      I like the symmetry of the house and as you walk in the reception room and dinning are in the right place.
      Then as you go through it the layout of the house feels warm and intimate, spacious and the upstairs bedroom with its own hall is a very nice touch for a guest room.
      I usually go for to brothers because of the well thought out floorplans they have and this house reminds me of their designs.
      Good job on the videos by the way. 👍 I really appreciate what you do.

    The David Weekly 1.5 story floorplan over there is amazing. But my favorite is the tri pointe home the “savoy”. We are thinking of moving to bridgeland this summer. It’s just so hard to leave the downtown lifestyle, being close to everything

      AHHHH thanks and thats why I never listen or watch anyone elses videos! and we always shoot ORIGINAL videos! I started doing these because I moved here and there was nothing to look at. I am not as good at selling homes as i am shooting videos so thats why i stopped selling real estate and partnered with JoJo because he is the best in houston and has an incredible real estate team! We love making videos our way and if others want to follow thats fine! it obviously works! But just know that we set out every week to do videos we love and that help the most! thanks for the comment it made our day!

    How come the grass looks dead in your model showhouse? And the garage has plants on the driveway. Ignore that?

      It can definitely be surprising to see dead or sparse grass and plants in model homes, especially when you expect everything to be pristine. There are a couple of reasons this might happen:
      1. **New Construction Landscaping**: Many model homes are in newly developed neighborhoods, and landscaping may not be fully established yet. Grass and plants can take time to grow and fill in, and sometimes, they're just starting to take root. The builders often focus on showcasing the interior of the home, and the landscaping may not be fully finished or maintained at the same level.
      2. **Seasonal Conditions**: Depending on the time of year, the grass might be dormant or struggling due to weather conditions. In hot climates like Texas, summer heat can be hard on lawns, and builders might not have enough time to refresh everything before showing the house.
      3. **Staging for Sale**: Sometimes, landscaping and other exterior details might be intentionally left with a more minimal or “raw” look for staging purposes. This can help buyers visualize the potential and imagine how they would personalize the space.
      As for the plants on the driveway, that’s probably just a temporary aesthetic choice. Some builders like to add decorative elements to showcase how creative the space can be, even if it’s not entirely practical for daily living.

      Great observation! Blocking garage doors with landscaping is definitely something that can be problematic, both from a practical and aesthetic standpoint. While landscaping can enhance the curb appeal of a home, when it’s too close to the garage, it can make the area look cramped and even obstruct access. It can also make it harder to maintain or use the garage effectively, especially if the plants are blocking the view or the door’s movement.
      Ideally, landscaping around a garage should be designed to complement the space while still allowing for easy access and visibility. It’s possible the designers were focusing more on the front elevation of the house rather than considering the functionality of the garage. Would you prefer more open space around the garage area for ease of use?

    Not everyone so much cares about the schools, my daughter turns 20 this year and is in college. I can care less about schools. I rather see more places without HOA’s. Those school associations should be illegal.

      I want an HOA. Try living next to a hoarder…. Our houses are worth 400k each. Yet all his crap outside …. Uuughh. No HOA. So see. They serve a purpose.

      I actually went to the comments to say something similar. We would like to see more homes without HOAs. We absolutely DO NOT want to deal with them. I love watching these, but, can you guys show homes without HOAs?

      @@eddiefniii Well I my current house is $250k. Houses range $200k to $400k No HOA and my neighborhood is nice. So maybe you should call the city on your neighbor. They are city codes. Go on UA-cam and watch the horror stories about HOA’s.

      You still want to keep schools in mind in case you decide to sell! If you want a non HOA neighborhood, you will have to look for much older neighborhoods or find some land and build. With that said, this video is not for you!

    If the floor was textured different. Maybe some tile as opposed to the wood look it would have added TONS of value to it. The wooden approach actually cheapens its attraction. Nice glossy tile ALWAYS out values the wood style.

      @@houstontexasliving33 It would make more sense for the buyer to get the basic house with no upgrades and just do the upgrades from Home Depot after closing. This will reduced the accessed value and annual property tax bill and Home Depot is going to be less expensive than buying the upgrades through the builder.

    Westin homes use to be one of the builders who gave you the biggest bang for your buck. I see that has changed. My ex-wife and her husband purchased a 3800 sqft Westin Home in Cinco Ranch area for around $320K. It looks like that run around $600k now. SMH

    Its not a knock on you guys, but this is a glorified starter home at best. I cannot believe people will spend half a million plus to walk on hard plastic everyday.
    There is nothing wrong with vinyl flooring, especially if you have kids, animals;however, no one is going to give you $500K+ for your home when you sell it. Why? Outside of laminate flooring, vinyl flooring is the the next cheapest flooring.

    Cypress used to be nice, now it’s turning bad like the rest of Houston. This place is nice now but in 10-15 years it will turn into a dump. It’s an endless cycle, Houston eats everything up and turns it bad.

    Not a tree taller than 5 feet in sight….these homes are nowhere near downtown Houston.
