Thank you for the informative video! Can vouch for Leona being pretty busted damage at A3 with E10, mainly due to her stacking burn damage that caps at 5 stacks. Was easily ticking for 13k+ on some bosses.
people underestimate Schwarz's equipment I believe. The DEF buff not only makes you bulkier, it also increases his skill damage because IT also scales with his DEF. He can do some MASSIVE damage, definitely a safe investment.
I'd also argue Wrath is a bad 6 star. She was my first 6 star. And so she was also my first A3 and equipment 10. However, I genuinely feel like she should be a 4 star. Her damage is EXTREMELY low for a 6 star. And I don't think her breakthroughs will change that...
I started the game yesterday and i was so lost, your vids are really helping me, many thanks ✌ Btw, i got Vivian (Electro) as my first five star character and thought " wow she looks so cool" but than got so disappointed when people said she is a meh & awkward character to play with and the fact that she wasn't even mentioned in this... ouch 😥
I also got vivian as my first 5 star and she is a little difficult to play with xd (started last week!). I still use her, but she is falling behind very fast ;_;.
Great GREAT video mate! I just started playing 2 weeks ago and I LOVE this game. I've seen quite alot of videos and yours was definitely one of the most informative . Keep up the great content my brother! "White Night up high"
There's some units missing out. Like Benny & Kuro who can deal way more dmg than Leona (specially when mbt), Hachi & Gin who deals more dmg with his spammable active skill than most 5* not only thunder but all elements included (specially against multi tile enemies), Genevieve with amazing 1cd tp with micro heal and attack dmg boost, Jane who can do almost the same as Chandra and good to deal with Boss totems, Jola who does the same as Naroxel resetting broken tiles globally and applies DoT, Lester with her low tile count chain combo which is perfect for maintaining DoT and last and one of the most used on OTK water comps Chloe the buffer/debuffer gem who works perfectly with Regal.
Thank you for mentioning Benny and Curo! I know they see use but their kit is very unique and without some use (mine are still at lvl 1) I couldn't wrap my head around them enough to comfortably break them down for the video. I appreciate your other mentions too and agree about the usefulness of a lot of them. I think it shows this game is starting out in a good place when we can get so much use out of so many units. All I'd say, is that for a lot of your mentions (except maybe Hachi and Gin, I haven't played with them much) I'd recommend people look to invest in them after investing in their more core units as I feel they suffer from fall off as content gets harder. Except for B&C and Chole of course!
@@bondboy8 Benny and curo are hard to use, imo. Curo can be placed anywhere but if you not careful you could block your own path and/or block a chain combo from hitting enemies. Like puppet archetype in fighting games, they're incredibly strong and can cover wide area but you need a big brain to use them. Also never ever let AI handle them.
@@Faelitu Raphael and Uriel are both decent third convertors. Raphael can be nice when you need a bit of extra healing and Uriel has a %hp DoT that also buffs her team's damage. Definitely not Connolly tier.
@@bondboy8 both Raphael and Uriel are mediocre units that can only start working more consistent when mbt otherwise there are way better options than them. Also, burn is the worst DoT of the game and adds very little to none dmg on pratical uses.
@@nura4277 (TL;DR: Do you have Kal'tsit? If you do, not really. However, Amiya is still a great addition to your boss killers if you're willing to get her S3 masteries.) That depends entirely on wether or not you need true damage. Eyja deals arts damage, which can be dodged. Amiya/Kal'tsit deal true damage, which ignores RES and DEF completely, and cannot be dodged. My Amiya's S3 at M2 (E2lvl35) is enough to (help) kill most bosses that a support unit Ch'alter/Surtr can't kill by themselves. Kal'tsit is basically a global true damage nuker, but in general, Amiya is AMAZING for true damage.
17:08 these are basically "budget" damage dealers if you don't have the go-tos of their element. Corax is Walmart Sharona. Leona is the only actual 5 star fire damage dealer. Kafka (and now Hachi and Gin) are the best thunder snipers (even better than Wrath if you ask me personally). Nails does a TON of damage but also is very hard to play with because he requires you to maintain very low HP and that means a lot of dodging and THAT means a lot of shields/teleports, which fire lacks severely (unless you have Novio, which is a very rare and new 6 star). Patty and Patsy are damage dealers that you use if RNGesus screwed you and you have absolutely no other damage dealers for fire.
Yea but this is a guide for 4s and 5s and note that not everyone have Novio (me included), and also Alice is way more cuter than Novio, useful in CC, early-mid spire, and Simulation Room, so, yeah, must protecc.

Wrath was an early 6 star I pulled. I was delighted to get her at first but with mid and higher level maps her appeal has dropped off a cliff.
damn
Kinda sad she's the worst 6 star in the game, hopium for a rework like connolly does. I don't have Wrath but she's deserve more

I had play for a month and my strongest non-fire and non-6star is Tessa. She hit like a truck, she is my 2nd strongest hitter after 6star Sinsa
I'd also recommend ascending Taki and Roy
Thanks for the video! I'm relatively new to Alchemy Stars so this is helpful
This is exactly the video that I needed ! Thank you so much for this detailed and easy understandable breakdown!

I dont think many people will have MBT Benny tho. I only have BT2 Benny so I havent built her.

I'm a new player and I have a question. My Philyshy is just water element. She receive a new one after ascencion or anything like that?
