We used to have “ Santa” come on Christmas Eve for the kids too.. but Santa only would briskly walk by the window .. and drop a bag of gifts .. so the kids just had a glimpse of him.. it works so good.. the kids go crazy with excitement at spotting him . And no fear just joy ❤
I live in Alaska where North Pole AK is a town and Santa is there all year long sitting on Santa’s big chair and with children from all over the world. I took my children and now grand children to visit Santa every single summer. That is over 40 years of photos with Santa. The history is more than 1/2 my photos are the kids crying or hiding and we begging for them at least to stand near Santa. The rest of the photos are as happy as you can get. I will note the kids who refused are now in photos as they aged up. All my kids are fine. They did not need therapy because I sometimes try to coerce them into a short visit with Santa. Ha ha Kids are never fine, they are like a volcano ready to go off any second.

It is awful how many families force “family moments” on social media. First of all no one cares outside of the grandparents and maybe close friends. This need to “prove” that we have the perfect family is ridiculous. It’s all so boring and fake. This video was painful to watch. How many times do these poor kids have to say hi and goodbye to a faceless cell phone in one day? Grinch shaming your 4 yr old and telling the audience that your other daughter had a BM is going way over the line imo. She got pissed off that everyone did not follow the script and boy she let them all have it didn’t she?
Even me, she annoys me always wanting to make them say hello and goodbye, she has a lack of immaturity, and because she hasn't put enough education limits on the children, any activity turns into crying and capriciously..
No one cares lol just the 50k people who watched the video. What we are angry about is not a ridiculous video, but that we ourselves are not strong enough to engage more meaningfully. There are 1 million other videos on UA-cam. But we can't help sticking our curious eyes into the "house of horror" knowing that the woman and her children are already dead for several years. Christmas Eve should be about eating food, watching movies, playing board games and enjoying your family not creating this bullshit forced social media "look how great we are" video. The kids were the only real part of it and instead of enjoying their christmas eve they were tramatized and then called names. Bella was clearly emotionally distraught already, and then first tried to get Shanann’s attention by “asking” for help with opening the gift (“it’s too hard.”) which is perfectly okay for a child to say about opening a gift. then when Shanann isn’t as attentive to her, she escalates. She was a child. Honestly, I think her Bella and Cece’s emotional responses were the only rational ones here. Chris is too scared to actually comfort his crying children and her parents just watch on live. I didn’t see issues w the videos from Shannan before but she truly disturbed me with this one. At 2:07 look how Shan’ann’s whole demeanour changes and she makes it clear to Bella she isn’t happy with her and she MUST see Santa or he’s being told to leave. I’m sure both girls would have been more than happy for Santa to be sent away. The lights on the Xmas tree were only being switched on because Santa was at the door. Poor Ce-Ce was terrified but she was still dragged kicking and screaming to sit on his lap. Why on earth would you go live on FB when your two kids are clearly extremely distressed? It’s so, so sad. She was filming the whole disaster but still needed another phone to take photos of both girls on Santa’s lap where Ce-Ce is clearly upset and scared and Bella is extremely ill at ease. I’m shocked that she actually admitted Ce-Ce had pooped near the end. The whole thing is just awful from beginning to end. I’ve watched a few videos of Shannan’s but this one was very cringe. The energy was so off, it was lifeless and no happiness. Christmas is about being together and having a nice meal, watching a movie, doing family things and laughing. Having presents under the tree and letting your kids open them is fun for the kids. This was sad. 😞 Poor girls, deserved better than this. Both Chris and Shannan didn’t seem like they were into parenting. Some people shouldn’t be parents.

