost identically.

was able to get the Moskva thanks to some good luck with crates and such. And i relay like her from the few games I've played in her (miscounted how much silver i needed so i can play her a lot atm XD).
Im still looking for this "awesome" AP. Maybe just CC's get this special rare Ammo, my Moskva dont have this. My Moskva is just working with full HE. AP on Flatbroadside is less effective than with HE with different targets.
if we consider the previous patches where ships got introduced it should be in about 3 patches. But it ofc depends if wg needs more time to balance those russian cruisers *loughs in russian bias*

I find that if there's any ship that plays in a similar way to _Moskva,_ it's _Yamato._ Well, and the two similar playing T9 Japanese BBs.

Now i see why the hindy is considered a ap demon. My hindy woulda done consistant 8k volleys to that broadside rich. While flamu did like 2, 3, 4k.

The graphics look really differetn from when I'm playing it on my laptop? Are you using some graghical enhancing mod?

Start applying all the flags friend. I went from tier 7 to t9 since I made this message. Current impressions of the line right now is that the 12km radar is a godsend. You can light things up from safer ranges and have high velocity guns that decimate agile opponents.

How come I feel like Im doing the same shit Flolo is doing here but Im only doing maybe 90k - 110k. HE just casually pulls my best damage in the ship
What I've noticed with Flamu and Flambass is that they have some pretty good map awareness, and when it comes to aiming and shooting they hardly ever miss.
For example, I feel like you that I feel like I'm doing what they're doing, but I miss some shots that they would make which makes the difference
I managed to grind the ship over this weekend from T6, but I can't find anywhere the detail about the Legendary Module you are speaking about.

Because Moskva is ridiculously different to the ships that precede her, probably the most egregious case of it in any tech tree. You try to play a Donskoi like this, you will get annihilated.

Been out of the WOWS loop well over 18 months now. When this becomes "special ship" will it have as good economy bonuses as other premiums? I love this ship and would enjoy coming back to her.
No like he said in this video, there is not really a T10 premium economy bonus, you will get the camo and that all. However when she became "premium" you will be able to cycle Kusnetsov on her.
Special ships don't tend to have any economy bonuses, but they usually come with permanent camo that might give various bonuses. In this case I expect that players who'll buy Moskva from the Armory will get permanent camo on it. And I predict that players who already have Moskva in their port will either get permanent camo for free or through some mission/event.
(These are my predictions according to how similar situations have been handled in the past, WG has not yet conformed this info yet)

Can’t count how many times I catch a Moskva moving into her positions. 2,3 citadels but she just shrugged it off. Bc reasons… this thing got 70k hp.
I hate that most about the Moskva. I lose so much hp just moving into position at the start of battle. I really have to start taking the long route places -- makes me feel like I'm in a BB a lot of the time.
I don't understand how I get such a different experience with this ship. Every time I get spotted ALL enemies turn their tails and get out of my firing range. It's bizarre saying that about a ship with 20km range. What the fuck is happening to me?

Since you have played the moskva a while now, I think you will love the Stalingrad much better as the play style is almost same. Not that Bourgogne is a bad ship but I’m pretty sure you will like Stalingrad better. Stalingrad is a blessed ship man.

Same here man, I main her in CBs, she is more versatile and tankier than Stalingrad but does not have the BB level AP penetration, DDs fear the Moskva more, but they play almost identically.

@@dinjoe828 Hey, great piece of advice! I was in doubt as I want a hard-hitting ship. I see Stalingrad like a "light BB" and Bourgogne as a "heavy super-cruiser". Regarding ships, I like some agility and reasonable rate of fire with "tankiness" 😄

was able to get the Moskva thanks to some good luck with crates and such. And i relay like her from the few games I've played in her (miscounted how much silver i needed so i can play her a lot atm XD).
Im still looking for this "awesome" AP. Maybe just CC's get this special rare Ammo, my Moskva dont have this. My Moskva is just working with full HE. AP on Flatbroadside is less effective than with HE with different targets.

Most likely when they decide to implement the new Russian line so in short we don't know
if we consider the previous patches where ships got introduced it should be in about 3 patches. But it ofc depends if wg needs more time to balance those russian cruisers *loughs in russian bias*

I am here to see how to play this boat. I only just got and it is my very 1st tier 10....(its for free, right)..I can tell you now, it doesn't have the extended time on radar in slot 2 anymore, also the heavy weight guns in the last slot, is no longer available
