This has absolutely no business being this good. The whole sqq and lbh parallels between pidw and svsss is one of my favorite parts in the book. pidw may be a shit bag of a novel, but the original story line had potential with multi dimensional characters. Both lbh and sqq are surprisingly similar as the entire world was practically shit to them, and taking it out in different ways. We often get carried away with scum villain essentially being a crack fic narrated by a modern troll, but shit's still angsty. I really loved this animatic!

Man, it's so painful seeing original flavor Luo Binghe. Like there's just so much pain he had to endure from someone else who went through so much pain (Shen Jiu) so it all just feels so helplesss. On the one hand I want to hate Shen Jiu but the extras just provide so much insight into what made him so dark and in ways LB and SJ are like foils to one another. Abused then darkened. 😭
Im so sorry, but I'm OBSESSED with this video. I really love how soft Bing-ge's eyes were when he saw SQQ being kind to Binghe. Just the overall expressions of the chatacters here and how the colours pop with everything, it really coincides with pidw and svsss parallelism. I especially like how innocent yet sinister Bing-ge's smile too at the end, it's something that I never seen talked about much about how charming and cunning he actually is that he's able to swoon every woman in pidw. I dont know how to tell you, but I just love everything about this. Thank you for sharing this!!

Truly the most pidw binghe song of all time, and you've definitely done it justice! the way you align the timing and visuals with the music is masterful (i particularly like the zoom in on yqy as a "problem"). the idea of binghe letting both shen jiu and ygy see each others mangled bodies bc he know it's the thing that'll hurt them the most is absolutely gut wrenching in the best way. I adore how you draw eyes, theyre so bold and dark in a way that stands out beautifully against how neat, uniform, and even the rest of your line work is. The contrast btwn the versions of sqq, with the brighter color palette and sy's horrified look directly juxtaposed by the more muted palette and sj's sneer is fantastic; I knew exactly who sy was just based on how you drew his facial emotions compared against sj's. also, I LOVE the emphasis on binghe's canines, that boy has fangs and he WILL bite unprovoked. excellent work, would love to see more of your work if you have the time and motivation!

Hello?? PIDW video of all time?!!?! Woooooow this is so amazing and it just gets better with every rewatch!! (And I've watched it a few times, let me tell you!!) I like so much about this: the style and animation, the song, character design, facial expressions, the pacing and the scenes matched to the lyrics, the whole thing really, love it all. My favourite scene is the one with SJ and YQY's broken sword, it just gives me goosebumps every time. And I also really like the little switch to SVSSS SQQ and LBH during the bridge. I really love the Bingge vs Bingmei extra, so of course this scene always gets me too. Thank you for sharing this

Woooooow this is so amazing and it just gets better with every rewatch!! (And I've watched it a few times, let me tell you!!) I like so much about this: the style and animation, the song, character design, facial expressions, the pacing and the scenes matched to the lyrics, the whole thing really, love it all.
My favourite scene is the one with SJ and YQY's broken sword, it just gives me goosebumps every time. And I also really like the little switch to SVSSS SQQ and LBH during the bridge. I really love the Bingge vs Bingmei extra, so of course this scene always gets me too.

I missed that part in the caption but you did such a incredible job of this that it made me wish PIDW was a real book to go read lol.
