Spent thanksgiving over at my son’s in-laws. We love them . Everyone pitched in to bring sides. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12. Love this flosstube. Be blessed.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12. The highlight of my Thanksgiving was probably how much my nephew, who doesn’t usually like dessert, loved my pumpkin pie. He ate two pieces and I sent him home with two more, made my heart happy!
I have a sweet story from Thanksgiving. My grandson said grace and his entire long grace was about how thankful he was that his grandfather and I spend so much time with them all year long. Touching! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11
My college roommate didn’t know how to cook so we were all a little nervous when she said she would cook the turkey. She didn’t thaw it, didn’t remove the gizzard packet, cooked it upside down, and slathered it with mayo and garlic salt repeatedly to baste it. We got Chinese food instead! 3 4 5 6 8 10 11

Glad you all had a great thanksgiving. We've after several years found out my son was allergic to crandberries. He only had it on Thanksgiving at my MIL it always made him sick along with breathing issues. The year we found out my MIL didn't add it to her stuffing. My sweet 4 year old was proud to announce Hamas your food didn't make me throw up. Lol 1 2 3 4 5 7 8 9 10 12

We visited my daughter and son-in-law shortly after they were married to help them cook their first Thanksgiving dinner. They lived in an apartment and it had a garbage disposal. I had never had one, so I put the potato peelings down it and immediately plugged up the sink. We had to call the super and he didn't come for several hours. My help turned out not to be very helpful! At any rate, the meal turned out great and now that I have a garbage disposal at home, I never put potato peels down in it. Lesson learned. You are so lucky to have all the grandkids together for Thanksgiving! My son loves my chocolate pie. After everyone left, I said I could swear I made 1 more chocolate pie than was out for everyone, he smiled and went back to his bedroom fridge and produced the missing pie he didn't want to share. :) 9, 11

We played that game where you pass around the Saran Wrap ball and try to unwrap it wearing oven mitts but you only have until the person ahead of you rolls doubles with dice. It was a riot!
Thanks, Chelsea, for bringing Cash on for us to see. Love when you share his funny little comments. Priscilla, you are so right about Thanksgiving being a lot of work. Even when everyone chips in! We played the children's version of charades (so fun. I think you guys would love it). Funniest moment was when my 70 year old brother got the prompt of "cheerleader", and gave it his all, including high kicks, pom poms shakes and cheesy expressions. We will never forget it, even though he did himself in and had to sit out the rest of the game. 4 5 8 9 11
I’m running out of time!!! So much to stitch, so little time!!! We had a very quiet day. Everyone went out of town, so it was just my husband, my uncle and me. So low key and quiet. Of course I couldn’t tell everyone how wonderful it was because it would have hurt their feelings. But made a pecan pie cheesecake for dessert. So sorry no one else was there to taste it. My husband says I need to make many more before Christmas. We won’t be able to sit in our chairs if I do. Love y’all!!!!

We invited a family from our neighborhood to our family Thanksgiving dinner. My husband was getting ready to say grace when the 8-year-old neighbor said he knew the best grace for Thanksgiving. My husband told the boy he was welcome to say the grace then. The boy is so serious. He directs everyone to hold hands and bow their heads. Later, my husband told me he was glad to see a youngster leading the prayer until....the boy began praying, "Rub-a-dub-dub and thanks for the grub. Ahmen." I had to bite my tongue not to laugh. No funny stories, but we were blessed to visit family near Chicago and meet our great nephew who is 1. On Friday we took the train (first time for me) downtown and went to the Kris Kindle Market. I had so much fun. Then on the way back we were on the train all decorated for Christmas. A magical day for me. 3, 4, 6

A memorable Thanksgiving from several years ago, was at our parents’ home, lots of family and friends, deep into the eating and our elderly great-aunt Anna excused herself from the table and went to use the restroom. Came back and announced to all the toilet was running over! A call to Roto-Rooter, crisis averted, and probably our mom made sure they didn’t leave empty-handed! And, the same thing happened again a few years later😳

You two are funny! I love the fabric you received. The only story I have about Thanksgiving is when my daughter decided to cut her finger on the turkey roaster and had to get stitches. Now, we joke that she can’t cook the turkey anymore. lol. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, & 10.

