I use to live out there years ago and explore all those tracks and more...i went out the cells about 30 years ago...the track was absolutely hectic back then,,,I am amazed the hut is still standing..
Yer it’s been though a few fires. They graded the road about 2 years ago so it was much worse. Shame about the Jeep trail it’s super overgrown doesn’t see many people coming though that way due to how steep and clay it is. Awesome spot love it in there!
@@tapevans87 yeah I loved living out there,it was amazing years ago, I lived down stream from Maxwell's flat,,the country was so much more wild back then .
@@tapevans87 yeah if you went along the old Oxley highway you could get there depending on which way you went and end up on Doyle's river road....back then you would be traveling through tunnels of ferns ,vines and rainforest canopy.. Causeway road was so over grown ,you pretty much had to use your bike and body like a bulldozer to get through the track lol..I got ripped off my bike quite a few times by vines..
I love that area.
Awesome hey!
Top effort boys, in particular in the wet. Another notable point is highlighting the tracks traveled.......always helps others to enjoy. Cheers
Thanks mate was a great trip. I’m on the fence about sharing track names, I want others to enjoy them but not destroy them double edge sword.
