@@rackebart boss syb 5, pigtronix synth with expression pedal. I just found these girls this morning watching fender plays or whatever. But they are known to not tell what pedals they use.
@@donnaillingworth2311 I wouldn’t tell anyone either. Back in the 80’s, a lot of the hair metal bands spray painted their entire pedal boards black so thieving eyes couldn’t steal their setups. I can respect it…your tone is a huge part of your identity. Once you come up with a sick sonic concept, you don’t want every Tom, Dick, and Harry biting your sound.
I just discovered Nova Twins like 5 minutes ago and this is what the music industry didn’t know it needed! Industrial revival bought back by two badass women!
The riffs!!! The grooves!!! The textures!!!! The vocals!!! Every time I listen closer to the nova twins I am more in love. They can fucking play their asses off!!!! And it's total pedal nerd porn!!! Fucking fantastic band. They are fucking killing it!!!!!
What gets me is their live sound. The studio/video version of Taxi has lots of heavy processing, yet live it still sounds huge and impressive. Yes, the Rage Against the Machine and Royal Blood influence is there but so is No Doubt and In This Moment among others. Yet there is something completely original there too. Now if we can find out whats on those pedalboards...
the musicianship and precision on display here is amazing. it's like having tom morello on bass AND guitar. i just discovered them but hope for much more!
Pure awesomness! Love the vibes - it's like rage against the maschine meets the white stripes meets lenny kravitz meets Babymetal - but they carved it all out themselves! Insane!
Saw them 2 years ago at a tiny festival in a museum in Coventry and was blown away. They have such awesome energy and presence live, one of the best shows I've ever seen.
I saw them live twice supporting BMTH and Enter Shikari, and i gotta say, after loving their music for nearly 2 years, finally seeing them live is an incredible experience
First heard them at 5am this morning via random track on Prime. It's 6.30am and I've just bought their vinyl LP. Can't beat this kinda quality, epic can't wait to keep listening, this is a treat. Bass player reminds me of Morello, awesome
Was a little on the fence listening to a couple studio/album tracks of theirs but I'm SOOO glad I made a point of looking up some live performances cause damn, like 10x better imho, love it!!
👍 Thank you ladies for the great performance. Enjoyed it very much. Please come perform live in Sacramento, California as soon as it is safe again to do concert tours. Thanks Kerrang for having the Nova Twins on here. 👋👏🎶❤️🇺🇸
First heard about them from Fever 333's Brain Stew mashup and then the BMTH feature. Damn these girls rock! Love the effects and the tone of the bass and guitar. Reminds me of RATM and Muse. And theyre so energetic
Some of those noises are crazy, proper tom morello vibes, would be sick to see them do a track with someone like slowthai too, that'd make for a banger
They chew up a lot of genres and spit it right back at you. I have to find a Nova twins t-shirt. One of the good things about getting old is seeing how things grow.
LETS GOOO
Thanks for the rec!
@Alex Wheeler Both rad as fuck. Be nice
Thank you for introducing me to them, the brain stew mashup was great
Can’t waitttttt you readyyyy 👹👹
fresshhhh!!!!! love from indonesia ❤️❤️❤️🙏👍👍👍👍
Just sat watched this. My god u girls are amazing. Been a fan since devils Face
Ducking awesome!
When she does the rap it gives me Rage against the machine vibes.. that’s sick.
I found out about these two last night & I was getting a huge RATM vibe too. I think I like this better tho.
Hardcore RATM vibes from the rap/singing
RATM meets Atari Teenage Riot
Also feeling Orange 9mm and other similar early 90s stuff.
These pedalboards seem more complex than F1 driving wheels.
wow someone else who likes f1 and hardcore??
I wonder what pedal the guitarist is using for that synth sound... Any idea?

i am dying ahahhahhahhahaha
Mildly obsessed with how technically talented this band is throughout the audio chaos. So fucking good. 🤘🏻
...also, that bassist can grooooooooove!
I just discovered Nova Twins like 5 minutes ago and this is what the music industry didn’t know it needed! Industrial revival bought back by two badass women!
Industrial never went away :)
Not like punk
I just discovered them a few days ago... the singer reminds me of Rage against the machine.
I just discovered them this morning and I can't get enough of them
All hail Georgia South's left foot. That is some epic pedal work right there!
Devil's Face 0:00
Taxi 3:23

Bassline Bitch 14:47

Man, what a performance! Such a fresh sounding band, love them. I know the spotlight is on the girls but the drummer is fanstastic too.