A few years ago I was cooking Thanksgiving and I do everything and I was running behind, I put the rolls in and got busy. Well 30 min later we realized I had forgotten about them. Several years ago, I went on strike and told my kids and husband that I was not making Thanksgiving dinner. They thought I was just kidding but I wasn't. Thanksgiving morning everyone got up and went into the kitchen. I wish I had filmed them. It was hilarious! Needless to say, I heard about that all year long :) 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 Thanks!!
Not anything funny happened but every year my granddaughter’s play a video at me reacting to my one granddaughter throwing a cup of Sprite at the other, I was not happy about the mess and they video taped it. They probably will play this every year.

Years ago my sister-in-law Bernie was worrying and fussing about cooking the turkey just right for a big family gathering with our new mother-in-law. Our new mother-in-law was very la-t-da about things. Anyways when Bernie took the turkey out of the oven and lifted the rack with it out of the roaster it slide off the rack and shot across the kitchen floor like it was making a break for it. Bernie looked at me horrified dove after the turkey scooped it up and stuck it back in the oven. NO ONE told our new mother in ever! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 , 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12
Our daughter hosted Thanksgiving and burnt the marsh mellows on top. Flames took over the casserole. We scraped the marsh mellows off and started over. We laughed and it turned out fine and they were really good! 1,2,3,4,6,8,10,11,12
Hi Ladies!! Thank you for the opportunities and all the wonderful stitching pieces!! 10! My husbands work had a thanksgiving party and my hubby asked that I whip up some mashed potatoes, green been casserole and sweet potatoes (no big deal right????) I get to his work (He's a doctor) and in the parking lot one of the ladies that works for him has a turkey on the grill!! She had to duct tape it shut because the 20lb turkey didn't fit and she also made her husband stuff a charcoal grill in her car!! It turned out great and the staff enjoyed everything!! The patients in my husbands office ( many of them older and confused )couldn't understand why everything smelled like fire!! LOL!!!

My youngest sister once said something about no pictures and I told her we’d have more but she was adopted, We all laughed so hard. Thanksgiving was a small and quiet one. Just the 4 of us. I used paper plates and plastic silverware and didn’t use serving bowls, served from what they were made in, lol and I didn’t clean up my sewing from the dining room table so we sat where we could. Super relaxing and no fuss or muss.
I don't really have any funny thanksgiving stories that I can think of. It was so good to see Cash. He is so adorable. 8, 9, 10, 11.
#11 my brother made the stuffing one year when my parents were out of town. My mother told him to cook the giblets and put the meat in the blender with melted butter and herbs. He put the whole neck in bones and all.
One of our funniest Thanksgiving stories is when I asked my sister-in-law to bring the salad for our dinner. Well she came in with a box full of things for salad put in on the counter and went into the living room. I looked at the box then looked at my hubby and burst into laughter. Silly me assumed she would bring the salad ready to eat.
I am very thankful for you both. You have kept me going these past few months since my hubby past in July. I have been binge watching all your videos.

The two of you have an amazing relationship and that really comes through in your floss tube. I am someone who only teases or jokes around with people I like, so I take your teasing as a sign of affection. I can’t think of any funny stories specific to thanksgiving or anything too recent, but growing up, we’d have company for dinner almost every Sunday and my dad would go into the kitchen, so only I could see him from our dining room and he’d do something hysterical to make me laugh. If anyone else turned to see what I was laughing at, he’d be acting normal, so I probably looked a bit crazy. Thanks for the floss tube…so fun!

The following year the turkey burned and was too dry to eat.

Hey Priscilla and Chelsea, my funny Thanksgiving story!
My oldest daughter took pride in making homemade cupcakes, I mean the kind from scratch. She has never made anything homemade before, and was so proud of these cupcakes! My youngest daughter showed up, brought her dog with her so that he could play with my dogs. We set the cupcakes down on the table, with some of the other desserts. Didn’t think anything about it, all of a sudden, the daughter that made the cupcakes said hey, who took the cupcakes? All of the dogs are just sitting looking at us except for link (his name after the Zelda character). He had his head turned, and would not look at us. Finally, he turns his head and his nose is covered in icing 😂 Needless to say we had no cupcakes left and someone had a, bad tummy that night. I was in MO visiting all my kids for thanksgiving which this yr we combined w Christmas since I can’t go back then. I had given my son a tshirt. His 2 yr old nephew saw it, says ohhh red then oohhhh so soffy and want to wear it. They put it on him. Hung to the floor and to his hands. All night he would put his arms in the air to move it up but he refused to take it off. He wore it home and to bed. I had a friend who was a newlywed many years ago and wasn't much of a cook at the beginning. When it came to making her first thanksgiving dinner, she wanted to make biscuits and didn't realize you had to separate them when you took them out of the can. I guess she thought they would separate on their own...lol. We still talk about it to this day. Cash is growing up so fast. What a handsome boy! Looking forward to the home tour. We had a terrific Thanksgiving with extended family including 10 children. One of my favorite parts is when everyone tried to see who can tell the funniest bad dad joke.