Sit down Santa. Twice. What's really hard is I see myself in her. Before my marriage fell apart and I ended up homeless I would get caught up more in posting what a great time we were having even though I had a mental illness that kept me from having a good time. I didn't know I was sick at the time. I wasn't this bad though. I wouldn't ever traumatize my kids like that. And if one of my kids was acting how Bella was acting I would have asked if she wanted to cuddle and have me read books to her. And if I could get her relaxed I would ask her if she's upset about something. She doesn't care about the stupid water bottle or the slippers! Did she hear her dad six discussing his plans to murder them? She really looked pale and upset. While I would get stupid about social media at times I was very attuned to the children and if they were upset they knew their feelings really did matter. But I ended up slipping into a mental collapse and like i said I went homeless. But that's also how I became independent and empowered and no longer seeking external validation to feel validated. I learned how to self validate. I ended up slowly working my way outta the streets. It was a long process. This is one of the most depressing things I've ever witnessed. Sadly I think she was being a good parent compared to what's going on in a lotta homes. And neither of these two ppl are capable healthy parents. So depressing!

Actually, I now believe that the video went just the way SW was hoping that it would. Because of some comments from Facebook of SW which basically said that the kids are terrorized by Santa and Easter Bunny and she wanted to get that on video so she made sure that the kids were dragged to see the characters every year. Cece cried for daddy/dada the whole time, not her mom at all. She (SW) had to have said something to Cece when she went to get her that caused the crying to stop. Like she was taking her to see daddy or something of that nature because Cece is ok with seeing Santa until her mom drops her into Santa’s lap. And Poor Bella, she is miserable on Xmas eve. I think this is how her life was, nobody cared about what she wanted or felt, her feelings didn’t matter to the person she cared about the most, her mom. She became a 4 year old addict to Benadryl and Tylenol pm( more Benadryl.). When her mom fills the water bottle, Bella says I want to see in, her mom says it’s in there and shows Bella that it’s in the water bottle. Bella totally changed over the 6 weeks with grandparents. I believe the drugging stopped, and she had people looking out for her. She got color in her face, and had decent food, and actually was able to have some fun in her life. She was going to school and was probably looking forward to that. SW was probably thrilled that she didn’t have to deal with the kids for awhile. She should have stayed in North Carolina with her parents. I honestly don’t know why she came back, knowing they were losing the house, and I think she also said that CW didn’t want the new baby and she was afraid to be with him. It seemed she pushed everyone to their limit and usually got away with it, Until that night. I know the babies are in heaven and have no memories of the evil that took place. God protects the babies. I don’t know about any of the rest of them.

There are photos and probably videos of SW dying laughing because the kids were hysterical and terrified by costumed-whatever’s during various holidays. When the girls were crying in fear it made her laugh. And she’d make them go through it.

Hell, when my kids were tiny even when they cried fur typical baby reasons I felt like I got a knife to my heart. I always made things better for them ASAP. I’ve told my kids how I never did that to them (they’re adults now) and if they had become very upset a shopping trip wouldn’t be more important to me than their desperation and discomfort. (Which, by the looks of her, was roughly twelve times per day). Food motivated her. She would have weighed 200 lbs by the time she was a teenager (and probably still would have been in first grade).

What a depressing, mess of a Christmas 🤦🏻♀️ No sitting together and enjoying your Christmas with your family, actually in the moment- not ignoring everyone with a phone plastered to their face regardless if they’re screaming their lungs out running from you, forcing them to sit with Santa just for the sole purpose of fake “happy” pictures 🤦🏻♀️ The rental cost of that santa suit was more than the 4 gifts they had in the bag, and a complete waste of money 💰 another bad decision with blowing their money- but if it involves making their holiday look better than others cause they had Santa, then so be it! As she told Bella to ask people on the camera “Did you have santa” like, we did!! Geese 🤦🏻♀️ What a sad Christmas just cold energy, no happiness, boring, no Christmas movies on, food, snacks, etc- just very empty and cold. She seriously does not know how to function without her phone, recording herself, ordering her very young kids to act as her tripod, forcing them to be on camera and “say hi” nonstop regardless of them very upset, screaming, sick, hungry, irritated with her phone and camera in their face 24/7 🤦🏻♀️ what a mess of a family Christmas
This video is very disturbing. She cared more about recording for her FB pals while her children were absolutely terrified. She seriously left the little one in another room screaming. Bella too was very uncomfortable and scared of Santa & yet Mom forces her to sit on his lap & smile for pics. Then when she finally decides to go check on a screaming & crying Cece, she seriously tells a scared Bella to pick up her phone so she could continue filming this horrific scene. This is sick.

