This dude has the most frequently uploaded epic drone shots on the internet.
Do you know who is the most famous Dave Houghton in the world?
Agreed. Just found his channel last month. Best channel on youtube in my opinion!
Yes he so cool!
absolutely! he also has the best crock pot videos on YT 😋 i get so hungry after watching!
The story till now is pretty good too, and the music integration is hollywood level.
His own theme song?!?!?! Big time!
A campy one suitable enough...
It reminds me of The Vaselines.
The premier! Fancy!
I really hope you make millions doing YT, I would like to see you ‘van life’ the globe.
I'd make a small contribution but you scared me trying to cross that stream.
id like to see him in Oz, hell he could stay at mine for a bit
@@XtrovertedHermit not cold enough for him
Yeah, I hope some production company gets him a mini series on Netflix or some other streaming service
foresty my man, the only person i know chases winter
Kmr! Didnt know you came here !
You know him?
I wished I had the option to only live in cold/ winter place. Don’t like these 90 to 100 degrees weather in the Silicon Valley
Easier to keep a van warm than cool with limited electricity
@@DS-zi2gj Yep. with sun beating down and the effective diesel heater, he's golden.
Starts fire with fuel and then immediately has beer -- a little "Camping with Steve" style!
Step 3 is climb a mountain.
@@jyarf I don't think Steve will agree with that.
Is Steve his real name?

The diversity of your skill set never ceases to amaze
I watch a mountain goat every week.
He has his own yt cooking and traveling show, with superb camera work. 👍🏼😁
With a dry Canadian sense of humor.
@@timthompson8297 Extremely dry. I love it.
Yahtzee, right there.
5:30pm Sunday afternoon, I just got home from a day on the roof and cracked a BEER and turned on the laptop to UA-cam and the man in the minivan comes through again!!!
The Foresty Forest theme song is catchy
It needs to be longer tho !
Did Casey from Vegetables Conspiracies do that ditty for you?
It needs a few more verses...it is very catchy.
@@mistermister2085 I love how its just short and sweet, but hey I wouldn't argue if it was longer
The people who disliked are the people jealous of foresty’s van, and crockpot, also always great to have a forestry vid as a birthday present!!♥️
Don't forget the scavenged grill grate!
Happy birthday! :)
Happy birthday.
Hb!
Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday!
foresty forest is a credit to humanity.
why?
@@TheresaPowers because he *LIVES* his life with courage and gusto! lol, you blind or something?
@@douglasharley2440 No need to get aggressive.
although I have been vegan for 24 years, I cant master vegetable chopping the way you do forest! hahaha! absolutely brilliant! ❤️
Thanks for being vegan. Respect.
I hope some day, in the distant future when the adventure life is behind you, you write a book about all your encounters.
...with pictures, please ; )
Or a full length film, that would be awesome.
Throws a rock down the ventilation shaft hears Frank yell, " hey knock it off I'm making a video down here."
What a life, complete freedom. You're one of my favorite outdoors-type content creators out there, thank you for years of quality.
You actually ventured in that abandoned mine ! The sound is probably whistling from a vent shaft but still... Stay safe bro.
I think it would be fun to go even farther in.
@@shandelebroyles1099 That's what she said..................
"This is gonna be a very long video"
You don't see us complaining! Keep it up!
Foresty Forest, he lives in a van. Foresty Forest.
😁
👍
😎
Hahaha.. should have added
"Travels with a slow
Cooker, a big foot

Along his trail
Foresty forest" 😁
Bushcrafting level Steve.
My dad taught me how to light a fire with a bow and stick for cub scouts when I was 11. However, he always started his fire with white gas and said, "A scout comes prepared."
I just realized that Foresty lives in a van down by the river, and it doesn't seem as bad as I was led to believe by my motivational speaker!
Here in less than a minute definitely addicted to your channel
That's the biggest herd of mountain goats I've seen anywhere! What an amazing sighting.
i watch ur videos before going to sleep... i am a loner your van lifestyle gives me peace...
I like the jingle in the beginning.
Every time I watch you there are more patreons and it makes me smile that you’re getting the support you deserve. Thank you for making content like this for us city dwellers. It’s a special escape especially now.
Forest, your videos are something my gf & I look forward too when we start eating dinner. You rock and thank you!
Those are some top tier veggie chopping edits
Just as Foresty marinades his beef, Foresty marinades in my heart.
That sounded more poetic in my head. I'll shut up. >_>
The fact that you hike and bike this far and still make time to set up the camera ahead for shots then get it after is amazing man love your channel and so glad I found it
Everyone: *THE WORLD IS ENDING!*
Foresty Forest: The world is ending?
