- I have to admit, boss is cool but the mechanics itself aren't that fun. This boss requires you to chase it with boost, switching between 3D modern mode or a 2D classic approach. Your aim is the orb in the middle of the beast. The weird thing is the homing shot which I feel pretty much slows you down, until you avoid them. Normal mode feels like nothing but you can't help but incur minor frustration on hard mode due to all the little things. That wraps up bosses. Going to finish recording all stages and start up the Super Sonic stages.

this boss was amazing, one problem, WHY DID THEY MAKE THE RINGS SO IRRITATING TO FIND!

Sega Employee 1: Let's have literally every character who has ever appeared in a Sonic game spew random dialogue at him throughout the entire final boss fight!
Sega employee 2: That is good! But I still think we need more Big the Cat, just as a general rule.
Sega Employee 1: Well, of course! That goes without saying! Anyway, do you wanna go drink more lead paint with me?
Sega Employee 2: And how!
All of his friends: That looks like a Homing Shot or Warping arm attack.
Both Sonics: SHUT UP! Let both of us take care of this.

The whole fight could of done without every character saying the same thing. It's like they needed to somehow make the sonic characters relevant so they got lazy and used it here.
This boss looks pretty TIME-CONSUMING... Get it?

@Flashswifts - True, with added Boost for Sonic (the first time we see an aura surrounding a boost for Sonic, which is induced to give a boost instead of being pure speed, in the case of Sonic Adventure, I think, before it was a standard feature for Super Sonic in Modern Sonic stages)

@cyberdrache3 If your a major sonic fan, I no doubt think you'll enjoy it. I find it fun and I'm still playing it to this day, messing around with missions and Super Sonic. I think it really comes down to how much you think you'll like playing this game.

what I love about the final boss that it has the sonic 4 theme on the cutscenes and on the end
Can't wait for this, though my computer will be laggy as hell cause it can barely let me play this game, it froze when I tried to do the modern Seaside Hill Rouge mission and I got lucky enough to win without it crashing
What are the differences between Main Stage and Hard Mode in this Boss battle?
i really hate this boss, is like "turboturboturboturboturboturbo" and i cant even relax and listen to the final boss batle theme, because everyone is like "OMG WATCH OUT FOR THE LASER, SONIC" " ITS A WARPING ARM ATTACK, LOOK OUTSONIC" "ITS A BLABLABLA, BLABLABLA SONIC"
This boss fight, I swear. It's impossible to hit him in 2D mode, classic Sonic does absolutely nothing in this fight, he loves to either switch to 2D mode when you're right on him or randomly get farther ahead, the time slowing does not help him or hinder you, it just makes the fight longer and more tedious, S ranking this on hard is based mostly on luck, and of course all the characters pointing out the obvious in your ear ad nauseum.
Well tough luck for you i beat him in touching him in 2D only (not 3DS)

a lil tip for you my fellow gamer if ur on 2D mode press and hold the X button to charge classic sonic and ram the incoming homing missiles and if ur on normal mode then use classic sonic to attack those debris that block your path
I think the 3DS fight was a bit more well done in terms of how it worked. Also, no annoying character talk and fourth wall breaking. lol.
If you hear closely to Time Eater's theme (Modern) in the background. It sounds like "SAAAYY-GUH" (SEGA)
Because SEGA made the boss-fight bad. Dimps made it right, however!
I like how the stage looks, how the boss looks but I dislike the song and the boss' difficulty. Even when you play on hard mode, it's still easy to beat him. I had more problems with Egg Dragoon on hard mode, but maybe I'm just a noob xD (Sorry for any english mistakes)
@cyberdrache3 to be honest. It took me 2 days to beat it while recording. One of my friends beat it in 3 hours. It's really short but it does have major replay value so don't fret. Thanks for watching.

Not really, but he's got a point here. Some alternate universes or dimensions do start with an alternative timeline (to a given preexisting universe) created by a deviating moment, so there.
@Sonic94Speed They're just chanting. They just make random sounds to add dramatic effect. I've seen it used in many video games, including Super Mario Galaxy.
Um do you guys know what left bumper and right bumper is on a computer i got the game but it shows a controller not a keyboard

why is this so hard , I don't even know if it is possible for 9 year olds because what am I suppose to do
Riley The Maltipoo One your supposed to avoid the HOMING SHOT and two me and my friends in 4 grade beat this thing easily but it was challengeing
this boss was so easy I beat it on my first try in 2nd grade(not trying to brag)

@RatchetFuZions I've loved Sonic since my childhood, however, I doubt that it'll keep me occupied for a long time. I would love playing this game but if it's really that short I think I'll pass. I'll buy it in a few weeks/months when the price drops. 60 bucks for a game that takes 3 hours to complete is way too much in my opinion.
Wow! I think Time Eater became a better boss in hard mode. I mean Eggman and Robotnik were on the offensive much more this time around.