Those were some very unhappy children. Probably due to the stress in the household and the emotional abuse. Those children were terrified of Santa and she kept forcing them to sit on his lap. This is not right. They were traumatized. Geeze, what was she thinking? You don't do that to toddlers like that. The kids were very maladjusted and whiney. No way in hell did she need another child. The family dynamics here is not right. Why wasn't there any presents under the tree? None of this looked anything like Christmas Eve. So dark and dreary.

Ocd can make uou very selfish. She seemed to be obsessed with her home to the point she was always aware of every single thing out of place, I was like that and I can tell you it’s exhausting and it can turn you into a really hard person to be around. It's so interesting to view a family's life through segments of self-shot video like this... Obviously it only provides a small snapshot of their lives and not the entire story.... But it's still worthwhile and interesting. In this particular one, why wouldn't Shannan just stop the live feed when things were not going well? When Cece is THIS upset? She's in distress.. "Chris dress up as Santa for CHristmas" is all a very good and normal behavior.... The questionable part is that when things didn't go as Shannan's expectations had determined they would go, Shannan doesn't stop recording or disengage from the "FB Live friends". She instead disengages further from her family, while live-streaming it. The whole thing is uncomfortable. She's live-streaming herself having 'Santa' take photos of her and her daughter.... And Chris apparently isn't supposed to break his role as Santa... Such a tragic and confusing situation for everyone. Chris should have just broken character and said "Bella, this is daddy dressed up as Santa Claus...." And showed Cece that it was him dressed up as Santa. At 6:47 Chris even addresses the "FB Live Audience" and expresses his concern for Cece.... He should have just stopped the charade but I think he was too worried about backlash he'd receive from Shanann? Who knows? This is why these videos are so interesting...

As I think many people have mentioned, Chris did on several occasions look concerned with the way Shannann interacted with the girls. I probably should say bullying them into a little troupe of performing monkeys to satisfy her own needs, and make all these picture perfect family vids. Most of the time though, it backfired, spectacularly! He seemed to genuinely be hurting about the way Shannann treated them, but unfortunately he couldn't stand up for them, as he was unable to stand up for himself either. This is such a shame as I do believe if Shannann hadn't been such a tyrant over them all, Chris would have never wanted to get away from her himself and that's what led to the affair, and unfortunately he ended up being controlled by yet another woman, who was the same as his wife. When she left him to go to NC it was the first freedom he had since before he was married, some eight years. All you can blame his girfriend for is treating him like he mattered. The way Shanann should have been treating him all along. This is what bothers me about this video. Shanann is so focused on pointless stuff for the audience to watch and to make this fake happy family Christmas production that she completely wasn’t even paying attention to what her kid wanted to for Christmas. Oh its horrid isn't it? What an unmitigated disaster this Christmas at the Watts Household was. Those poor wee girls. It was an absolute torture for them wasn't it? All for the sake of getting the perfect video for all her viewers. As you say Shannan was completely focused on her own priorities, which didn't include giving a second thought for how the children were feeling. No thought or time was given to the children's gifts. It was all about the online video Shannan Show! Like you said, poor Bella, opening her first present, only to find a cheap plastic water bottle, and not even the one she said she liked. How disappointing for her. What child could be excited about that? Then Shannan gets all drama queen on her, and calling her "the Grinch" over and over. It really annoyed me. I would have taken both of the children out of the room if I had been a relative visiting or one of her parents. I sometimes wonder if this is why she couldn't wait to move Chris out to Colorado, away from both families, so she could exert full power and domination over him and any children they would have. She could run things all her own way without risking interference and criticism from other family and friends. She knew Chris was absolutely no challenge to her authority right from the beginning, and the kids being so young they couldn't rebel or understand. However I bet that would have changed a few years down the line when Bella and Cece were adolescents. She probably would have had major problems as they asserted their own characters. I reckon they would have left home and run off pretty young. Its sad that nobody in the family tried to make them see their problems and face up to them sooner it could have made a difference and things may not have ended the way that they did.

