    Father fish said that you need more sand for your substrate in the 240 he thinks that’s why you are having issues in there. Keep up the great work, I’m still super jealous of your fish rooms.

    With such an amazing number of tanks, thriving plant growth, do you mind sharing which types of lights you're using and your light regimen? Amazing how so many of your tanks do so well with relatively minor algae issues? Another fun to watch video Lucas. Thanks for sharing your knowledge once again. Love our videos.

      I mostly use the cheap Aquaneats from Ebay. I run them around 8 hrs a day. I also make my own liquid ferts for my plants as food. I have more on that in my Tips and Tricks Playlist

    Thank you Lucas, love your videos love seeing all your aquariums, very understandable that some of those tanks are empty especially since you're planning on remodeling, hell you'll probably have a day just emptying tanks before you can move them, I mean on some of those racks, can't wait to see the new changes hope the new year's a good one for you, as always sir thanks a lot

    I just removed the filter from one of my shrimp tanks, experimenting with a setup like many of yours! At first I noticed some biofilm forming on top, but now after a week it seems to be gone :)
    I think about doing my water changes with rain water to lower ph and maybe I will try to breed some of my lambchop rasboras :-)
    Anyway, its been a great experiment so far and fun to learn more about a natural way of keeping fish!

    Hi mate, what are the dimensions of today’s rainbow row tanks if you don’t mind I aman setting up my fish room after a 12 year absence from the hobby but I can’t tell the dimensions on tv. Have loved the fish room series.

    Another vid would be how often do you water change without running filters? ...and plant load needed to have no filter? Thanks!

    • @LRBaquatics
      @LRBaquatics  4 роки тому

      I have some no filter tanks without plants. Water changes depend on when they get done. Preferably once a week to every other week but have gone months which isnt preffered.

    So everything is basically filtered through plants and nitrobactor? 100% biological filtration through offering square footage for biological nitrobactor cultivation (substrate, Driftwood) and plants for nutrient export!! Also I imagine it's hard to do and dam near impossible without waterchanges?

    If you use one big lamp for several tanks then how to measure the brightness that each tank receives? For example if you use a 36W lamp for 3 tanks, does that mean that each tank get 12W of light or 36 each? Thank you.

    • @LRBaquatics
      @LRBaquatics  4 роки тому +1

      Lol have you ever done it? You get to create your own water worlds. I have ran through lots of hobbies due to boredom or reaching the end of them. This hobby is so diverse and versatile it creates millions of scenarios. Plus you could be doing this hobby for over 100 years and still be learning something new. Not to mention the nature connection it can provide to ground us back to our natural roots.