When we were living in married student housing back when we were going to college, my friend and I were going to fix a big Thanksgiving dinner for our husbands. Having never done this before, we really did not know how to make a turkey. Our husbands couldn’t believe it took as long as it did and the timer button never popped out because we checked on it about every 15 mins. Took about 8 hrs to cook.

Glad you had a great thanks giving. Our was interesting. The oven did not work so when my dad put the turkey out when it was supposed to ready it was still raw. I am a Quilter and now a stitcher. I stitched over 20 years ago. I would do 1 project at a time and now I do multiple. I have finished 2 projects so far. 10 & 11. Our favorite story from Thanksgiving is when my grandnephew walked around the house with black olives on all his fingers. He even ate with them as part of his appendages. It was so funny to watch 🤣
You girls crack me up. My daughters and I have the same relationship where we can joke and banter. We had a new boyfriend of a family member at our Thanksgiving, so i warned everyone not to bring up their usual "bathroom" humor conversations. Anyone else have those? Well, it was hard, but they did it. Everything stayed appropriate and fun. 2,8,10,11
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. Funny, started eating dinner this year and we’re missing the stuffing. Still in the fridge uncooked. My sister in law forgot to cook it. Oh well, got home and I realized I forgot the pickles for the relish tray.
Reminder to self:::: when you put things in the refrigerator in the garage tell someone you did it. My sister in law hunted for 15 minutes trying to find all the desserts and the extra drinks. Finally she turned and looked at me and said "you didn't make any desserts" lol Looking forward to your home tour this week. Your house is always so beautiful. 1,4,7,10

One year we had thanksgiving at my oldest sister’s new apartment. She put the turkey in to cook overnight. When she checked on it in the morning, the oven was cold - it was broken. My other sister and BIL had to run down to WM and get a canned ham. The year of the broken oven has been a funny memory for years 🤣 2,3,5,6,10
I think your conversations and banter are funny and fun and and you obviously enjoy eachothers company as you choose to spend time together outside your business. Love your family antics❤
One Thanksgiving when I was young, we were all seated for our meal, a table full of guests in the breakfast room, a table full in the dining room and a table full in the family room. And then all of a sudden, the breakfast room folks went ohhhhh and started laughing, then the dining room people and then in the family room, where I was sitting, I saw the attraction! Our springer spaniel, Patchie, was prancing by the window on the deck which stats at one end of the house and can be viewed from all of the rooms. In his mouth was a very stiff and very dead squirrel that he was proudly showing off to all of our guests! His Thanksgiving presentation 🤦♀️

No accidents in the kitchen this year, but one of the funniest things on Thanksgiving was my oldest son imitating Chris Farley’s “ Matt Foley” Character from SNL! 😂

Don't have a funny Thanksgiving story, but we had a wonderful time. My family (Me, my husband and kids on down to 8 greats) are now at 29! Most were able to come, as they live close by. What a blessing! I would love 1,3,6,7,8,9,10,11,12
I love your floss tube! You remind me of the relationship I had with my Mother when she was alive! I am new to your channel. I started watching your floss tube and I decided to get back into cross stitch after 20 plus years. I would always do one project at a time but, not now the more the merrier. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12. My funny story is that we were so exhausted from helping my in-laws get packed up and moved, that we stared at the TV and had frozen pizza for Thanksgiving dinner, lol.
All the family comes to our house, and since we live in a very rural area, they stay for 2-4 days. This year we had someone go tubing in the cold lake water, played pickleball, did a lot of axe throwing, and went in the jacuzzi after dinner. Not really any funny stories, except this was the year everyone called to ask, "Can I bring someone?" We had 18 people for Thanksgiving dinner. It was fun.

My Golden Retriever Joey barked as soon as he saw the raw turkey on the counter and then barked as soon as we began carving. He only stopped when he got a few bites. #2,7,10,11,12.