On Christmas 1975 when I was 5 years old my mom forced me to wear suspenders on my skirt that was too big and I still remember it as very devastating, I hated suspenders haha! CeCe ran everywhere-- to and from her mother, through the kitchen, living room, the entire house. When she wasn't running full speed, she was jumping up and down and climbing on everything. Or pulling heads off her dolls, rummaging in the vents and toilet. She wouldn't sit still for two seconds except when she was stuffing her face with five pieces of steak. I think her hyperactivity may have had to do with some of the OTC shit she was pumped full of daily. She couldn't speak worth a shit for her age. Something was wrong with her.
CeCe ran everywhere full throttle. Probably all the meds she was on, also SW was always letting her stuff her face with candy, sugar and junk. But in this video, I think merely trying to redirect CeCe (or make her do something else like focus on Santa) leads to an earth-shattering tantrum. That kid was spoiled rotten and it showed.

I live in Alaska where North Pole AK is a town and Santa is there all year long sitting on Santa’s big chair and with children from all over the world. I took my children and now grand children to visit Santa every single summer. That is over 40 years of photos with Santa. The history is more than 1/2 my photos are the kids crying or hiding and we begging for them at least to stand near Santa. The rest of the photos are as happy as you can get. I will note the kids who refused are now in photos as they aged up. All my kids are fine. They did not need therapy because I sometimes try to coerce them into a short visit with Santa. Ha ha Kids are never fine, they are like a volcano ready to go off any second.

It is awful how many families force “family moments” on social media. First of all no one cares outside of the grandparents and maybe close friends. This need to “prove” that we have the perfect family is ridiculous. It’s all so boring and fake. This video was painful to watch. How many times do these poor kids have to say hi and goodbye to a faceless cell phone in one day? Grinch shaming your 4 yr old and telling the audience that your other daughter had a BM is going way over the line imo. I know women who post stuff like this. They post constantly and try to seem like they have it all. The perfect family and "perfect" life. All of them dress the same. Smile the same. They even all stand the same 😅 Hand on hip, slightly turned to the side, one knee bent and wide toothy smile. It is incredibly fake and boring. And each woman I know who behaves this way.. has a horrible marriage behind closed doors.

The kids were the only real part of it and instead of enjoying their christmas eve they were tramatized and then called names. All for the love.....of Facebook 😢 This year i beg all of you....put your fucking phones away and just enjoy your family.

She was a child. Honestly, I think her Bella and Cece’s emotional responses were the only rational ones here. Chris is too scared to actually comfort his crying children and her parents just watch on live. I didn’t see issues w the videos from Shannan before but she truly disturbed me with this one. I truly hope she rests in peace but that stuff messes with children.

At 2:07 look how Shan’ann’s whole demeanour changes and she makes it clear to Bella she isn’t happy with her and she MUST see Santa or he’s being told to leave. I’m sure both girls would have been more than happy for Santa to be sent away. The lights on the Xmas tree were only being switched on because Santa was at the door. Poor Ce-Ce was terrified but she was still dragged kicking and screaming to sit on his lap. Why on earth would you go live on FB when your two kids are clearly extremely distressed? It’s so, so sad. She was filming the whole disaster but still needed another phone to take photos of both girls on Santa’s lap where Ce-Ce is clearly upset and scared and Bella is extremely ill at ease. I’ve watched a few videos of Shannan’s but this one was very cringe. The energy was so off, it was lifeless and no happiness. Christmas is about being together and having a nice meal, watching a movie, doing family things and laughing. Having presents under the tree and letting your kids open them is fun for the kids. This was sad. 😞 Poor girls, deserved better than this. Both Chris and Shannan didn’t seem like they were into parenting. Some people shouldn’t be parents.

What's really hard is I see myself in her. Before my marriage fell apart and I ended up homeless I would get caught up more in posting what a great time we were having even though I had a mental illness that kept me from having a good time. I didn't know I was sick at the time. I wasn't this bad though. I wouldn't ever traumatize my kids like that. And if one of my kids was acting how Bella was acting I would have asked if she wanted to cuddle and have me read books to her. And if I could get her relaxed I would ask her if she's upset about something.

