Gamecube was my childhood. Super Mario sunshine, Metriod prime 1 and 2, Tony Hawk underground, Zelda wind waker, Twilight princess, Zelda Collection edition, Resident evil 4, Need for Speed, Pokemon Colosseum and Gale of Darkness, Sonic Battle 2, Paper Mario, Wario World, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Mario Soccer, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Mario party, Luigi's mansion, True Crime LA, Tales of Symphonia and I even loved Metal Gear Solid the Twin snakes! soo good I had it!
My Wii is GameCube-compatible. It's the OG model. Discs, memory cards, and controllers. I've jailbroken it and have tons of GamCube on there as well. Several of my consoles are jailbroken.
Gamecube is my favourite console of all time. Metroid Prime 1 & 2, best Mario Kart Doulbe Dash, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, F-Zero, Melee and the list goes on...
Been playing GameCube games on Wii using a controller adapter since 2015. Last Christmas, I finally got around an original GameCube controller and it's the best.
Gamecube was amazing. When Pikmin first came out I was in love. I remember playing Resident Evil on it a lot too. There was something special and endearing about those little discs, and the little Gamecube Jingle as the system powered up. Cheers to the Switch 2 coming !!!!!!
GameCube holds up the best from that era for me, the first party stuff is some of the best games ever made & the 3rd party stuff was deeper than people give it credit for. Also the only console from that time to use a digital output, that was unheard of.
see what I think a lot of people don’t seem to understand is when the Nintendo GameCube came out the Xbox and PlayStation two where the competing gaming consoles at the time the PS2 is the best selling console of all time I do believe and the OG Xbox was right up there with them at the time Nintendo use the mini DVD format for their games which made it hard for developers to fit their games on such medium making third-party development really hard for the Nintendo GameCube. I’ve always owned one because I’m a Zelda and Mario nerd and I’ve always appreciated the Nintendo GameCube for what it was. I am pretty happy that other people are experiencing the same joy I did for the system now but you missed out then, but that pretty much explains why the Nintendo GameCube didn’t do so well competition kinda crushed it, especially during the days of grand theft, auto and games with a mature adult audience rating were the games. The kids wanted to play the most as opposed to Mario kart double dash
It’s always been kind of sad to me that I missed out on the GameCube. I’ve been tempted to buy one, and if I had the space, I’d love to get a CRT for it. I just want to blaze through all the games I missed out on, though I don’t know if I could afford trying to get the games.
Bro, I’m gonna do what you just said. I missed out on it but a buddy had the GC and we where there a lot just having fun with Def Jam and Sonic. The Pico boot mod is also great I’ve heard.
I got annoyed by Nintendo during the N64, annoying controller, then they did that again on the GameCube, Wii and now Switch. While Playstation kept it normal and so did Xbox, 360 onwards
In 2006 I played my gamecube games in our berthing area on board a US Navy Destroyer with a portable DVD Player for a screen. Soul Calibur 2 baby!! It wasn't just a job, it was an adventure.
14:49 It's sad to think about that in not even the blink of an eye all consoles will be gone, either broken or modified to not be 100% original hardware anymore. I'm glad I grew up in this era of games and not the stuff we have today.
For those of us who were "Gamecube" only back in the day, not out of choice, we missed out on so many great PS2 and Xbox titles...but we most definitely had some truly unique gaming memories: the FIRST Animal Crossing, Smash Bros, Resident Evil 4, Pikmin 2 - hell, the list goes on. Truly magical console. Love these vids.
The GameCube in my opinion is the best aged system from this generation. By that I mean the visuals/graphics have aged really well. I have a HDCRT tv and the GameCube looks absolutely great with the official component cable. I have a PS2 and Xbox as well and in my opinion the GameCube has aged the best out of all 3. Also the GameCube has the most comfortable controller I’ve ever experienced. It’s damn near perfect except for the small c-stick for FPS.
I owned a GameCube back in the day. Played the hell out of Burnout 2 on there, and of course Zelda. Enjoyed Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles too. It held its own with PS2 and Xbox, but PS2 is still best 😉
I actually never had one and had a PS2 instead. But I do have a good collection of GC games that I play on my Wii that I’ve been collecting the past 3 years or so.
I have to say you are awesome and make great videos but also you need to be easier on yourself, not to say you aren’t funny 😂 🤙🏼 thanks for the content!
Dude this video feels like something generated with AI, many including me are still playing GameCube and will never disregard it, it has a library of great exclusive and multi-platform classics.
you need to get a steamdeck and see what its like to play these sixth gen game on a modern handheld ... it brings a whole new meaning to what preservation even means or stands for... if you get an Steamdeck or an ally look into emudeck cause i know your not very tinker gifted
If it's one of your favorite systems, do you plan on buying the original hardware? I'm getting one soon. It's the system I have the most nostalgia for.
Day of reckoning is much better than WrestleMania 18 or 19, some of us still hail day of reckoning 1-2 as the best wrestling games ever.. There's also Pikmin 2 which I rank just under (Half Life 2)
In all fairness, I don't need a 16 minute video to understand why you are still playing Gamecube in 2025. Anyone who sees the state of the industry for the past 15 years, should understand in about 16 picoseconds.
ive been steadily building my gamecube liberary up and yes its expensive i gave 220 dollars for xd gale of darkness the pal version is more expensive titles like fire emblem radiant dawn chibi robo frogier gogo hypergrind are insanely priced around 300 dollars and upwards
fuck dude i wish someone would teach me how to emulate. i love retro games and have been playing everything on original hardware on modern TVs/monitors and it just looks horrible. i have a pc but i’m afraid to download viruses lol
@anthony000izt A lot of pre HD systems look like shit on modern tvs/monitors because the games were developed to take advantages of the scanlines in older CRT Televisions. That's why it seems like older games always seem like they look awful now and looked better years ago. You're not imagining it, they did. If you can get your hands on a CRT Television most of those systems will look way better. You can find UA-cam tutorials that cover how to set up pretty much any emulator you want and a lot of them work on fairly low end to mid range systems. You're going to want a more powerful computer when you start trying to emulate things like Xbox 360/PS3 and even Xbox/PS2 in some cases. The UA-cam channel ETA prime has a ton of guides on pretty cheap computer builds for emulation a lot of them based on older Dell Optiplex systems you can find for around $100 and upgrade with a low profile GPU. As for the ROMS that's where you have to be careful where you get them but luckily there are guides for that. You can find a lot of ROM sets for NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, etc on the Internet Archive. Ps2 is cheap. TIL you get to games like Rule of rose Haunting ground Clock tower 3 God hand Persona 3 Manhunt 2 Castlevania curse of darkness Fatal frame/project zero Forbidden siren Shadow hearts That’s where games start to get expensive
Keep up the great content. You're a funny dude.
Funny ? .. funny how ?? Do i Amuse you .😂😂
@@BigBoss-nc7tzNo just the way you tell the story. You’re funny.

