- Finally after well over a year here is a update on my fish room and what is in my aquariums. This is the first section the Main Fish Room section is what I call it and where it all started. I have to agree with you. If I tried it... total disaster.
@@cyndicombs1419 Its really not that hard and when I did it and others I know who have dared take the leap just went cold turkey as well and unplugged their filters. It is good to stay up with weekly or bi weekly water changes. Even though you can go months. Its Mother Nature she has been doing it along time alot better than us humans.
The volcano guppies...wow! Looking forward to seeing the other 6 sections. And you have the outdoor ponds too.
Even with a Hayley helper, I still don't see how you possibly keep up with all your fish and tanks, run a business, and speak at events and fish clubs.

To go with the 8 already up and running full of Fancy Longfin,Ruby red,Kohaku,Sanke,Tancho,Red brock,Platies,Plecoco and Corydoras already,oops I forgot Sailfin Mollies, can't wait to the next tour/section thanks Lucas!✌🌿🍃🌿💜

I am liking this series idea. I like hearing your plans and thoughts for a future "to-do". Nice to see your tank, fish & plant evolution. Thank you for naming the specific plants and fish along with the fish lineage and where they possibly came from.
yeah I need a fish closet lol. Just got home from work and my weeny dog chewed open and ate a whole can of fish flakes...silly weeny!

Lots of dehumidifiers. Winter is the worse due to condensation on the windows. Summer, spring, and fall no issues.

Hi! Instead of part 1 to x you should do it like "tanks No 1 to 25", "tanks 26 to x", I think it will be more impressive!

Hey man I have been battling green water in two of my tanks... is there anyway to win?!?! Without chemicals. ( I don’t gravel vac and I leave detritus in a no filter tanks)
Sometimes with no water change it can level itself out and the green will turn yellowish which means it is dying and has absorbed all the excess nutrients which is usually considered to be ammonia but I am not sure if that is fact from what I have experienced. You can also try and do water changes on it every 3 days with min. to no light. Until completely clear.
That female volcano guppy was one of the prettiest females I have ever seen.

How do you feed them all everyday?
I run around them all sprinkling tropical granules in the tanks. Many have black worms, daphnia, fish eggs, edible plants, and other organisms that create natural food cycles as well.
What substrate do you use in the majority of your planted tanks
Eco complete and Carrib Sea. Theres also ADA, Brightwell, and dirt that is in some tanks as well.
