If you want Kindred Undying, I recommend using Demacia. At start I struggled too with the deck as you comented with Kindred compromising the turns, but by picking some demacian combat tricks my win rate went up in a moment
I think he doesn't do that for 2 reasons: The first one is because he want to play the new region, like most of the players The second one is, imo, because undying ALWAYS is played with demacia, so he wants to make them viable in a region combination other then demacia/S.I (Sorry if i wrote anything wrong, english isn't my first language)

I also tried other combinations first, even with Noxus to clone them with spies and use the attack buffs as a finisher, but there's a reasom why undying is always played with Demacia jajaja. My next take on Kindred will be with P&Z, maybe a more control foccused deck. The Ionia version did not work haha (though it gave me an idea for a LB-Ionia deck, we'll see what happens with that hehe)

It seems to me that it is a very enjoyable thing to have to be able to speak another language and adopt a culture even. I'm enjoying the prospect of speaking a foreign language because of you.

Your Glimpse wouldn't stop the level up either, since your other unit wouldn't die to the soldier. So he attacks with Valor again to kill it for the levelup. You got lucky XD Edit: Wow, that guy was so bad. He NEVER used the Scout portion of the deck until the turn he died... that's so sad...

See what I learned is a full ascended deck is to setup during the beginning, survive and make sure your champions are alive and late game CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES.
Discovered a weird interaction in this game. If you entomb a unit or champion that has spell shield, it stays on the board and the entomb effect still goes off and you are essentially copying that unit without removing it.

I also tried some Kindred Undying decks... It was pretty disappointing 😅 But Kindred and some of the new SI cards work pretty well in a Kalista - Those Who Endure deck 👌
I love the Mask Mother, try it with a lucian + senna shell its kind of hilarious. Making it into a 6/4 quick atk fearsome + proccing a lucian lvl up, or vice versa is beautiful. ^_^ I've also been trying to fit it into some sort of darkwater scourge list, haven't found the sweet spot tho.

I was also wondering why the first guy is so passive when it comes to his turn, then I realized there's this Ice Pillar OTK combo with Lissandra on turn 7~ish
Quick Fact: People playing 3 off main champions then 3 different side champions to lvl up their mastery. I once played against Elise Go Hard but with Fizz Tf and Miss fortune as their side champions

I think it only counts keywords that things like Viktor can get, so no last breath, etc.
