Spending more money on a electric bike doesn’t necessarily get you a better electric bike. Macfox-X1 is a very good budget electric bike and I would prefer buying that all day any day over a overpriced Super73-RX. On a electric bike tier list, Macfox-X1 would go to B while Super73-RX is going to E.
I put Shinko 241 tires on both of my FreeGo dk 200. The 3.00 x 16” tire fits on the 20” rim with minimal centering the ride is much better and no more flat tires! 1200 miles and show no wear, very pleased
That looks like a good way to start and do a kitt for a 72V 👍😎. Plenty of space for a big battery too.. A donation frame to piece together a bunch of aftermarket stuff. Why start with a $2,000 bike if your going to change out everything anyway? Good cheap start there. That is, if you like working on bikes and building your own. Also could do it as a dual 750 motor bike with dual 25 ah batteries.
I've been looking at this bike for a while. On their website, you can add a battery, fenders, and bag, and the total price is about $1,200. Loved your review. Love the style of the bike. I have a folding Lectric ebike now, I've been researching Ebikes for over a year. I want to upgrade my ebike. I don't need full suspension on an ebike, I just need front suspension. I've been looking at the Ride up Revv1 hardtail. Love your channel.😊
Hey man just following up to see if you made your purchase yet! I'm in the market for my 1st e-bike and have been looking for months now. With trying to keep my budget under $1500 I think this might be the one I go with. Any insight here?
Seems okay, but for the same price I'd take the Jansno x50. More power, torque, higher top speed, rear light with brake light and turn signals front and rear, full suspension, horn, fenders etc...
I got my Super73 z1 used for $600 and love it. This bike seems pretty similar. I did swap the controller and battery to a 48v system which made a huge difference!
I bought two of them. One out of the box has been great. Now, the other has been a disaster. Issue one - front wheel threads came stripped (they replaced it), issue two - ordered the taillight but never received it from original order (they sent me the replacement), bit now that it's finally put together the display is showing an error code E001. There's NO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO CONTACT!!! I now have an $1100 dust collector. These were bought as Christmas gifts for my son's, but now it looks like I won't have one ready for Christmas. Super disappointed....
What up sir!🤙Love the channel! Have a budget of $1000-$1600 max. What can you recommend at that price point? Seems like all the best ones are $1800+ (revv1 & c3strom).
I really wanted 1 of these bikes had the money in my account ready to go goes to the checkout out to only find out they only ship within the USA & I'm in the UK 🇬🇧 & there is not shipping to the uk super peed off about them not shipping to the uk 😢
👍🏽⚡️ very interesting. It’s very funny. I just acquired a Hurley Big Swell bike last night. Somebody wanted to trade me for my Dyu t1, great trade, i’m liking these style, bikes, more and more
Not bad for the price for a starter I’ve gotten to where I’m 1st looking at frame design for 72v conversion like the Rev But next bulid will probably be a bomber style since I’ve already got a couple bikes and a pile of parts to make a couple more
for 400 more dollars you can get an EUYbike S4 with a 1000w motor, fenders, seat extension, twist throttle, head/tail lights, pump for tires, and massive long range battery.
What's your opinion on putting slim in ebike or scooter tires for preventative maintenance? I like that bike too but not enough power. Great price though...
I just put a slime filled tube in my rear tire because I was sick of the frequent flats (Or my poor patchwork failing). It’s noticeably heavily than a standard tube. One thing worth noting is you can’t check the tire pressure after it has slime in it. Your meter will just get clogged with slime and you won’t get a reading. So I’m left to assume the correct way to pump these up is with a device that can tell you the current pressure as you initially fill them. The tube is also a 1time use type deal after. Might be able to reuse it once but definitely not more than that. The slime will have dried up by then.
Yeah, good start to make a nice dual motor bike. Even with 2 of the 750 motors 48V .. Put in a couple 25ah batteries and a thumb front throttle pretty easy. Then I think you have a strong 35 mph bike maybe.
they shipped mine out to me with the cable to the motor severed and they just sent me a few nuts and bolts in the mail to "fix it" that took just long enough to get here that now i've run out of time on their return policy. do not recommend
@@MrCentralDriver Sweet, seems like a good candidate for a high power hub motor conversion. Plenty of space for a battery and wide dropouts for a strong motor. The fact that its steel makes welding a lot easier.
these are sent for review so they come in a week or less after talking to the company. everybody else should expect 2 weeks or less if they have one in the united states
Been keeping an eye on their site and the Macfox X2 already went up in price earlier today....went to 1,799 for the base model originally was set at 1,399 so went up 500 bucks?! The X1 seems to be holding at 999 though.
ill never use a phone on a bike again unless just talking, i was sending a txt and went to take a right of the road, thought there was no cars coming, started to turn, looked again, had to throw myself to the floor otherwise i would of been under or ontop of a car in the oncoming lane, (thankfully he was going just fast enough to stop in time) lol remember kids dont use ur phone and ride/drive (:
those are cool but cant do any new e bikes yet. im 4 products backed up right now and i can only get to 1 each week and they have deadlines. also the rumble motors apex is coming!
I ordered this bike, and am very disappointed. First off, they didn't honor the $100 off code, I had to point that out. Next, it took 3 weeks to get and came with a damaged front rotor, and the tail light and fenders were not in the box, or even acknowledged. The grab bar looked like it wasn't allowed to dry, had been marred by fingerprints grabbing the wet paint-I sent an email, and no part was offered, and they said Fed Ex caused the paint problem??? Next, my fenders and tail light arrived from China, and NO instructions, a thin baggie with multiple screws and bolts was open, parts all over the box...it doesn't end with these people. To think that FedEx had the exact same paint, unwrapped the grab bar and repainted it, looking like a 3 year old did the job, is beyond me. Then they had the nerve to tell me that ALL of customer service was sent on vacation - in the middle of this massive campaign?