Foresty Forest, the calm, during these trying times.
The cooking editing has gotten magnificent. 11:35 is a joy to watch.
Glad you're experimenting and learning more editing, it's fantastic.
It’s just a matter of time before he has a million subscribers. He’s great with filming, has a sense of humor and has a fascinating life. I can’t believe what he accomplishes with a shoestring budget and minimal gear.
Foresty Forest, I think everyone would agree. You need a daily podcast! I’m tired of waiting almost an entire week between shows. : )
The Theme Song, the drone footage, the ninja carrot chopping fingers... incredible!!
So much for my new goat hair cutting business I had planned for Yukon...
You've gotta dream big.
what sensational views of the mountains, lakes and valleys and those beautiful rolling clouds over the snowing peaks! Really awesome footage! thank you Forest
Seeing you on the summit in that drone footage really puts in perspective just how big those mountains are.
When is Bigfoot going to become your van roommate and hiking buddy?
A 1 in a miljon kind a guy 🤗 very much enjoying here
Sounded like a grizzly in that cave.
@Timothy Mckee nice
I think that would be one of the better possibilities of what was in there.
we'll never know, couse he has turned back after few meters
I love that you know when to stop if something appears dangerous. Nothing wrong with trying again. Good attitude/character.
When you heard that noise I was just thinking Sasquatch when you added the graphic. Better to get back to the van for dinner than to be dinner 😳
The northwest of Argentina and north of Chile have some really stunning mountains, we go every year there with my dad :)
BacH I am curious where you go.
11:40 that’s some brilliant editing! great stuff Forest.
Hi Forest Forest!
Love the videos but like to request 2 things.
1: Longer videos.
2: More childhood Story's!
Not going to lie, I listened to the intro song 10 times.
Love the intro theme❤️.
But, there is another song when I hear it Foresty comes to mind...
Oh, there's a river that winds on forever
I'm gonna see where it leads
Oh, there's a mountain that no man has mounted I'm gonna stand on the peak
Out there's a land that time don't command Wanna be the first to arrive
No time for ponderin' why I'm-a wanderin'
Not while we're both still alive
To the ends of the earth, would you follow me There's a world that was meant for our eyes to see
To the ends of the earth, would you follow me
To The Ends Of The Earth
Yep
Did you write that? It’s wonderful!
Anne Kramer Ah I wish! A fav song performed by Kenny Chesney not sure who wrote it. The rest of the lyrics are good
@@SweetiePieTweety its by Lord Huron originally
It fits him !!
Karen Tormey , after listening to Huron and Chesney’s versions I find that I like it best as a poem. But a folk version by a female would be a nice twist. Since I’m a solo female traveler.
The summit drone part was unreal! Definitely one of my favorite vids so far, great job!
Only youtuber with drone footage worth watching
Imagine being a boss like this guy and having a boss name like Forest to match. Your a legend bro! I'm vlogging my experiences in Banff, hope my channel can be half as good as yours one day!
@Nonya Biznes god bless you too. Really appreciate the sub! Please stay tuned for more 🙌
@Hauling Bass Fishing Show yes I'd be genuinely interested in a collab. Would love someone who knows what they are doing to show me how to fish! ❤
Also subscribed, brilliant content!
I was almost expecting some goblins would start pounding the drums after you throwed that little rock down the vent shaft! 😁🧙♂👺
Thanks, Foresty for showing the tramway stuff up on the mountain. I've often wondered what it looked like up there when I drive by. Awesome video!
Another great video! The food, scenery, narration and those drone shots are at the next level. Hope you do this for a long time!
Thanks bro beans. I needed a video from you!
WOW....just WOW !!! You are truly "living" your life. God bless you, Forest !!!
I am a simple man. I see new Foresty video, I click like.
And once again I got lost in the sheer awe of those mountain landscapes....also....the Big Foot face made he jump so much I scared the dog!🦶🦶😱😱
A little shout out to The Wild North at 6:34 "a beautiful day in the north I tell ya"
Awesome! Someone caught it!
@@forestyforest Lol I can't believe no one else caught it. That guys channel is awesome, and so is yours man cheers🍻
Truly my favorite UA-camr to watch.
that outro is what nightmares are made of
I didn't like the intro at first but it's growing on me. Starting to really love it!!
The drone footage at 9:36, very cool!!