Intentionally or not, Kevin is hilarious.
Dude you're honestly my fav gaming UA-camr. Very original style, genuinely funny.

@hadyalbagu8615 - Ya, mine is also PAL. I've played NTSC games on it
@@snufftherooster93 do you have a trusty link or something for how to jailbreak my wii?
Gamecube is my favourite console of all time. Metroid Prime 1 & 2, best Mario Kart Doulbe Dash, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, F-Zero, Melee and the list goes on...
I'm playing Metroid Prime right now from the GameCube and the game is great! I liked how you showed it off.
Something about the visuals, they've aged really well even on og hardware.
Been playing GameCube games on Wii using a controller adapter since 2015. Last Christmas, I finally got around an original GameCube controller and it's the best.
Ive really enjoyed seeing these videos get better and better over time. Great work good sir 🫡

This is a very underrated channel ❤
I love my GameCube. With the official component cables (expensive) and the gameboy player attached, the GameCube still rocks on the 85” QLED.
Love the content man keep it up! 👍
Another great video, my man!
Loving the content, fam. The GameCube was an absolute beast of a console back in the day and I wish more developers put their content on the system.
Great discussion. I love how you keep in your funny comments that people normally cut out 😂 very real
I love your videos man I always look forward to when you post a new video and I even rewatch your older videos every now and then
Nothing you said alwas relevant... Yet it hit home so well... Great job dude, keep it up.
Feels like he's asking himself "wtf am I doing?" and "why the fuck is it working?" xDDD

I've recently started up a modest Gamecube collection. I'm a Sony guy at heart but the Gamecube has a certain allure to it.

The Gamecube is definitely in the S Tier for all time gaming consoles. Especially coming from a huge PS2 fan growing up.
I got annoyed by Nintendo during the N64, annoying controller, then they did that again on the GameCube, Wii and now Switch. While Playstation kept it normal and so did Xbox, 360 onwards
I didn't know Eminem was a retro game UA-camr.

My 12-yr old finished botw and totk and then found wind waker on my gamecube and loves it. Great console.
Loved all the Resident Evil games and Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes.
Probably the most nostalgic console for me. I still play it on dolphin through dev mode on my series x. My actual gc is tucked away

Oh, that’s a hard one and PS2 is my number 1 console.
Technically one of four least selling Nintendo consoles
N64. 33,000,000
GameCube. 21,000,000
WiiU. 13,000,000
Virtual boy. 920,000
It's a good video.
I'm Still Playing Nintendo GameCube in 2025 :D
