I saw andy's (Hosier Firewood) video yesterday and he mentioned you won his giveaway. Congrats. As for the Solostove in your pit, that looks awesome. I would put some small stones/rocks under it to raise it of the bottom of the pit. That way the metal won't be in contact with the wet bottom of your pit when it rains. Even stainless will deteriorate over time and wet ashes are particularly agressive.
Thanks so much for your comments! I’m definitely gonna clean out the pit better and add some thin support fire brick blocks. I was thinking 🤔 the same thing. I know the ashes can be acidic!
