I am reading the AirBnB story and I became a fan of Chesky. He understands the grind that is needed to build a company, and he is completely invested in this. 3:54 is a reflection of this, when Kara tells him that she's done 4 Airbnb experiences, and immediately Chesky asks her, "What have you done?". The CEOs are completely committed to getting user feedback so that they can improve their product. They've been doing this since their beginning days living in a small apartment.
"How to interrogate a billionaire" should be the name of this interview.

Brian is smart and his insights are great. Just read the Airbnb book. Major problem with this interview is that the interviewers / hosts are so annoying with disruptive questions, Brian can't focus and give quality answers. These two interviewers have reduced this interview into snippets of views. These guys should just shut up and learn to listen.

The problem with the woman is she is trying to have a one-to-one conversation with Brian; becuase as he mentions, they were @ dinner before. The woman does not know now how to alter and adapt her style of talking for this public arena..

I wouldn't want to be paying this Karma tab when it comes due!
From the smallest villages in Italy to the largest metropolis's worldwide Airbnb spreads like an insipid cancer, a frightening and unreal cancer that needs to be eradicated from the face of the Earth. What they did to me was beyond comprehension and I can not sit by idly and let this happen to another human being, the world needs to be made aware of what's really inside the box wrapped up in pretty paper and ribbons and bows. I wanna ask one question, a real one ! I am an Airbnb host and I am living in Toronto. One of the guest who booked my place for quarantine stopped by Montreal airport border officers and given 2 option , Quarantine in Quebec province or deport. I was his only contact in the Country and he asked my help. I did. I trusted a guy whom I never met before and made a booking $600 for his 14 day quarantine stay in Montreal. This is his 2nd day of stay. I received a message from Airbnb and it says they are not supporting this reservation anymore and cancelled, without giving a reason. I am at home , you are at home , our families at home , Where are you Brian ? where is Airbnb ? Are you busy with making another dramatic video that saying how you care about others health ?
It would be nice if Airbnb would align with all the major tourisms actors and remove their fees if the trip is cancelled. It is definitely quite unfair to keep the money of a deal that just couldn't go through. So far, Airbnb is not moving anywhere near such a measure. Is money the only thing they understand? It had to come from the U.S.A. for sure...
Others can do what they do. They are trying to do what others do. I see limits to how far they can go before they run out of opportunities to grow.
