haha another time and a different life ago. But yea, biochem major with countless hours in the lab.... now I take notes on everything.
hi DOMINIC, i'm having troubles sharing proyects notes with employees because I'm afraid I can't control whether they mistakenly decide or intentionally remove sensitive information from a complex shared note. But at the same time I need them to be able to enter data on the daily bases, but NOT delete the content of the note. Do you have any ideas to make up with a solution for this?
That's really tough.... I honestly don't think there's a good solution. Once you grant access, there's no way to further control what is accessible inside the note. I think your best bet would be to create a duplicate note that is your master, keep your sensitive info there and then as people add content maybe transfer it over to the master. That way you always have your master to refer to in the event that sensitive info is ever deleted. I hope that's helpful
Or, another idea is to safe the sensitive info as a PDF or Image. Then import that pdf inside the shared note. That way it cannot be edited ever, but can be viewed and accessed inside the shared note. That's probably the best bet.
