I was given a small potted flowering plant. I mistakenly put it next to my QYO kale (which “was” doing great) and NOW… it’s full of aphids! 😮 I sprayed Neem Oil on it which also had to be sprayed on my basil and other surrounding plants. What a MESS 😱 What’s the BEST thing to do in this situation?
Can anyone give me some advice please.... I'm totally new to using a Hydroponics System, and am growing herbs only. I put 2 seeds in each sponge, and within just 3 days some have sprouted tiny leaves. Personally I'm thinking I only want 1 plant in each pod - and would be grateful for ideas on how I get rid of the second seedling ? Many thanks 👍🏼 💐
Hello, yes, you are correct you only want on plant growing out of each sponge. I make an exception for romaine lettuce and basil as they seem to do well with 2 plants in one sponge.
@@EverCrest Many thanks for the tip on lettuce and basil. So regarding the second seedling - I snipped them off at surface level, and they just dried up. Now the main seedlings are thriving... not wasting energy on the second plant which could end up in overcrowding
Hi Herlinde 👋, I have not tired to grow dill in one of these systems yet. Some plants prefer dryer conditions and don’t do as well in a hydroponics system.
I think the indoor plant systems are cost alot of money compare to growing on the ground. The chemicals that help the plants grow are dangerous, and consume these plants can be bad for health.
Thanks so very much for ur knowledge! Watching u has inspired me to purchase my first machine with confidence! I can’t wait for it to arrive! Today I purchased some purified drinking water with added minerals. Is using the latter ok? Or should I use distilled like u mentioned in this video? ❤
Oh, this is the system I just ordered! Arriving today! Thanks for all the tips!
Thanks ALOT 🤩 Just the video I was looking for. Many Blessings 🙌 🙏 ✨️ 💓
My lettuce has some black on the inner leaves at the top….any idea why? I love your video, thanks so much, excellent explaination
Great video.
So glad you enjoyed it!

Hi! Should I to cut the roots every some time? I saw a video that say that. It's true? Could you show us how? Thanks for the tips!
Can't you just add a small amount of peroxide (3%) maybe a few team spoons to the water / sponges and keep it clean that way?
Do you use the sticker pod covers?
Hi ! Can I take this system apart and put it away for the winter, and how? Thank you
👌👍
Thanks for the information about cleaning the iDOO. By the way, what microgreens are you growing above Blueberry?
I currently have a few straggly radish sprouts left in the system lol. It’s time to re-sow my favorites are radish sprouts and sunflower sprouts!
Can anyone give me some advice please....

Thank you! Do you have info on Dill in the System? My lettuce is doing well, but the Dill, not so good.

Does the IDOO with the fan above help to prevent mold or not? Can someone help me, please?
Is spinach good for hydroponics
No not really. 😕

Any article reference to this? A quick internet search came up with nothing.
