I wish chat stop trying to tell Grapplr decks are stupid or meme decks just because they aren't meta. Thinking like that would make the game stale af. It's boring watching people play the same decks over and over and over again. Plus, that thinking stifles creativity and innovation. Thousands of cards and you're telling me you can't use your brain to make something outside of the meta work?

The statistics you calculated weren't correct. The probability of creating a card changes after it creates a card so you aren't able to multiply the probability of success to the power of 8. It would be more of a binomial distribution so the actual probability of no spells would actually be around 6 percent. Inner stats nerd needed to do the proper equations
I can't imagine it making such a big difference when we're looking at >1000 cards... and binomial distribution is what Grapplr did. I think for no repeats, you need hypergeometric? Really, I can't see a world where the adjustment leads to such a big increase either way.
