    Thanks so much for the "All-Inclusive, everything you want to know about embossing and knockdown embroidery" video!
    I very much appreciate your "just get it done" approach.
    I think it's worth mentioning that when considering negative space embroidery, the thicker the base fabric, the better.
    Great video!

    Thanks so much for your informative videos! Can you please create a video showing how to create the circle font monograms with knockdown stitching using Floriani or Pallett 11 software?

    Mr Brad I totally love your videos. I come back to these very very often. I know this is old video, but just starting to get into this type of embroidery. any way the Matt thread for the knock down you talk about what do i look for in stores.

      Madeira makes a good matte thread. But any regular sewing machine thread works too, just dont use embroidery thread and it wont be shiny.

      Would you still use an embroidery needle or regular?

    Thank you for this! But how do you do it if the font does not have the outline option? I chose Patisserie and I'm soooooo stuck!

    Hi stumble upon your channel. Great video! Do you know where I can buy FTCU software? I hope it is isn't expensive. I don't have an embroidery machine, I do love doodling and turn them into vector. Now after seeing your video I would like to turn my doodle into embroidery. Any advice for a beginner? Thank you so much!

    Hi Brad. I watch all of your videos and have learned so much. I am hoping you can help with something. The font type (sub category) drop down list is completely missing from my font properties. I can choose a font but I cant specify outline, applique, etc. Also when I right click on my text there isnt a convert into artwork option. They used to be there but now These have just disappeared. Please help if possible. Thanks!!

    Just discovered something. You can use ANY font, not only those with outlines. After copy and pasting, all you have to do is break the text apart, group them, then the Create Outline option appears.

    Hi Brad! Would you make a tutorial on how to obtain a double or triple topstitch? I have seen it in designs that I buy but I can't figure out how to do it with Floriani - Thank you for all your videos

    • @EllicottCitySewVac
      @EllicottCitySewVac  6 років тому

      do you mean like with a running stitch?

    • @MSTEFANOVIC1
      @MSTEFANOVIC1 6 років тому

      It's like a running stitch but it's two of them one next to the other one. So like a double running stitch. Brother machines has it as triple stitch. It makes the running stitch look thicker 2.bp.blogspot.com/-GJI9mp3wy0A/UcxZHiNyUsI/AAAAAAAAB1c/IY9PB5n9nZs/s1600/P1080295-marked.jpg

      ok all you have to do is select a run stitch, and look in your properties. You'll see a tab for "run extra". One of the setting in that tab is "bean style" set it to "bean", and then at the bottom you can choose your repeats, 3, 5 etc. If you want just two repeats then in the "run" tab set the type to "double run".

    Hi Brad - how can I contact you for guidance to create this knockdown stitch with FontWorks?

  • @sheilaburtis1296

    I'm sorry, but this seems so complicated compared to a video of another software. You selected a monogram, clicked on a single button and it made a knockdown stitch. I will never remember this. I'm going along with him in my software and still does not come easily. Floriani needs to have just a click on button, for this action. Too many steps.

      for one thing, i specifically made this video for those who don't have either embrilliance or DG Creator, the programs that do this in one click, also i agree that floriani should add that feature too.
