In the last two years I have completely rejected hook-up culture and I couldn't find the right words as to why. Hitomi put it perfectly 'sharing sexual energy with someone without the context of safety and comfort is drastically different from having that as a baseline'. Thank you, that line gave me resonance chills.

Awareness is like letting go of the 'umbrella' that's blocking the beautiful sunshine from hitting your face. It's realizing just how beautiful life is and embracing it joyously.
When he said "even if it's through these cameras and microphones, we're supporting you on your journey", I felt them so close that I even cry a little. This might be the most healing talk I've ever listened to. Sometimes I'll listen to podcasts while doing house chores and with this episode I was doing chores too, but from early on I ended up stopping whatever I was doing and just fully immersed myself in this talk. André you really bring on the most inspiring wise beings onto your show, I feel like with every episode I'm just constantly blasted with so much wisdom from both you and your guests. Thank you both so much for showing up so so beautifully here and showering us with your personal life lessons and being so fully open and vulnerable. Just WOW! All my love to you Hitomi and André!
I resonate with what she says about independence, never getting to be a child, chaotic and abusive upbringing. Wanting to be kind and service others. I’ve been watching her since I was a senior in Highschool and I’ve never felt closer to a stranger before
This is a hidden gem, my god. I resonated so deeply on not having to go back to the darkness behind you unless necessary and taking a break from “constant self improvement”. Wow
I wish we had more like Hitomi in this world. I was depressed 5 years ago, it was the lowest point of my life. A lot happened in my life. I came back to my country Canada from a year long trip in India and readjustment became very hard. I felt lost, didn’t know where I’m belonged to and traveling wasn’t the option due to money issue. In the midst of my struggle, I lost my nephew who was my best friend on Christmas eve, then my pet who was like a baby to me, then my father to cancer, and my breakup, all less than a year. I basically hit the bottom rock. Nothing was the same and I had nobody to rely on. But one thing helped me to go on and that was exercise. I came across Hitomi channel and seeing someone else in this world sharing her weaknesses and struggles and coming of it strong gave me hopes. I didn’t quit loving myself and started doing meditation and yoga and read a lot of self help books which gave me perspectives. I’m not good at story telling, it’s also hard to write or tell about what I went through because it’s retraumatizing sometimes, but I wanted to say how much this beautiful human being helped me along my journey❤

I find it really interesting that she speaks for herself (using I, me, my) and he speaks for others (we, your, you, everyone). Maybe that’s the nature of interviewer but it was a highlighted polarity between them for me.
It's a beautiful thing to hear someone just SAY IT. I think we often feel SO ALONE...like, no one else could possibly be dealing with all the heavy shit going on in ones life. So it's SUCH A GIFT to have someone say it OUT LOUD. Only then can many of us realize that YES THERE ARE OTHERS! WE ARE NOT ALONE. I remember first time I heard someone say...I think it was Michael Beckwith...anyway, he said that YOU are unique, YOUR SITUATION is not. That one hit home. But my FAVORITE little anecdote that made me laugh FOR SURE, but also remind myself to just breathe...was this one... A very wise older person once said. I haven't been with Hitomi throughout her public presence but from the time that I've been her casual viewer to now, I think out of all the influencers I know of, her and bretman rock are one of the most authentic, down to earth people I've ever witnessed through this digital age Thank you for this episode ❤
I just recently discovered Hitomi's channel and believe she came into my life at exactly the right time. She is sharing messages I would've needed to hear at 16, but now at 19 I really fell like I am not just able to hear them but receive them and integrate them in my life as well.
Wow, it's so interesting hearing her story. I think my story is a bit similar. In adolescence I struggled a lot with body image, social connection, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, self harm, and suicide attempt and thoughts. What I attribute to getting out of it was finding a passion and making connections with people in that passion. But I also started yoga. I am not sure why I did but I loved it and I still practice today more than 10 years later. It calmed me so much, I used to fidget and be restless when sleeping and after yoga that stopped. I felt more connected to my body and years later I added meditation. Meditation helped me cope and come out of anxiety and panic attacks and to calm myself. I'm so glad she shared her story, we do need more people sharing their stories and being authentically themselves. I appreciate it so much when people do this. And now I am on my path to do the same.
That is the prettiest podcast space I've ever seen! This popped into my algorithm and I clicked on this video because I find Hitomi so inspirational. Amazing episode, new subscriber because of this! Thanks so much!
Hitomi has such a gentle yet powerful presence. I think Hitomi gives us courage and space to live a little deeper. It’s not easy to a navigate the deeps of oneself.