While I would get stupid about social media at times I was very attuned to the children and if they were upset they knew their feelings really did matter. But I ended up slipping into a mental collapse and like i said I went homeless. But that's also how I became independent and empowered and no longer seeking external validation to feel validated. I learned how to self validate. I ended up slowly working my way outta the streets. It was a long process.

Actually, I now believe that the video went just the way SW was hoping that it would. Because of some comments from Facebook of SW which basically said that the kids are terrorized by Santa and Easter Bunny and she wanted to get that on video so she made sure that the kids were dragged to see the characters every year. Cece cried for daddy/dada the whole time, not her mom at all. She (SW) had to have said something to Cece when she went to get her that caused the crying to stop. Like she was taking her to see daddy or something of that nature because Cece is ok with seeing Santa until her mom drops her into Santa’s lap. And Poor Bella, she is miserable on Xmas eve. I think this is how her life was, nobody cared about what she wanted or felt, her feelings didn’t matter to the person she cared about the most, her mom. She became a 4 year old addict to Benadryl and Tylenol pm( more Benadryl.). When her mom fills the water bottle, Bella says I want to see in, her mom says it’s in there and shows Bella that it’s in the water bottle. Bella totally changed over the 6 weeks with grandparents. I believe the drugging stopped, and she had people looking out for her. She got color in her face, and had decent food, and actually was able to have some fun in her life. She was going to school and was probably looking forward to that. SW was probably thrilled that she didn’t have to deal with the kids for awhile. She should have stayed in North Carolina with her parents. I honestly don’t know why she came back, knowing they were losing the house, and I think she also said that CW didn’t want the new baby and she was afraid to be with him. It seemed she pushed everyone to their limit and usually got away with it, Until that night. I know the babies are in heaven and have no memories of the evil that took place. God protects the babies. I don’t know about any of the rest of them.

I’ve told my kids how I never did that to them (they’re adults now) and if they had become very upset a shopping trip wouldn’t be more important to me than their desperation and discomfort. It's so interesting to view a family's life through segments of self-shot video like this... Obviously it only provides a small snapshot of their lives and not the entire story.... But it's still worthwhile and interesting.
In this particular one, why wouldn't Shannan just stop the live feed when things were not going well? When Cece is THIS upset? She's in distress.. "Chris dress up as Santa for CHristmas" is all a very good and normal behavior.... The questionable part is that when things didn't go as Shannan's expectations had determined they would go, Shannan doesn't stop recording or disengage from the "FB Live friends". She instead disengages further from her family, while live-streaming it.
The whole thing is uncomfortable. She's live-streaming herself having 'Santa' take photos of her and her daughter.... And Chris apparently isn't supposed to break his role as Santa... Such a tragic and confusing situation for everyone. Chris should have just broken character and said "Bella, this is daddy dressed up as Santa Claus...." And showed Cece that it was him dressed up as Santa.

As I think many people have mentioned, Chris did on several occasions look concerned with the way Shannann interacted with the girls. I probably should say bullying them into a little troupe of performing monkeys to satisfy her own needs, and make all these picture perfect family vids. Most of the time though, it backfired, spectacularly! He seemed to genuinely be hurting about the way Shannann treated them, but unfortunately he couldn't stand up for them, as he was unable to stand up for himself either. This is such a shame as I do believe if Shannann hadn't been such a tyrant over them all, Chris would have never wanted to get away from her himself and that's what led to the affair, and unfortunately he ended up being controlled by yet another woman, who was the same as his wife. So then the girls would still be here today

When she left him to go to NC it was the first freedom he had since before he was married, some eight years. You can blame his girlfriend all you want but it was Shanann herself who put him and her children in this controlling atmosphere. It was Shanann who kept Chris isolated. All you can blame his girfriend for is treating him like he mattered. The way Shanann should have been treating him all along. His girfriend might not be a good person but blaming her for what happened is baloney. Chris and his girlfriend were in the honeymoon phase of their relationship probably infatuated with each other. None of this was her fault. He lied to her too.

