In my town in Serbia, these lamps are programmed in three levels. They work at maximum power until 9 p.m., from 9 p.m. they work at 70% power, and at dawn, for the last 15 minutes of operation, the power is reduced to about 30% power. They always glow at 4000 Kelvin.
You can set it however you like. It has both cool white and warm white. We usually use the white light until 10:00 p.m., then switch to the yellow light. When traffic has calmed down and people have made it home, nature takes over. 🤷♂️😂 According to experts, wildlife benefits from the yellow light and likely gets better sleep.
Of course it helps to calm down yellow light is better at night, it emits less blue light so it won't destroy melatonin! can it be changed to orange 1800 kelvin like LPS bulbs?
@@SkyworkssFriend, these lamps not only preserve nature but also attract a lot of mosquitoes, seriously, there is a hellish swarm around the lamp. 🤣🤣.
@Skyworkss Thanks. Just thought I'd ask. I did a few months with my local council in Scotland in uk streetlighting under the Highland Council. Unfortunately, there wasn't a job at the time after it. I dealt with faults, section faults, installing new lighting, wiring up lamp heads, etc. I love it, but unfortunately, it's all now LED. We used to have Sox, son, lighting most of it now gone. Love your videos!
Brave man. One driver who isnt paying attention and game over

It’s the same here, roughly.🫶
It's a bit strange to see a yellow LED after a few years I got used to white LED it's very pretty Yellow LED looks a lot like a regular light bulb.

@@HIDSON-TPIAI didn't know that, friend. This is new information for me. Thank you very much for sharing it.
No, it doesn’t fit in this environment. The poles are too high, and 1800 Kelvin is a bit too low if you want good visibility.
Thanks, mate, for the video! These LEDs look hellish to repair. Is this your own company our you employed by the council?
I do the job for the municipality.

a lot of people hate LED, only if they made them more reliable, user serviceable and mimic they're predecessors in both aesthetic and functionality.