Van Life for me has been more down hill than up. In a year i have gone through two vans already. But I turn to videos like these to encourage me not to give up. 😊
More crumbly stone climbs. I had to laugh when you said the rocks were held up by pebbles. That mine shaft was a bit creepy..and you kept going! Another great video..take care 🇨🇦 ❤️
I think the strange noise at the upper tramway was the wind blowing through the mine from the ventilation shaft ... or maybe the haunting voice of miners caught in a pitfall many years ago 😂
😍🥰 The serenity of nature.
What.A.View. And nice intro... :)
Wow, yet another spectacular and fun packed video.
You're really teasing the bears with your steaks.
Great to see you back on your bike if only briefly.
Foresty, what a blessed man you are. Biking, hiking and paddling in the most beautiful scenery ever. Your mountain top views are stunning and take my breath away. I can’t do what you do, but gosh I sure wish I could. Stay safe!
Amazing country ! Not gonna lie. Kinda jumped a wee bit with the sasquatch part. Great job.
You make me wanna quit my job, live in a van, eat awesome , hike the wilds and drink beer. Actually I pretty much do that now, just not full time. You’re my hero Forestry. Damn you .LOL,
One of your best videos yet, Foresty. The drone shots were amazing. And don't worry about making the videos too long; the longer the better!
Forest I hope you're well? You seemed different this video, melancholy has gotten to many of us. Give your crockpot a big hug, buy your favorite meal and dream of all your summits. Sending you positive energy.💨💥
Omg I’m beyond excited to watch this✌️❤️
Gorgeous. You are truly living life. Bless!!
The editing is so good! Love the drone shots of the mountains and the music.
Great synchronicity between the drone footage and the timing of the music.
You, Sir, cook a better steak over a campfire, than most men do on a professional grill.
Appreciate the footage of the work on the bike. Wow - just noticed how many subscribers you have now. Nice to see people appreciate quality content.
Just as well you didn't get across the river and end up pulling a Chris McCandless. We need you!
That's what I thought too
Don't understand how there are any "thumbs down" for this video.
A trip to southern Chile and Argentina would be epic!! You will love it down there!
You’re supposed to have the gas can in your hand when you light the fire. 😂 You’re one of the few people I’ve seen that actually know how to maintain a bicycle
I am gonna miss you when you become a big time Hollywood movie maker. You are killing it lately with the hike views. Your drone work 8n this one in clouds is Spielbergesque. . Thank you.
I went on a bike at the gym today. Managed 5 miles in 21 minutes.
You make your excursions look like a piece of cake. That steak and the beers are well earned.
Another spectacular video! 💗💗💗
Someday I will plan a trip to visit Canada to summit some peaks! I'll be sure to bring a crock pot!
You experience more excitement and adventure in a day than most people do in a year.
In my 30s and just starting to get back into cycling. Got myself a decent GT mountain bike. Got a few good trails near where I live. Took a look at Fatbikes. No way can I afford those until I'm really dedicated to the hobby. But hitting the trails on a bike sure is great. Thanks for the motivation to get out there and pedal.
I hope you get to go to Chile. Beautiful place. Great vid with long mountain scenes.
great vid as always FF! even though Crockett took the vid off, Indy showed out well, despite your best "sausage shower" technique.... lol speaking of, you mentioned before that you might attempt crafting a solar shower set up and was wondering if you were going to go ahead with that and seeing you: perform bike maintenance as well as a bearing change and brake job on the van, know that the work will be simple for you... :22 as soon as you said those words, I had to chuckle as I pictured the first van lifer I can think of hearing about..... Saturday Night Live's Chris Farley's character who was a life coach/inspirational speaker who: "Lived in a van down by the river!" lol...... that character was before his time.....
Cool. I worked in a diamond drilling camp in the Wheaton River area in 1985
Casey Neistat wants to know your location. Dude your editing skills are top class.
Absolutely amazing footage of those clouds and that gold mine 👍
Hello and have a nice day Canada- from New Zealand.
Edit: Damn! You had me @11:07 :-)
Zooming in on the van really put things into perspective.
Better to have the river stop you on the way to than on the way back
Amy's Chilli, second to None! Mining is near and dear to my heart, spent 3 years underground in Thompson MB when they still were mining with Tracked Equipment Partially.......Loved the Gesters!
"Hey, there's another hiking party -- it's a popular spot."
🎶'Foresty Forest he lives in a van' 🎵...That's a ringtone right there! 👍
ive never been this early, anyway i havent seen the video yet but im sure it will be a great vid!
Awesome drone footage! When your on top of a mountain and you see for miles it really makes you realise how small we are.
