Living in the USA, I can get cigar boxes for anywhere from $1 to $4. My usual build is a 4-string, 25.5" scale, fully fretted (all 24), oak neck CBG with various types of humbuckers, which can cost me around $130 to $140 to build, and I price at $360+. However, here lately I've been building basically the same setup, but with a 20" pentatonic blues scale (10 frets) and a flatwound surface mounted humbucker, hinge bridge, and a bolt bridge. My cost is roughly $100, and I'll price them at $250. My time and materials are substantially less.

Podcast coming back? Excellent!!!
Good, but would like to hear it. Thank you.
Ever thought of removing the lid (since it won’t be seen) and replacing with some ply and then using it as a top of another build?
The art is still there it’s just facing the player that’s all. Also keeps the art with the guitar but I take your point.
How can I help?
