I agree 100% my mother-in-law and father-in-law did not like me because I already had children even though I had my children when I was married to their father and their father passed away. but they hated me like I was some kind of Jezebel taking advantage of their son. I worked and took care of him for eight years for him to get a four-year degree and as soon as he graduated, he cheated on me and left, which is definitely his fault, but his parents were always talking in his ear.
@LunaLove87 I did just that. I fell in love with a wonderful guy. He was an only child and his divorced mom lived over 1,400 klms from us. I met his mother when she came to spend Christmas with him. She was brutal. He was her son and any woman was her enemy. I was totally respectful towards her and didn't react to her hurtful comments.
It was a relief when she flew home and I could spend time with him again. I eventually had to break up with him when I realised she didn't want him to marry. It broke my heart but I could not see a future with her in the background.

He is actually not a sociopath. This is not my opinion this is the opinion of experts. So why does a man who is not a sociopath and has empathy get pushed to the point that they murder their family?? Nicole Kessinger. She has a history of conduct disorder (this disorder turns into antisocial personality disorder AKA sociopathy). When she was 16 she stabbed a family friend. She was arrested for a felony. Yet apparently her family has connections because she aided and abetted and encouraged the crime. She told Chris that he could only be with her if he had no family because she was extremely jealous of his wife and kids. Because he is so high and agreeableness and such a dependent personality, possibly having dependent personality disorder, he could not say no to her and have to do what she told him to do. There's actually quite a bit of evidence that she was helping him the morning of the murders. In fact, he had originally planned to give Shannan oxycodone to overdose. He said I will never say who gave it to me I'll take that to my grave. He tried to protect Nicole kessinger in every way possible and absolutely did. She is just as guilty as Chris is but because he pled guilty so quickly they stopped investigating. Does not make any sense why the police did not investigate her further

After listening to interviews about shannan not letting Jamie’s kids be in the wedding, getting mad cause she couldn’t take off work a whole week for nails, hair, etc. being accused of trying to sabatoge the shower.. I don’t know if I would’ve attended the event either. Regarding CC birthday, she had just accused them of trying to kill her. I’m sure I wouldn’t go of that were me. I’m not taking sides or excusing anything but there is so much more to the dynamics of both shannans and Chris family’s dynamics that aren’t spoken of.

On the day of Shannon’s bridal shower no one came from both sides. Shannon called a friend and said why didn’t you come the friend said I never got an invite or notice. His family hated this poor woman for nothing. Plus where is the proof she was terrible to him and the kids.

I can't get over how attached Chris was to his dad, how he asked his own father to hold his hand and dote on him during his trial and sentencing, but he murdered his own innocent beautiful children.