Great starter bike for someone wanting a budget priced ebike. Not gonna get much for under $1,000.
I feel like this bike tells you how much a ZX really costs.

You get more with the jansno but it feels cheaper than this bike.
@@MrCentralDriver that makes sense, thanks. Hopefully it's not too bad, mine comes this week. Im putting flatout or slime in it right away lol

How difficult was it to swap the 73 battery and controller ? Is there a vid to follow

Can you replace the front to add suspension? I know that sounds like a stupid question just wanted to make sure
The "Omega Man" (movie- 1973) bike.
Kmart Bike. If I came over to ride bikes and you gave me that one to tool around on I might get 😡😅👽🚲
Man idk how I got un subscribed from your channel but cool to be back man lol !!
haha

some peoples' budget is under 1k tho
Yooo this is my boy, video came up as an ad!! Had to drop a view🙌
Hell yeah!!!
Do u think it's ok that it's ok to do the minimal assembly myself?

The tires look durable and not puncture prone like them tires all ebike come with
A good starter bike for someone
A steady and comfortable ride!

hey dear!
@@macfoxbike hey! Keep up the good work!
@@easyheimer Received! Yes sir!
this bike look really similar to Ouxi V8 .
Would you say this or the jansno x50 which is better?
This one is better. Or look into the eb7 jasion
they shipped mine out to me with the cable to the motor severed and they just sent me a few nuts and bolts in the mail to "fix it" that took just long enough to get here that now i've run out of time on their return policy. do not recommend
Would you say its better then the jansno x50
11:26 x50, this is less power and minimalist features and forget about hills on it
jansno but also look at the eb7 ebike at the same price. i really liked that one.
Is the frame steel or aluminum?
Steel

Check out some crf 50 motorcycle grips.
How would you compare this to the jansno x50? Since they’re similar in price
This is better than the jansno
Slap that 52v 20ah battery from the rev1 on that thing!
@mrcentraldriver how long did it take for it to arrive from china?

Can you please do this but for the Macfox X2
Waiting. Should have got it by now
Thank you so much I’ve been trying to see what to get the x1 or the x2 and I was trying to do research but nobody has reviewed the x2
How long did delivery take?
these get sent to me so delivery is gonna be different for me than you. it was in stock and took a week at most after the contract was signed
is the price for the mac fox x2 worth it if im driving it to school in a suburban neighborhood
Mac fox x1 is a better value
review the CyCRUN CYCROWN MOPED 10.4 amp
Does it com with a fire extinguisher?
why do u need one
10ah battery you might get to work but you will be peddling home haha
With a 500w motor it’s not bad on range. Wouldn’t be the best tho. They do have a dual battery option
Is there any way to get this in the UK?
No idea on that
Do you have any idea of witch cable is the speed limiter?
Did you ever find out witch one it was
Put a 73 sticker on the side and you're set
Bro ,review an annioki A8 pro max if you can
those are cool but cant do any new e bikes yet. im 4 products backed up right now and i can only get to 1 each week and they have deadlines. also the rumble motors apex is coming!
what speedometer app you use?
speedometer on IOS
Have they sent u the macfox X2
nothing yet
The super73 ZX got cucked I'm interested !!!

That throttle response is baaaaaaad
No offense but that company will not answer phone calls or respond to emails
Never tried calling but within a few days they gotten back to me. Took 3-4 days tho
Not with that weak a** battery and motor...
What a dope bike for the money 🤑