Thank you andré for providing a platform for these kind of conversations, from the bottom of my heart. A big thank you to all your guests aswell for providing all this knowledge.
I love this conversation and especially when Hitomi speaks about how her aversion was just as detrimental as her attachment. This is something I learned during my Vipassana meditation retreat years ago that I still hold dear to me.
getting comfortable and familiar with the hard/dark feelings is one of the biggest things that has helped me through depression and continues to when those sparks of depression arise. thank you both for sharing your wisdom it truly makes a difference
Wow this is my first time coming to your podcast to listen and watch and you are the best podcast host I’ve seen ~ you allow your guests to express as much of themselves as they want to!! You give them the space to feel safe doing that and that is a gift ♥️
amazing podcast! seldom people value the journey of finding our way out of the hole that we dug, with the shovels we were handed by the expectations of others to figure life out with a perfect outcome. we are growing n learning, "we can be real, we are close to God". the intense n often perceived as negative emotions are where we find our genuine selves.
This is vulnerable and honest..however I noticed how she still smiles even though she is breaking down.. that’s still a lot of conditioning to process.. smiling when you don’t want to..
I can't help but just feel really sad when I watch this. I am glad that Hitomi has managed to find a way to cope and is inspiring so many other people to cope in the same way- but I just wish that all these kindhearted people would unite and tackle the actual problem that's at the root cause for all this suffering we're experiencing: The capitalistic societal structure that mankind has trapped itself in. This isn't natural for us at all- yet we accept it as normal just because we were born into it. Her explaining how she wants to be paid to be kind to others is her being in touch with the way humanity operated before capitalism- the way we naturally want to be: Caring for one another. What they told you in school was mostly a lie: The trading and bartering system was only used when communicating with other villages, within the villages themselves people just did each other favors, they cared for each other and made sure of their collective survival by doing so. Individualism is a lie - but it goes way further than us all being made from the same spirit/source whatever you wanna call it. We need each other, not just to cope with the way things are but to stand up against them, against the narcissistic capitalistic force that is dividing us. But yeah, she's doing good with step one in that process: Connecting people with each other and helping them realize their own strenght. Just needs a tad more critical view of the world we live in to have it truly be great. I wish you blessings and awareness, you, the person who read this comment. Thank you.
What do you do in your personal life to cope with having to live under such a societal structure? I live in one of the cities with the highest HCOL and started my career a few years ago...struggling with long-term view / perspective.
@@marissa3248I don't have all the answers either- but spending time volunteering at your local community center and helping it make a place where people connect with each other- where they (and you) can build a support network outside of the monetary system, is what personally gives me fulfillment and a sense of stability. Also online communities with likeminded people- and of course a good dose of escapism and spirituality. Spreading the message to as many people as possible and building up interconnectivity and trust is the best you can do to help at this point in time. Don't forget you're just one person- doing what you can with the time and energy you have left to spare, is always enough. Keep good track of your energy reserves- doing nothing is sometimes the absolute best thing you can do for yourself when it comes to selfcare. I hope that helps at least a little

This is the best podcast I have seen since starting my spiritual journey in January 2023 🥰 and I have watched a ton of them and learned so much! But this conversation really has helped me at this time and I not only know that I am on the right track with my journey but also I learned ways to help integrate the beautiful experiences and practices I’ve learned with the parts of me that I’m not proud of and the ego and shadow aspects of myself that I have been struggling with heavily 🙏🏾 I really love how she talked about having an aversion to sadness because that is something I’ve struggled with due to my long history of depression and suicidal ideation…I had been struggling with the idea that I needed to always be in a high vibrational frequency and yet also knowing that I need to express the pain in my life as it comes 🙏🏾 Thank you Andre’ and thank you Hitomi for holding the space for this; for us 🫶🏾🌟👑

Me toooo!! Girl is an angel ❤
I haven't been with Hitomi throughout her public presence but from the time that I've been her casual viewer to now, I think out of all the influencers I know of, her and bretman rock are one of the most authentic, down to earth people I've ever witnessed through this digital age
Thank you for this episode ❤
Crying after she expressed how happy she was she no longer has suicidal thoughts. My heart!
Discovering Hitomi changed my life
That is the prettiest podcast space I've ever seen! This popped into my algorithm and I clicked on this video because I find Hitomi so inspirational. Amazing episode, new subscriber because of this! Thanks so much!
I just love her soul. ❤ she is such a light for all of us. Thank you thank you thank you
Hitomi has such a gentle yet powerful presence. I think Hitomi gives us courage and space to live a little deeper. It’s not easy to a navigate the deeps of oneself.
I just fully feel blessed to hear Hitomi’s story. I’ve been an avid watcher of her youtube experience and I can relate to a lot of these feelings and experiences. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to witness this woman’s beautiful journey.
Thank you andré for providing a platform for these kind of conversations, from the bottom of my heart. A big thank you to all your guests aswell for providing all this knowledge.
The Soulfulness, self awareness and compassion verbalized is unequaled. Thank you for delving deeply into yourself and sharing
Hitomi is truly such a gem. Thank you both for this. ❤
I love this conversation and especially when Hitomi speaks about how her aversion was just as detrimental as her attachment. This is something I learned during my Vipassana meditation retreat years ago that I still hold dear to me.
Thankful both of you exist, and took the time to create this moment!
getting comfortable and familiar with the hard/dark feelings is one of the biggest things that has helped me through depression and continues to when those sparks of depression arise. thank you both for sharing your wisdom it truly makes a difference
I hope that helps at least a little
We are all going to pay dearly as a species for a few rich men's fantasies.
Hitomi, you’re such a inspiration. Goddess ❤️

I absolutely love her! Omg so happy you interviewed her. She is such a inspiration.
I felt the constant urge to release and cried a few times whilst watching this. At times it feels like I’ve only just started *or have connected to my spiritual journey but related on a deep level with much of what was shared.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Beautiful display of vulnerability and openness with compassion, love and strength. The way out is in, despite the seemingly bottomless abyss in front of oneself… ❤
Wow! Just wow when you cry deeply after listening because of how much you relate!
I could listen to Hitomi talk all day 🫶🏽
This is the best podcast I have seen since starting my spiritual journey in January 2023 🥰 and I have watched a ton of them and learned so much! But this conversation really has helped me at this time and I not only know that I am on the right track with my journey but also I learned ways to help integrate the beautiful experiences and practices I’ve learned with the parts of me that I’m not proud of and the ego and shadow aspects of myself that I have been struggling with heavily 🙏🏾 I really love how she talked about having an aversion to sadness because that is something I’ve struggled with due to my long history of depression and suicidal ideation…I had been struggling with the idea that I needed to always be in a high vibrational frequency and yet also knowing that I need to express the pain in my life as it comes 🙏🏾 Thank you Andre’ and thank you Hitomi for holding the space for this; for us 🫶🏾🌟👑
Just listening to Hitomi's voice was so calming and encouraging! Thank you so much for this episode
