Appreciate it Mr Dubbs! Just to expand on the “attire” bit of creation. That’s the suite where you can paint over attire items and create new looks which can then be saved and added as items in the CAW. The decals is for creating textures which could be used as logos for promotions or even as stamps for the attire creation. :)
Gotcha! Thanks for the clarification, and for supporting the channel! Keep up the great work you guys. 👍 And if there's any news on when we're getting the 1v1 demo, I'm happy to spread the word. 😁
Really appreciate all the support you're giving us. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos, really excited to show you more. Don't worry, we won't rush.
It's my pleasure. I'm a big fan of Sam. Him an I have similar tastes in Wrestling and Wrestlers and Wrestling games of course. I can't wait to see more. And to get an update on when we're like to get our 1v1 demo as Kickstarter supporter? 😉
Thank you, I'm glad you like the content. Always feel free to leave me questions on any of my UPW videos and I'll always do my best to answer them. If there's ever anything your curious about the game.
I mean, it's a pretty iconic move. But I could definitely see it being locked behind a Bret Hart DLC (assuming they get him eventually). As for a unique move locked to Bret, you can't really have the sharpshooter locked, as it's one of the moves in the original Aki games. So that would be my guess.
@@Mr_Dubbs I'm aware of how iconic it is, but the figure four around the Ring Post wasn't featured in an AKI game: Imagine how theatrical it would play out. In today's games it's pretty easy to picture (even in fire pro), but it would be special in an AKI game.
@@VeryStupid4547 exactly. Which is why I see them adding it as a signature move for Bret if they end up signing him as DLC. They've stated not all DLC will have exclusive attire parts, so exclusive moves may be a way to entice fans to purchase a character, that otherwise could be just made in the CAW.
@@Mr_Dubbs Do you think they'll actually get to sign Bret?! 🤯 He's literally why I became a wrestling fan. And then there's Sting... My favorite WCW wrestler... Sam and I actually messaged before and he said they plan on implementing face paint damage and I suggested that he give different interference entrance options. For example, some wrestlers will interfere in matches running down the entrance way, through the crowd, or underneath the ring. Then some can interfere after a blackout (Undertaker, Kane, Sabu), and some can come from the rafters... See where I'm going? In WCW/nWo Revenge, when Sting interfered he came from the rafters with his bat and as a kid that BLEW MY MIND! Imagine them ACTUALLY signing Sting since he'll presumably be a free agent next year and incorporating everything I just described... Why am I so excited about this game? Let me count the ways... I'm definitely taking a day off from work when it releases 💯. Edit: Imagine them putting in the Ray Stevens/Ric Flair/Shawn Michaels turnbuckle flip bump in the game too.... They could do it when the pad is removed, or after a certain amount of damage is inflicted. I also suggested the crowd throwing trash at certain points which was actually in WCW Nitro on N64 & Thunder on PS1.
@@VeryStupid4547 If Bret isn't locked into a Legends deal with WWE, I could see them signing him. Sting would definitely be cool as well. The Flair ref bump, I'm really unsure. It would be a nice touch tho. Sting if signed I still don't see coming from the rafters, unless they animate that into the game long before signing him, as it was in World Tour.
I can't wait for this game. If you're looking for more info on this game, I have several videos, outlining everything we know about the game. Including interviews with the developer.
I would be happy if they had a double ring. And thank you for doing this video. My only concern is that it seems like alot of people are wanting to jump to wrestling of today and not touching on the early years of this game. I really want to know more about there 80's stuff and not about putting AEW or WWE wrestlers in it.
I saw something mentioned about security... Pretty insane level of detail. I can't express how excited I am about this game: 2K24 is merely an appetizer for me.
So the actual Octagon shape and name is somehow copyrighted by the UFC. They found this out and changed the shape of the cage. It may be an Octagon cage that's copyrighted. But Sam has talked about it. So they just added extra sides to it. No big deal, but an interesting copyright for sure. Fire Pro has broken American copyrights extensively over their history. Getting away with it being only released in Japan. Once they made an American release, a lot of things changes, from how characters looked (versions of Austin, Rock, etc...). There's a long history to this stuff. So an actual Octagon in Fire pro going under the radar doesn't surprise me. If they had millions of players in the west playing it and it blew up like Pal World, it would be a different story.
Why the fuck are all of these third party wrestling games complete ass? It’s like they’re trying to capitalize on past gems in the genre that they are completely neglecting modern features in more common series such as WWE 2K and even Fight Forever. AEW failed because I’m fairly certain people want WWE 2K with more creative freedom (ironic). Just do that and expand upon that.
So I feel you on that, as every 3rd party Wrestling game made over the past several decades has been ass. But I would attribute that to budget. Something that could fuck this game, I'm not going to lie. They are very optimistic and adventurous in regards to all the features they want to implement, especially on the career side. Only time will tell what we get out of this game. I'm just hopeful the art style they went with, makes it all possible. As they explained, going for ultra realism just wasn't feasible for a team like theirs. Not financially. So hopefully this art style is the answer for them. As I've seen games like Ultra Arcade wrestling come and go.

Thanks for mentioning the sharpshooter around the Ring Post, that should be a corner special move for sure.

We do not have a release date as of yet
Fire Pro Wrestling has an octagon. UFC and Endeavor can’t do shit since it’s quite literally a shape.

Different Ring Types 🙄
You're not excited for an MMA cage and a 6 sided ring?