This is what bothers me about this video. Shanann is so focused on pointless stuff for the audience to watch and to make this fake happy family Christmas production that she completely wasn’t even paying attention to what her kid wanted to for Christmas. I mean come on it wasn’t hard it was a certain water bottle. Christmas is suppose to be for the kids and she was so focused on this appearance she forgot what Bella even wanted and then mocks her and calls her a grinch about 50 times cause she didn’t put on a fake smile for a $1 water bottle that was the wrong one.
Oh its horrid isn't it? What an unmitigated disaster this Christmas at the Watts Household was. Those poor wee girls. It was an absolute torture for them wasn't it? All for the sake of getting the perfect video for all her viewers. As you say Shannan was completely focused on her own priorities, which didn't include giving a second thought for how the children were feeling. No thought or time was given to the children's gifts. It was all about the online video Shannan Show! Like you said, poor Bella, opening her first present, only to find a cheap plastic water bottle, and not even the one she said she liked. How disappointing for her. What child could be excited about that? Then Shannan gets all drama queen on her, and calling her "the Grinch" over and over. It really annoyed me. I would have taken both of the children out of the room if I had been a relative visiting or one of her parents. I sometimes wonder if this is why she couldn't wait to move Chris out to Colorado, away from both families, so she could exert full power and domination over him and any children they would have. She could run things all her own way without risking interference and criticism from other family and friends. She knew Chris was absolutely no challenge to her authority right from the beginning, and the kids being so young they couldn't rebel or understand. However I bet that would have changed a few years down the line when Bella and Cece were adolescents. She probably would have had major problems as they asserted their own characters. I reckon they would have left home and run off pretty young. Its sad that nobody in the family tried to make them see their problems and face up to them sooner it could have made a difference and things may not have ended the way that they did.

Bella was upset about getting the wrong water bottle. I can so relate lol. On Christmas 1975 when I was 5 years old my mom forced me to wear suspenders on my skirt that was too big and I still remember it as very devastating, I hated suspenders haha! In ever photo from that night I had a grumpy face. The smallest things can be so important to kids that age. Poor those beautiful little girls, they should have been loved, nurtured, protected and thriving. May CW never get a moment of peace.

She was hysterical because as usual Shannann wanted them to follow her plans, she was calling the shots, all for the 'perfect family at Christmas' photo opportunity. It didn't play out as the girls were scared of Santa. Cece couldn't get far enough away from shanann, she was being traumatised and didn't want mom picking her up and forcing her to do something that terrified her. She just wanted her daddy. How awful that the one person who could have and should have stood up to Shannann and protected those girls from her narcissistic and controlling ways, turned out to be the same, on a much higher level

Lots of staging,forcing "moments",memories.Seems this is happening everywhere,all of the time. Much of our "moments" now in life aren't flowing naturally,due to incessant preoccupation with social media/sharing/posting/tweeting/live streaming ad nauseum. Documenting every single facet of our personal lives-and so much of this is for complete strangers to witness. I'm guilty myself,doing what I just described. Gained insight,cut way back,putting the damn phone down-with the goal to be absolutely present,involved in the moment/occasion.Not the documenting of.

I agree. I personally don’t do Facebook or instagram but it seems to me like a lot of parents go overboard with birthdays, gender reveals etc for nothing more than likes.

CeCe ran everywhere-- to and from her mother, through the kitchen, living room, the entire house. When she wasn't running full speed, she was jumping up and down and climbing on everything. Or pulling heads off her dolls, rummaging in the vents and toilet. She wouldn't sit still for two seconds except when she was stuffing her face with five pieces of steak. I think her hyperactivity may have had to do with some of the OTC shit she was pumped full of daily. She couldn't speak worth a shit for her age. Something was wrong with her.
CeCe ran everywhere full throttle. Probably all the meds she was on, also SW was always letting her stuff her face with candy, sugar and junk. But in this video, I think merely trying to redirect CeCe (or make her do something else like focus on Santa) leads to an earth-shattering tantrum. That kid was spoiled rotten and it showed.
