@@JudeTheUA-camPoopersubscribe lol yea. Right now, I'm looking for a tutorial how to bypass the speed limiter. But I'm not sure if there's any for Macfox bikes.
Having the light on all the time is just for safety so people see you and they don't pull in front of you you don't want to go flying been there done that
I just saw your video on UA-cam and the macfox 2 looks awesome, it's exactly what I'm looking for but I'm looking to spend around 900. Do you know if any models in that price range. Kool vid. Can you hit me back with any suggestions. Thanks
@@michaelbigelow3255dropping the psi makes a huge difference on sand mud and snow and everything you stated would only happened if you drop it too low but most fat tires are rated for 5-30 psi so it’s not a problem really
On my X2 there's a brake light, but the bike has to be completely powered on before it'll work. Also out here in Wyoming US when its cold all the time, I would say the rubber compound in the tires is a bit hard, and the tread is a little too shallow for slippery stuff ($139 per tire? Look elsewhere.) Other than that and the fact that the frame is welded wonky so the extra battery tray won't fit up under the underside of the top tube, she's good.
I love your reviews and I am about to pull the trigger on an e-bike but I keep getting overwhelmed by the options. For someone that lives in an area with more inclement do you have a recommendation for a fat tire commuter style bike that’s still relatively affordable?
You should always put loctite on the front wheel that with that type of screw setup and if you're driving down the road at 30 miles an hour and your front wheel falls you are going to be eating you know what and it kind of looks like the front light is looking upward but it could be the camera who knows but I really like to know the price
Yeahhhh... my freego dk200 came with the same front "axel" setup, not really a fan but it seems to work. I have over 400 miles on the bike at this point and the wheel hasn't fallen off yet lol but my brain thinks "this is wrong"
Just curious. It's been a while since I've uploaded any UA-cam content. Does it now let you choose when to show ads during your videos? Because, it always seems to happen right when you (in particular) start a hill test or acceleration test lol
I ordered the X2 for my son on Sept 5 after watching this video and using your discount code. It was supposed to ship Sept 28, still no update. The billing was a China company🙄yet address says Texas. No number for customer service. A phone number I found on the website for shipping info is actually a CA area code that has automated voice mail. No real person. Is this a scam? Anyone have issues with this company. Did your bike ever arrive???
Best price like how much you going to stay at all these different things you need to tell us the price I am not the only one that wants to know thank you very much
Ohh WAW No through axel! Ya leave the skewer in! There's nothing supporting that front hub if you hit a pot hole of down up a kirb the wheels will just bend or worse fall off!
$699 for the MacFox X1 is a much better and more affordable price. $1,699 sounds like a lot of money for that so it’s impossible for me to say that it’s a cheapest bike. People think affordable electric bikes are under $2,000 while some think it’s under $50.
If it can't climb that Hill then it's just no good it will never be right personally I think 72 volts as much better and dual wheels 2 that gives you a little more power if you're climbing hills
The problem with that is most bikes wouldn't be legal at 60volts hell most 52v bikes aren't technically legal either. Most companies just wouldn't want to take that legal risk with a possibility of huge fines and legal issues. A 60v battery paired with a halfway decent controller say 30amps and a 750w or a 1000w motor you would be doing 40mph or close to it.... not legal too much power going through the motor. Before you accuse me of being a Karen lol I have a 60v bike that will do 55mph so I'm not a Karen.
Man I'm cringing just watching you go side to side on this thing with absolutely no through axle! Check that rear wheel aswell this is highly dangerous especially for road use!
those are really bad programmed controllers, giving full blast W no matter the assist lvl, and only limited by max speed. I have it on duotts mtb ebike, and its dangerous, it sucks, and its useless pedalling. Its a scooter basicly
And what ,iPhones are made in China, almost everything is made on China as nobody can match their scale of manufacturing. You can have anything manufactured there, you just have to pay a little extra for Quality Control.

This bike is a total junk. Super cheap components, low grade materials, definitely not worth the $2000 I paid for it ( I ordered it with the second battery, which hasn't arrived yet!). The current versions that they send out, are limited to 25 mph, they do not come with red break calipers and they do not provide metal pedals like in your video. Cheap, plastic ones instead. My suggestion to you is, when you reviewing these bikes, ask yourself one more question, "would I put my kid on this bike"? If your answer is no, please state your honest opinion, so people don't get hurt or be disappointed with their purchase. Of course company is terrible, with non- existing customer service, other than a worthless AI chat bot on their website. . Protect your youtube brand and integrity. Thanks!

Awesome videos Bro! Thanks so much and keep them coming.. great content!!! btw why don't you have the Ariel Grizzly on the 0-20 test?
I got the X1 3 days ago and the battery has not drained yet. I like it! It's a good beginners e bike!
You'll quickly find yourself wanting more power and top speed lol. I remember when I first got my ebike built up and hitting 35mph felt insane.

You have to drop the PSI to ~5 when you get on sand, bring a pump with you and give it a try next time

i am about 5,2 ft and weight around 100 pounds and plan to do SOME light mountain biking, do you think it would do well?
Im thinking the tires are playing a role on the handling, don't seem like regular knobbies

Why would the max rider weight be only 220 lbs. when other bikes are rated at 350-400lbs.?
