MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN,,,That is exactly what I need for my new and first house owner ever, finally after 54 years😱😱😎😎😎😎😁😁Your great invention is awesome..Cant wait to dublicate it in simularity..
WOW ..love this....especially hanging those chairs. My better half has one of those chairs on a stand and the legs take up so much space on the deck. This provides a great idea to get rid of it off the deck and over to the firepit......thankyou for the idea lol
I’ve started this project, i looked for weeks at many different fire pits and I keep coming back to yours. I am Going to try and do everything you did, but we’ll see how it goes. If it’s okay I’ll post questions during my process.
Sabrina & Andrew Question The swing pergola I’m planning on building the same design. I love it. Instead of two chairs hanging, I’m thinking about a 6 foot swing. In your opinion, would the frame accept the swinging motion back and forwards?
Looks great! Fourteen bags of concrete for two posts in absolutely insane! Where are you located? I assume you dropped them in 4 feet due to the frost line? Also, did you add gravel to the base of the hole before you dropped in your posts? Placing them strain into the ground with the concrete is sure to rot them out much faster.
They probably used 12 foot posts. You’re supposed to bury a third of the overall length, which would leave the height at about 8ft. I agree seems like a LOT of concrete to use. I wonder if they used gravel at the base of the footing also.
@@sendmedics Here's what they posted in I stagram. That is a lot of concrete. Wonder how wide those holes where. I think you could get away with 3 ft holes. 2 6x6x10' 2 2x 8x12' 1 2 x 4 x 8' 1 2 x 4 x 10' 2 eyebolts 14 bags quickcete concrete
Hi… I just watched your video… It’s beautiful.. I would love to make one for my house.. If you dont mind can u tell me how much it’s cost without the egg chair u had to expense
@@marcusmazza2255 Not sure if anyone has answered, but based on 4' deep and thinking the height of the man is 5'8-5'10 then the height would be 11' total. (7' out of the ground) JMT
I agree with this. There's no way that went in 4ft deep. They probably used an 8ft tall beam. Sunk it 2ft and had about 6ft exposed for the egg shaped swings. You can just tell by looking at the swings.
Really depends what the soil is like in your area. I have a smaller 1-person auger and I was able to dig the first foot in less than 30 seconds. Ran into one large rock, and the next 2 feet were only another few minutes. I live in an area that isn’t very rocky, and doesn’t have thick clay though.
It would be nice if you included the average cost of ALL materials including what you already had. A realistic look at the cost of everything would be helpful. Cute lawnmower mower by the way. (Not the dude)
Overkill? We like sitting on logs aroung a fire encircled by rocks from the old growth forest and no precut firewood logs or gas. A la naturel. Only metal is the axe. Whatever floats your boat.
Woke up one morning and your video popped up on my Instagram. Immediately said “I want that.” 3 days later, it’s almost done and turning out amazing.
You can write a book there.

@BillyRay213 I hope you’re enjoying your new home!
This is exactly what Ive been looking for. I love this type of pit........beautiful job!!!!!!
SO DOPE,,,,saw on Pinterest and have been obsessed with recreating this look, thank you for sharing,
Nice! Only thing I'd do different is use bolts instead of screws for the pergola. Love it!
I absolutely LOVE the look! This is definitely worth putting together! Thanks for sharing
Absolutely love it! I’m going to do something like this in our back yard and will send you pics when it’s complete. Thank you!
Love it. I'm using this video for inspiration. Thanks!

What a beautiful arrangement!!!!!
You have alot of faith in those deck screws
I thinkni watched a bunch of your videos on TikTok. This feels like deja vu😂
Just sent this to my husband for my home project wish list 😂
Great job!

Around how many blocks and what type did you get?
@@ronnieguilmette4288 Let me get back to you. I dont remember how many blocks I used, I wish I could post a picture.
What length was your 6x6's?
I Love it!! I'm definitely doing one and make it look like yours ❤

