  • Time to cut the Jeep TJ up and get rid of all the rust! The Jeep will be a lot more solid and hopefully a lot more reliable after we replace all the body mounts and floors. I can't wait to see the end result!

      @@SmokinMonkeyOG Oh noooo!! I'm so disappointed. Of course, I do understand all the heartache and pain and territory that comes along with constantly replacing parts and making repairs on that endless money pit--LOL!! Just remember though--you're going to lose a TON of great content by getting rid of big bird!! Regardless of my disappointment, your decision though and I'll continue to watch ole Blue but probably won't binge watch your channel like I have done in the past with big bird. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.

    Man I just bought an LJ that could use a little TLC in the rust department. It’s in the shop getting a new driveshaft and steering stabilizer. I plan on doing a thorough inspection of the rust when I get it back and see what needs to be done . Great video .

    • @SmokinMonkeyOG
      @SmokinMonkeyOG  5 місяців тому

      They’re discontinued if I’m not mistaken but you can still find stock online if you look around. I had to use 3 different companies to get all my pieces that I need

    Hey love your channel but you need to do one more thing to big Bird she needs 35s it will help you so much and you need to learn what a full send is i know that the gladiator and the tj is so so so much more capable every thing that i have said is with love i am a avid 4 wheeling nut thank you and i hope that the new repairs go great for you remember get your rocks off the road

    • @SmokinMonkeyOG
      @SmokinMonkeyOG  5 місяців тому

      lol thanks. Stock TJ axles won’t handle the 35s but I wish they did. I break too much with 33s already. If you think I don’t know what a full send is you have to watch more of my videos lol ride safe!

    That jack is a bumper jack, most cars had them when they actually had bumpers. I think your battery is dying on your cutoff tool. I thought you would remove your body completely to repair it. I wish I was as poor as you so I could afford all those body parts for my TJ, well actually I've been spending my money on other projects, the TJ is on the list I just haven't gotten there yet. Still cheaper to fix big bird then to bash big blue. Keep on jeeping.

    • @SmokinMonkeyOG
      @SmokinMonkeyOG  5 місяців тому

    • @stephenwest798
      @stephenwest798 5 місяців тому

      Yea, my first car was a 41 Pontiac I bought when I was eleven years old, and I ran it in the back fields for two weeks until I blew the engine, that old straight eight just didn't like being wound tight all the time. It was made of heavy sheet metal although the bumpers weren't that sturdy, but I did use the bumper jack to change tires as it was all I had. That was at least a couple weeks ago, LOL.@@Toddscustomfabrications