The amount of pedal-nerd energy going into deciphering and debating their possible pedal board set-ups is in the gigawatt range.
@@RandomButtonPusher ROFL! Totally, they'll be legendary in no time.

Big fan of that is-it-bass-is-it-guitar-is-it-synth angry low end buzz
I'm 46 years old. I thought rock was dead since 2000. I discovered Amyl and the sniffers, now them. Sounds like Rage against the machine.
Georgia South's bass line is stunning sick!!!!!!
Actually never heard of this band but this freakin' rocks, got to check out more of their stuff. Much appreciation for the introduction Kerrang!
Listen to there song devils face, Its the song that made me a fan 🤘
I just discovered Nova Twins and omg, this feels like listening to Korn, Kittie and Deftones for the first time when I was a teenager
.
Fresh & refreshing edge.
This trio is tight AF and the energy is through the roof.
the musicianship and precision on display here is amazing. it's like having tom morello on bass AND guitar. i just discovered them but hope for much more!
Their name should be Super THC Nova. Even sober, their music makes me feel stoned out of my civil and proper mind.
Refreshing to see a solid girl driven punky/heavy band thats actually good! Deap Vally vibes but with more anger , love it! Love from UK Notts ✌🏿
Pure awesomness! Love the vibes - it's like rage against the maschine meets the white stripes meets lenny kravitz meets Babymetal - but they carved it all out themselves! Insane!
finally, a band with awesome bass lines
Without doubt - one of the best things i found in 2023 💥 These chicks control the matrix!
Saw them 2 years ago at a tiny festival in a museum in Coventry and was blown away. They have such awesome energy and presence live, one of the best shows I've ever seen.
I saw them in Coventry too. It was yesterday at the godiva festival. They rocked so hard! Agree they put on one hell of a show
@@jf683 I saw them at the Boudica festival. It was longer ago than I remembered, it was 2018. Saw them again last week - bloody awesome!
This gig is just perfect! Awesome playing, singing and attitude.
I can't get enough of Nova Twins !🤘🏻🪐🤘🏻🌠
Are the most otherworldly sounds emanating from Amy's vocal chords or Georgia's bass?! The Twins are a freakin sonic conundrum!
I saw them live twice supporting BMTH and Enter Shikari, and i gotta say, after loving their music for nearly 2 years, finally seeing them live is an incredible experience
2.7k views is a crime. This was amazing.
As a fan of Muse, I love how much they love their pedals
This comment aged superbly as they are about to support Muse in Dublin, Ireland this year in September!!! 😎🫶🏻

Sounds much better on live than record, somehow...
How did I only find this today?
same here about 3 minutes ago.. So tour.. is when... these guys are gonna be HUGE!!!!
I just read the Guitar World article on this band, and had to check them out. Absolutely amazing. Pioneering incredible new sounds and expressions!

That bass player is straight fiiiiiaar!!!!! 🤟🏻🔥🔥
Somebody invent time travel so these gals can do a double header with Kittie.
Dance dance revolution has created a generation of tapdancing mutant pedal masters. The BASS the sound you guys put out live is crazy tight!

Stunning absolutely stunning.
These ladies are finally getting the recognition that they deserve.

Producer - how should this be shot
Film maker - motion sickness?
Georgia absolutely murders that bass, love this!

I hope there'd be one for Loathe!
Mad props! Loathe as one!! 👍👍
This is fantastic. They have "it".
wow, what a performance. Real talent to pull that off live like that. Tight, and groovin.
Following them, can't wait to see what wonderful noise they create next
This was a great way to find out about them -and the drummer is sick too
Just yes
AMAZING VIBE!!!
Amazing as ever!! Can't wait to see you supporting Enter Shikari next year ...whenever it ends up happening 😀🤘
They're fun!
i love all the songs, they got an addicting sound.
They are MIND-BLOWING 😮
The creativity is just *astounding* 🥵😲
saw them support prophets of rage. very good.

He is a fan of them as well. He knows his influence is massive
It's hard to put into words how awesome this is.
Rocking a westone bass
ICONIC!!!!!
The things she's doing with that bass! Unreal!! What is on that pedalboard?!?

Tom Morello knows all about them. Nova Twins were his support band when he did a solo tour of the UK in 2019.

You fucking slayed it thanks xx