Finally I am going to do this year the same

Nicely done guys
So dreamy . Love it
Here from the pool guy :)
This is cool, makes me wanna do half circle for a fire pit /grill area.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful backyard project. Do you have a ref. link of the solar power system?
Love this! Why don’t you use the weed fabric in the center?
where the fire pit is??? obvious reason there...
What a beautiful area! You guys are so impressive! Wow! I wish you were my neighbors! 😂
Ours is in progress ….. I’m pooped, but motivated
that looks so cute
Did you dig the whole thing with a shovel?
Love it! What's the length of the 6x6 posts?
what kind or can you link sort of the retaining wall brick you used, theres so many kinds at home depot too
Do weeds grow on the in between the rocks?
Looks awesome, well done!
Great job 👍🏽
Beautiful yard I’m tuned in
Hi… I just watched your video… It’s beautiful.. I would love to make one for my house.. If you dont mind can u tell me how much it’s cost without the egg chair u had to expense
Looks great, wife and I looking to do something similar on our property
Should the retaining wall be sitting right on soil?
What size post do you use for the egg chair? 6x6x10 or 6x6x12?
By the look look of them i would say 6x6x12. She digged 4 ft deep which leaves only 8ft left.
@@toledo3211 When they dropped the beam into the hole it didn't look like 4ft thou. More like 2 ft tbh.
Where did you find or how did you make the foot prints?
I love this very much ❤
I love it!!!!
omg i like the back door lights at night so neat 🤗
How tall were the 6x6's? A 12 foot one right now is $174.00 so if I don't need that tall it would help me lol
You need one that tall. Rule of thumb with posts is to have it buried 1/3 it’s length. This would give you 8 feet exposure with a 12 foot length.
Great video. Thank you very much!
What is the height of the 6x6 you purchased? Was it 10 or 12ft?
@@marcusmazza2255 Not sure if anyone has answered, but based on 4' deep and thinking the height of the man is 5'8-5'10 then the height would be 11' total. (7' out of the ground) JMT
how is this holding up? are the posts wobbly?
Great job.
What is the length of your corner bracings cut at a 45 degree angle?
That's so beautiful
What is the support brace attached to if there’s no beam going across?
They don't respond
Really like your fire pit design. However, I should have kept mine to 13 feet diameter as it looks too big for my small garden.
Good job!!
4 feet deep looked like it only went in 2 feet and looks like an 8 footer correct me if am wrong ?
I agree with this. There's no way that went in 4ft deep. They probably used an 8ft tall beam. Sunk it 2ft and had about 6ft exposed for the egg shaped swings. You can just tell by looking at the swings.
Oh dear. Those wooden pillars will rot in the concrete. Please check them regularly as it can cause injury when it finally rots out.
Hiii! What would u recommend doing instead??
Hey! I am unable to access the links in your description - is there somewhere else I can find those?
Oh that’s so weird! I’ll have a look into that today - you can find all our links on our website aspenackley dot com 😊
Where do u store your wood for the fire
It’s hard to find a 6 x 6 x 12 lumber, can we substitute a 4 x 6 x 12 lumber instead?
Very cozy
At What angle did he cut the corner bracing and how long?
Just finished mine. I made mine a lot bigger
I’m curious what we’re the dimensions of the retainer wall bricks used??
im wondering the same
How many blocks will I need exactly?
Did you need to compact the dirt under the black fabric
Cost at the time?
How much landscaping fabric did you end up using?
my question too, and seems like every video (including theirs) just skips over this part 😡
How many blocks did you use?
You did not dig those 6x6 four feet deep lol. I rented an auger last night and it took me 3 hrs to get 28".
Really depends what the soil is like in your area. I have a smaller 1-person auger and I was able to dig the first foot in less than 30 seconds. Ran into one large rock, and the next 2 feet were only another few minutes.

I would agree with this, even if they put rocks in the bottom, that pole sank 2 feet at most in the video.
Love it, but please put carriage bolts in it.
We love your project and are in the process of planning it. What did you guys use to roll up your sod ? Looks like something that cut it and dug it
What is the height of the post?
It would be nice if you included the average cost of ALL materials including what you already had. A realistic look at the cost of everything would be helpful. Cute lawnmower mower by the way. (Not the dude)
How do i do this on gently sloping land?
What type gravel
I love this, would like to try this out but not got a lot of space, will work something out, you inspired me thank you. ❤
Simply gorgeous 👍
What’s the purpose of the geo fabric ?
block weeds. although it doesn't work that good if it isnt gravel
I like this
😊
How tall are your six by six post?
Hi, what kind of wood stain you used ?
That's pressure treated
How did you hand the lamp lights
Curious how much the cost of your project was. Thanks
How tall is this?
What happens inside firepit area after big rains? Tia
Lol, 2nd hand rocks
Nothing wrong with using PL
how much u spent for the whole project
$20 million with the price of wood right now.
Isnt 4ft too deep?
That definitely didn't look like it went in 4ft. More like 2ft.
None of the links work for me…
