There is honestly no tribute edit I could ever create for this show that would be good enough to encapsulate how incredible it is or what it means to me. But this is as close as I could get.
I’ve been working on this one on and off since the finale aired, but I struggled to focus on it as I wasn't ready to let go. I think I am now. This show has completely changed my life, and made me feel seen at a time where I was at my lowest. It will forever mean the world to me.
I really hope you enjoy it as much as I've loved making it!

I'm still here, thinking about how we never met the original Elliot Alderson.
I miss the Mastermind, I hope all Elliot's alters are doing fine while watching a great movie at the cinema.
I imagine the Mastermind getting up a few times this past year but all the other alters are holding him down.
We met him to a degree. When we were in the loop of the real Elliot in the world Mastermind created for him. Also in the episode when Darlene first visits him, when they are first reunited and watch the horror movie, that is the real Elliot. Mastermind took over in the sever room and destroyed it, but then gave back control. He took back control when he put on the mask in front of Darlene in said reunion

Mr robot is 1% about hacking and stuff. 99% is pure art
yes, author could replace hacking with something else and still covers all main topics. but I still can't imagine mr.robot without this stuff
This show is probably one of the most significant contributions to mental health awareness of this decade... Aside from being just soooo well-done. Thank you, Sam Esmail and all the other amazing people involved

The idea was clever... He made the best choices...
This show changed my life too. It helped me seek professional help when I needed it, and thanks to it I was able to finally start healing from my trauma. It also exposed my small ideas about justice, good and bad. Ultimately it made realized that what I feel is unquestionable love for humanity. And that I don't want to fade the fuck out. And I too, want to fight for my future.
Thank you. This tribute reminded me of what Mr Robot really meant to me.

Finished the show a few weeks ago - I put it away after 4x7. Couldn't confront it, or deal with it. Finally sat down and watched the whole show from start to finish. And, like you, I am about to sit down and take the first step to getting real help.
Nice. I wish professional help could've helped me too.
This is one of those shows that I don't think about day to day. I think I bury it deep in my subconscious because it's just too powerful to confront. And then I watch a tribute like this and it all comes flooding back with the full depth of emotion. Thanks for making

DANI!!! You know I’ve always had complicated thoughts about the execution of the final season but your edit tied the whole show together so perfectly that I think it finally hit me. This reminded me why and how much I love this show, it‘s themes, it’s cinematography, it’s characters 🥺 this version of Where is My Mind was such an excellent choice too, especially with that beat drop section, ties so well into those themes of madness and despair vs hope and love that this show was really all about. You picked the perfect scenes and quotes and those seamless transitions just gah I’m gonna be rewatching this several times and crying. Sam Esmail needs to pay you for making a bitter old fan like me fall in love with the show properly all over again, this has finally inspired me to do that rewatch I’ve been holding off. Beautiful work Dani 😭❤️
The sad part is how his imaginary father comforts him. I keep forgetting that's just elliot wishing and pretending how it would be.

This show made and still makes me feel something I can’t explain. Like and odd sense of longing.
"How do I take off a mask, that stops being a mask?" You become into this different person where it consumes you that you become that mask. This was a beautiful edit, I love Mr.Robot so much and I understand with Elliot

I just realized that theres intentionality in Mr Robot saying "Im here to protect *him*" he doesnt say it directly to mElliot because it isnt really him.

I just caught this, but I assume the end of the series with the blue door and red door at opposite ends of the hallway is a callback to the Matrix? If someone else mentioned this already in the comments, apologies in advance. Great stuff from Sam Esmail.

I loved this show, everything about it but I have a confession to make.... I missed the last season...!! I was looking forward to it but got caught up in other stuff then forgot all about it...I have no idea what happened... after watching this I still don’t.,. Need to track it down
Aagghh!! Don't watch any more UA-cam videos about Mr Robot until you watch season 4! It's still on Amazon Prime, if you have that. Don't try to figure out the ending by watching clips. You only get once chance to see season 4 for the first time. It's too beautiful & perfect to do it wrong. Enjoy!
